Hasan Ali on fire. Exploding stumps throughout his bowling.

Absolutely unreal player.

ODI is his strongest format, but even in T20 he is one of the best players in the world.

Superb, superb player. One of the best in the world.

Hasan Ali showing why he is the BEST LOI bowler in the world.

In May we will see him announce himself in test cricket

I'd rate Chahal higher, but it's very very marginal.

I'd still take Hasan because he's a good batsman.

Why you comparing a spinner to a pacer?

They are both bowlers. They have the same job; take wickets, deny runs.

It's like saying "how can you compare left hander with right-hander?"

It doesn't matter how they do it, the point is they have the same job description so you can compare how well each does at performing that job.

You are saying Chahal is the best bowler India have? I dont see Chahal taking the no1 spot in ODI anytime soon.

He is definitely the best white ball bowler in India.

Might take an year for him on rankings etc because he got the breakthrough only after Champs Trophy.

His T20 data is slightly weaker than a few world-class bowlers (Rashid Khan for instance) but that's because he bowled at Bangalore when it was a huge hitting venue, and all the toughest overs. Adjusting for that he's the best at T20.

Hasan is better at ODIs though.

Elite performance. Pace, swing, yorkers and flying stumps. The confidence in him is just unreal, check out the celebrations, sending batsmen back to the pavilion.

This guy if focused, is on his way becoming one of the finest bowlers produced in Pakistan.

ICC awarded him a £35k Hublot watch; time to offer him a ferrari.

Hasan Ali is the real deal. MashaAllah MashaAllah nazar na lagay hamaray boy ko <3

1st 5'fer of BPL goes to Hasan Ali... make no mistake about it, this is bigger than a t20 century on flat tracks, this performance is right up there.... and 5 bowled that is just so reminisicent of Waqar Younis at his peak

I think Hasan Ali will be a fan favorite if he keeps going like this. MashaAllah once again :D

Masha Allah!
What a cricketer he is!!
Our biggest find since Akram and Younis.

Hasan has an amazing FC average
He played just 5 test matches so far(3 under defensive Misbah) and 2 in UAE
His test stats will improve..

Chahal bowls far too many rank deliveries. Kuldeep is FAR superior and I'd pick Ashwin over him too. Kuldeep for me will be world class one day.

Back to Hasan- my goodness what a talent. Speechless

ATG GOAT in the making if he keeps going the way he is.

Champion bowler <3

We shouldn't let him bowl that many overs though and manage his workload, I would wrap him in cotton wool he is our only hope in 2019 World Cup...

Any injury is detrimental to Pakistan's hopes

Ah the last yorker, good old classic pakistani delivery, what a sight!

Thanks for sharing but is there any HD video available, searched on YouTube but found only PTV Sports like quality or lack of it.

Hassan showing his class.
best thing about him is that in personal life he is very simple and down to earth.

I love Hasan to bits but does anyone else feel that he is overdoing his propriety celebration?

you might feel because he has taken the fifer and had to do five times.. the more wickets he takes the more you 'll see it :yk2

Shouldn't really be playing these trash leagues but atleast he's getting the experience of bowling with a new ball. Too good for the Bangladeshis.

Fantastic to watch.

Pace bowling at its best.

Good comeback after being taken to the cleaners in the last game.

Cheeta ha ye larka, champion bowler, enough said.

Having said that personally I would not like Hasan to be playing in these leagues. Hasan should spend this time resting his body and perhaps doing some gym work to increase fitness levels. But since Pakistan does not have any series lined up in near future it is fine this time as he will get this rest in coming months.

Hasan is going through an incredible bowling phase which could be his peak. Hasan should be mindful that this peak should be capitalised upon and streched as long as he can. Last thing I want is Hasan to get injured while in his bowling peak. Best of luck to the lad.

great bowler.. he is quicker then what batsmen think about him.. great fitness as well..

Agree, his trademark celebration is getting boring now. Needs to mix it up.

he needs to do this celebration for important wickets only and not for tail enders.. He needs to save for big occassion.. every one wants to have a famous celebration like akhters but dont realise that he airplane who set off only after imporrant wicket in a crucial time...

Hasan is entering into the league of Hazelwood and Rabada. Just needs to perform in test cricket. I'm sure he'll thrive in that format.

More than talent it is his determination . He is like Miandad , he wants to win , and he wants to perform , and is not shy working hard for it.

Even though it was a 20/20 it was still a joy to watch.

His improvement over the last 1 year has been remarkable.

Hope he stays hungry but I do share some concerns about his workload - PCB have to manage him.

A 5for in T20 is better than 125 any day - apart from the batting rules & the wickets, fundamental difference with bowlin & batting in T20 (LO) is that bowler can bowl only 20%-25% (theoretically, if a rain shorten match is played for 16 overs, one bowler can bowl 4, that’s 25%) of overs, batsman can bat 100% time, roughly 50%+ balls.

