This is disgusting beyond words. The female government official had earlier attended an event in which she called for equal rights for all minorities including Ahmedis.

This enraged local college students who requested to meet the official. The meeting was held later on during which the students interrogated the hapless woman and forced her to abuse Ahmedis.

Unfortunately, extremism has seeped into every segment of our society and this trend shows no sign of slowing down. Whoever speaks against extremism and intolerance is either killed or forced to leave the country.

Where was harresment? She cleared her point of view. Poory mulk ma awam ny nikal ana tha Dangy fasad etc She needs to understand choice of words in public gathering. Dont blame the society here.

Who can you say that we should not blame the society? People who kill Pakistanis in the name of Islam are amongst us, they have not descended from Mars. As I have said many times before, Pakistan is the worst place for minorities

This filth mentality and mullahgiri will never let this country progress. Disgusting goons.

So many men barking at her is while being filmed as evidence is not harassment?

She cleared her point of view to match theirs for fear of her safety and that of her child and family. She had to give justification of her child's name because of these jaahil ghunday mullahs.

@OP , and the reason of the thread is .... ? tell me the actual reason behind it... dont need to sugar coat it ...

The reason is to inform people that religious persecution and extremism is alive and kicking in Pakistan.

First of all Ahmadis call them Muslim and rest of the Pakistan including constitution of Pakistan calls them non-muslim, itself is violation of human rights and curb on freedom of religion... It does not matter even if they believe in Allah, as long as they think they are muslim, nobody has right to call the non-muslim or treat them they way they have been treated for last 40/50 years in Pakistan...

On top of that if somebody supports their rights, entire society will go after them as if they are worse enemy of the state :((

Freedom of religion means, you can believe whatever you want to, and state has no right to define any religion or anyones religion... Same goes for Blasphemy law, that is ridiculous law...Making religion as mandatory column in national ID card and passport it a fundamental violation of freedom of religion, you are classifying people based on religion :acp:

These are fundamental reasons, International community does not respect Pakistan, and country does not make progress... Again corruption is secondary issue, fixing your culture is lot harder, but its cheap, does not cost money, but will to change it...

And then you have some Pakistanis who have the nerve to lecture and criticize India on its alleged treatment of minorities.

This is a Muslim lady being cornered. Not a minority woman. Compare that with the Muslim girls shouting abuse at the police the other day and who became overnight heroes here.

That does not mean Ahmedis do not face persecution if they have representation in the army and government. These two are not mutually exclusive.

To further expand on your poor argument, Shias are also in the army and government but they are the most-persecuted minority in Pakistan. In the last ten years, 7000 Shias have been killed in bomb and gun attacks.

How is the 75000 figure related to persecution of minorities in Pakistan?

Let me tell you once more, having a Shia president does not mean Shias face no persecution in Pakistan. The reality is, this country is horrible for minorities.

Men dont bark thats offensive, if i would say women bark? How do you feel.
Mullahs are not jahil gundays please You also need to choose correct choice of words on a public forum i-e Pakpassion like that lady in the video :) Correct choice of words.

As i mentioned earlier ,in a country like Pakistan wrong choice of words against Sunnis Shias Ahmadis etc can leads to riots brawls dharnas etc. :)

She raised a good point but lack of support for her shows the mentality of the society which she lives in.
