Sounds pretty dull to me. Where is the energy? He's singing in low register for 90% of the song and the only melody there is that weird trumpet/piano sound.

Cricket anthems should be high octane! They should get the blood pumping. This song is more suitable for a kids birthday party.

We used to get anthems like:

Hai koi Hum Jesa - String

Dil Maangay - Vital Signs

Jeetein Gay - Vital Signs

Jazba Junoon - Junoon

and the more recent Khel Ja Dil se - Fawad/Symt


These kind of songs made you feel like you could punch a hole in the wall. These new gen songs are so flat!

The build up is nice but when it breaks it leaves something for wanting. It's nice but just missing that final hammer.

For sure! Atif Aslam is a personal fave of mine. His songs in the Bollywood movie Prince are simply superb. He's got such a smooth pleasant drool worthy voice!
