Why does he need to do this celebtration in a warm-up match against a team made up of 2nd XI cricketers in front of a few hundred people?

Oh, come on, Saj! It's only a celebration. The guy is passionate and enjoys his cricket. There's nothing more to it than that.

Blatant cheating, but expected from a show pony like Hasan. Ever since he achieved stardom in 2017, his attitude has been terrible and it is always a pleasure to see him get smashed.

Although the results were humiliating, I particularly enjoyed the spanking Rohit and Dhawan gave him in the Asia Cup.

I have no shame in admitting that I enjoy Hasan, Shadab and Faheem failing although I always hope that it doesn’t cost Pakistan the game.

Spot on Mamoon.

Hasan was loosing his focus and he already thought he was an ATG after the CT performance.

However he is back on track after getting a “reality check”.

Same applies for Shadab, he has regressed massively after the wicket of Yuvraj Singh, but same case as Hasan Shadab got a “reality check” and is slowly getting back to his old form.

And the lesser said about Faheem, the better it is.

Look I get it in international matches but why do it in a low-key match like this where he could risk injury and also drop the ball as he did on this occasion.

But it isn't about the stage (i.e. practice vs international). He's just having a good time with his mates while practicing. I just think that a lot of the Pakistani fans would nit pick stuff that is so trivial.

He's not getting in the face of a batsman and sledging the *rap out of him! It's just a way of him to express his passion. That's all.

Also, I don't believe he dropped the ball. I'm surprised how so many here can call him a cheat based on a video made from around 60 feet away with a cell phone!

Also, what is up with this latest trend of calling out anyone who has a hint of personality by saying that 'success has gotten to their head'?

Who are you guys, self proclaimed psychologists? What basis do you have to claim what has gotten to their head and what hasn't?

I see a couple of usual suspects calling out Shadab and Hassan with this ridiculous claim. These two players have been the fittest guys in our team. They haven't had any misdemeanors and have gone about their business professionally. Just because they like to express themselves and have a good time means that they've become arrogant?

Maybe you lot have gotten used to the boring dud personalities of the Misbah-era. Criticize their performances all you want, but please don't fire away these unfounded claims w/o any facts to back them up.

Exactly.

people on pakpassion need to get a life. if the catch is taken or not, it is for the umpires to make a decision.

I will always remember moin khan gloriously faking a catch of ganguly and fooling the umpire into giving it out, in an india-pakistan test match in 1998.

There is also Ricky Ponting, claiming a catch that clearly didnt carry to him. It was given out without consultation with the third umpire. India vs Australia 2008.

This in comparison, is absolutely nothing. just some people on pakpassion, who nurture personal grudges with Hassan Ali, who look for any excuse to make some noise.

POTW, these guys are hating on a young guy who made it from the bottom. It's a domestic side who cares let him live.

Out, but him throwing away the ball immediately made it look suspicious. If he had dropped it we would've seen at least a little bit of panicking, nobody has that great of a presence of mind to immediately start celebrating to cover the fact that he dropped it. He should be more careful next time and for gods sake can he stop doing that celebration after EVERY wicket.

He made a meal of a sitter that is the first part. Second part is he claims a false catch. Completely in possession means he has to literally make a different movement like throw, before releasing it. This is joke of an appeal that would be made fun of.

I won't comment on celebration part because I don't care.

About cheating stuff, I have seen this video at least 10 times. But still can't make out what happened. Did he really drop it? Can't say that for sure.
Seeing so many calling him cheat, I was contemplating a visit to ophthalmologist. But seeing your response, I now think my eyes are alright.
That video cannot be relied upon to make an opinion.

To be really frank the video does look suspicious. I just don't think the ball was in his had long enough to constitute a catch. Also the ball falling down instead of being thrown up in the air gives an indication he wasn't in control of the ball at all times. Anyways people can form their own opinion but for me this wasn't a clean catch.
