Only a bias mind will deny the greatness of Miandad the cricketer. Alas, he could never aquire skills to speak. He is ultra passionate for the success of Pakistan but the message he is giving in this video is nothing new and we all know what is needed to be done.

ISLAMABAD: Legendary cricketer Javed Miandad says he was the driving force for Imran Khan in cricket.

In an interview on his YouTube channel Tuesday, the former Pakistan captain said actually he was the captain of Imran Khan. He said he will join politics and tell people what is real politics? He explained that after joining politics he will call a spade a spade.

Javed Miandad, a member of the World Cup winning team in 1992, said he made Imran Khan the prime minister, but it seems he has lost his way. He said Imran Khan is not running the country properly and the appointments in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) are also questionable.

He said Imran Khan has deprived players of their jobs. He said the people of Pakistan are very capable, and there is no need to run the Affairs of Pakistan cricket by bringing people from abroad. He alleged that ignorant people are running the affairs of PCB. He said who will catch the foreigners if they escaped after doing corruption in the PCB.

Javed Miandad also said that the treatment of former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed was not right. He praised the Pakistan Army for keeping the country united.

Javed Miandad has a change of heart, apologises to Imran Khan

KARACHI: Doing a volte-face, Pakistan’s legendary batsman Javed Miandad on Friday apologised to his former teammate Imran Khan, days after slamming his leadership as the country’s Prime Minister.

The rapid change of heart happened after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) appointed Miandad’s nephew, Faisal Iqbal, as one of its head coaches for the domestic teams.

Known for his controversial remarks, Miandad apologised to Imran while speaking to ARY News.”If I have offended anyone, I apologise for my words, especially to the Prime Minister because I was angry about Pakistan’s performance in the first Test against England,” Miandad said.

Currently touring England, Pakistan lost the first Test by three wickets after having England in a spot of bother, while the rain-marred second match ended in a draw.

Miandad added, “I have full respect for the Prime Minister and Pakistan cricket fans all over the world.”

His latest remarks are a far cry from the words he had used for Imran recently.

On his YouTube channel, Miandad had accused Imran of damaging cricket in the country and even went to the extent of challenging him in politics.

One of Miandad’s issues was the changes and appointments World Cup-winning captain Imran had made in the board since becoming the country’s premier.

He had then said, “I was your captain, you weren’t my captain. I’ll come to politics and then I’ll talk to you. I was the one who led you all the time, but you act like god now.

“It is almost like you’re the only intelligent person in this country. As if no one else has gone to Oxford or Cambridge or any other university in Pakistan. Think about the people.”

“You don’t care about the country. You came to my home and went out as a Prime Minister. I challenge you to deny this.”

He just seems totally bored with his life ranting away like a mad man. This is why every sports person should do something very different after their career is over. JM taking credit for IK being PM is just a desperate way to be someone again. No one is stopping him from forming his own party to fight for the top position in anything. Like he failed as a coach will do so as a politician as well so please Javed think of all the wonders you did for Pak before making a fool of yourself. The PM has much more then Cricket on his mind.
