India will host half of the ICC tournaments from now and there's nothing Pakistan and Pakistanis can do except seething endlessly on online forums and SM pages.

I wonder how helpless that must feel like.

People here who had the green smoke coming out of their ears and other places they did'nt even imagine existed tried their best to link that one cola incident, the nipah virus - which incidently came into india from its esteemed neighbouring country to undermine the WC, Its still going ahead, and by all counts a successful one....not an iota of farak on it or for that matter to the gadzillion foreign firms in india and the expats here...

Had the thread been to condemn that particular incident, everyone would have.

However, OP is asking more general question whether India deserves to host this WT20 at all. So the responses will be generic where we should highlight both good and bad part of India.

Showing a random incident in Delhi but not praising world class stadium like Eden Garden will only do disservice to this thread.

Im not sure what you intend to achieve by posting these useless irrelevant posts when India’s bad hygiene and Nipah virus are a reality.

Yeah raining in colombo means they have poor facilities? Make it make any sense, low IQ stuff.
 
David Warner has posted about this on his instagram as well, before him international badminton players were calling out India for disgusting hygiene situation. Yet some of their own people will deflect to anything and everything.

How is that affecting WT20 though? Sure you can discuss about India's hygiene issues or Nipah virus separately. However, since you are asking the specific question about whether India deserves to hold this tournament, we need to present counter argument and highlight the positives as well.

What a blockbuster tournament so far, great performance by India, great fight by associates, full crowds with total vibe, players having a good time and even obscure players overnight becoming social media celebrities, teams like Namibia getting Flipkart as sponsors, Scotland getting sponsored by 5 star etc etc 👏🏼, brilliant trade and expansion strategy. Also the mandatory Ind-Pak game with Ind winning which produces more content, gotta say Super hit 👍❤️

I will say this, I do miss the Eastern padosis for one thing: the inevitable howling and wailing, the “how can he slap” expressions of disbelief from their fans at the end of every game.

little, literally and figuratively. disgrace to sporting world that we have to live with such a talentless neighbor on our eastern side. hopefully they get kicked out of the world cup in future too.