A 5for in T20 means a wicket better than par 5 balls, which is actually tougher than a Strike Out (K) in baseball - this guy hit the timber 5 times & 3 or 4 of his wickets are from top order. Outstanding.

:))) :)))

Thanx to whoever wrote this, when I saw this could'nt control my laughter.
This post reminded me of an indian's post in this same forum calling Ravindra Jadeja, the next Wasim Akram.

Reminded me of waqar from 1992. (But with early swing instead of late swing) nevertheless loving his fuller length and skidded pace. He is everything that Sami could have been

last wicket was peach of a delivery . they way he reversed that ball was amazing.

Funny. :))

What's up with the signature, btw? Is that a quote from someone or your own personal thing?

Yeah. He should pull this one out for the big occasions.

Great bowling. Full, fast and straight.

But the batsmen were totally inept. Those shots are cringeworthy.

It's a quote from Imran Khan against his political opponents and it resonated with me :afridi

Needs to build up those skinny legs and shoulders too a little to keep himself fit as long as possible.

First of all even your comparison isn't that ridiculous. Jadeja has been ranked 1 in both ODI and Tests for bowling in the world, and 7th in T20, so by any standard whatsoever it wasn't ridiculous to consider Jadeja as a top-class bowler. Obviously he's not in the best form now, so it's very easy to criticize him. But I guarantee you this, within next two years at some point, people in this forum will be asking to drop Hasan Ali. In fact as early as 5 months back I can probably find some posters who had that opponent.

Secondly Yuzvendra Chahal is absolutely ridiculously good at white ball bowling. Anyone who thinks otherwise doesn't know what they are talking about and hasn't watched him bowl enough.

Taking nothing away from Hasan Ali , 5 of the most atrocious shot attempts were on display in that clip.

tbh some of those deliveries were really good. If you watched his spell he was reversing it. BD pitches are really good for reverse swing and he exploited them perfectly.

Comilla Victorians’ Pakistani recruit Hassan Ali and Dhaka Dynamites captain Shakib Al Hasan have been penalised for breaching Level 1 and Level 2 respectively of the BCB Code of Conduct during their Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2017 match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on 20 November.

Ali was fined 25 percent of his match fees after he was found to have breached Article 2.1.7 of the BCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to ‘Using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batsman upon his dismissal during a Match’. He was charged by on-field umpires Ranmore Martinesz and Masudur Rahman Mukul, third umpire Anisur Rahman and fourth umpire Imran Parvez Ripon for pointing towards the dressing room after dismissing Dhaka Dynamites batsman Mosaddek Hossain Saikat.

Ali admitted the offence and accepted the sanction proposed by Match Referee Samiur Rahman and, as such, there was no need for a formal hearing.

In addition to the sanction imposed two (02) demerit points have been added to Ali’s disciplinary record.

Level 1 breaches carry a minimum penalty of an official warning, a maximum penalty of 30 per cent of match fee, and one (01) or two (02) demerit points.

Shakib meanwhile, was fined 50 percent of his match fees for his offensive reaction to an LBW appeal being turned down by the umpire. Article 2.2.4 relates to ‘Using language or gesture(s) that is seriously obscene, seriously offensive or of a seriously insulting nature to another Player, Player Support Personnel, Umpire, Match Referee or any other third person during a Match’. In addition, three (03) demerit points have been added to Shakib’s disciplinary record.

Level 2 breaches carry a minimum penalty of a fine of 30 percent of the match fees and a maximum penalty of a suspension of one (01) match and three (03) or four (04) demerit points. Pursuant to Article 7.5 of the Code, if a player reaches four (04) or more demerit points in the tournament, the points will then be converted into suspension points. Four (04) demerit points equate to a ban of one (01) match.

Just to clarify that was a T20 only statement.

In ODI I would definitely prefer Hasan even as a pure bowler.

No doubt, Chahal is going to be next big thing for India but it's too soon to judge him. And you should not judge him for only T20s. T20 is some how a meaningless format where a bowler like Binny can become Marshal on his day. India should prefer Chahal for longer formats and am sure he is going to become a permanent choice. I see lots of potential in this dude and i wish him a very best of luck for future.

I hope he will not be destroyed by Indian management for meaningless T20s and leagues e.t.c

This is totally untrue. In any format a random bowler can have a great day. But it's very difficult to consistently achieve low economy and lots of wickets. Because T20 has high sample size we can see good bowlers from bad bowlers, and Binny is very bad at T20.

We don't think T20 is meaningless, and he is in fact an expert at white ball bowling, and he should stay that way rather than alter his game for Tests.
