Mohammad Wasim mentioned Munir in his interview with PakPassion.net:

There are plenty of very talented and skilled youngsters all over Pakistan in U-19 cricket who have great futures ahead of them. When we speak about Northern, there are some players in the U-19 side whom I will move up to the second XI and then to the first XI if they continue doing well. I would like to mention off-spinner Mubasir Khan who has been doing really well for our U-19s side and there is fast-bowler Munir Riaz who is already with us in our first XI and is someone who bowled really well for Northern against MCC where he took the prize wicket of Kumar Sangakkara.

Took 4 wickets already today against KPK. The only caveat is that it's KPK, who don't especially have a strong top order. Anybody watch this lad bowl on YouTube? What's he like re: attributes, bowling style etc?

Good lines with decent pace and bounce. Was rated decently at U19 level, good to see him getting an impressionable FC debut.

The talent keeps coming through Northern. Wow!

Next, watch out for Mubasir Khan next season.

From PCB Report:

Northern’s Munir Riaz recorded a five-wicket haul on debut on day two of his side’s fifth round first-class Quaid-e-Azam Trophy fixture against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the National Stadium on Friday.

The 19-year-old right-arm pacer took five wickets for 91 runs as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were 249 for seven and 211 runs behind Northern at the close of play.

The former Pakistan U19 bowler rolled over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s top and middle-order as he accounted for Musadiq Ahmed (19), Israrullah (19), Adil Amin (11), Zohaib Khan (0) and Sajid Khan (18).

Looks like a Hassan Ali type bowler. Good but seems quite short so doesn’t have much room for error.

Excellent spell let's see how he does in future matches.good to be talent coming from nothern.

I think Muhammad Wasim the Northern coach. He needs to be applauded for giving youngsters opportunities to showcase there talent. The second thing I like about him is the attacking cricket that he plays with the Northern. So refreshing to see such an approach in Pakistani circles. In the last game they well just fell short of their target of 380 odd in 80 odd overs in the last innings.
Should have been send with the Shaheens to NZ

It's only a matter of time before he becomes a coach or selector

Looks a real prospect!

Due to mohammad wasim exploits maybe best for him to stay were he is, doing so well giving youngsters a chance.

But if he is promoted would love to see him as Pakistan coach

lacks control for top level at the moment, and has a propensity to keep keep it a bit short, having said that, its his debut and taking a 5 fer is impressive.

good thing is that he was consistently getting a little seam movement, and his best ball wasnt even in the clip, hit the perfect length and got it to nip away just a tad to get khalid usmans (i think) outside edge but was dropped in the slips.

Looks like a prospect. Hes going to gain invaluable experience in the remaining games of the season which will definitely help him improve his bowling further.

Certainly stands out. Like his energetic action. Gathers good momentum towards the delivery stride. Some are mentioning his height, but he looks taller than Nasim, for example. I like him.

Yes I thought he looked taller than Hasan Ali but need to see more closely

Naseem short legs leave a wrong impression he is not tall by any means but when he is with abbas or Imran Khan Sr he looks the same height as them and both these gusy have never been branded short I believe he is in between 5 9 and 5 10.

He is hard working lad with a good attitude. Has a wicket taking mindset and can move the ball both ways.
However, I dont believe he is international quality.
He will be a domestic performer, but doesn't have the natural talent that is needed for top level cricket.

Good start for his career he needs to work on his control keep working hard

Munir has told us his speed is around the 130 135 kph mark

We have people with crystal ball here. Judging a 19 yr old future on fc debut

He is as good a prospect as there can be the energy in his run up to the time he delivers is his most important attribute such intangibles separate the men from the boys imo and I feel Munir can be a success at top level.

Talent can only get you so far correct ?
If he has the attributes you stated surely he has a better of succeding than players who are only talent but nothing else ?

Any guesses about average pace?

I watched him bowl on TV. By naked eye my estimate is he was around the mid 130s. I dont think he was 140+. A very solid debut, seems to have a bright future atleast at the domestic level if he continues to work hard.

He doesn't have the effortless execution; a natural fluid shoulder action. This makes it really cumbersome to bowl quick, and such bowlers dont have very high ceilings.
A good example will be Aizaz Cheema who also couldnt create a lot of impact in international cricket but is a domestic great.

Thankyou for your analysis lets see how he does

You have a good eye for bowling talent, but this I disagree with you on. I don't see anything here that says his shoulder action isn't fluid. In fact, his action as a whole, along with the shoulder action is better than most at his stage of development. Also uses his body well and generates good momentum. I think he's a genuine prospect. But let's see; only time will tell.

Unfortunately couldnt get games for Northern after decent first 2 FC games. of his career. Not sure if it was something to do with fitness or just couldnt make it.

then how does Bumrah make it work?

He has good pace but his control is abysmal. Nowhere near ready for international cricket

then how does Bumrah make it work?

Bumrah has immense shoulder and core strength on top of a loose limbed and extremely flexible bone structure with hyperextendible joints.

It is because of these genetic gifts, that he can bowl quick from 4 paces and can also sustain it.

Bring someone else with the same exact mechanics, run-up that Bumrah has, and he wont be able to pull ot off, unless he is built like that.

I think he is neither supposed to be with 2 FC matches nor he or anybody will be with less than a couple of seasons. Thats the point of domestic cricket, players are supposed to learn and improve there however, current management loves fast tracking half cooked players to international cricket.

Why isn't he playing right now is my question. It's not as if northern has legends playing for them at the moment. They don't have a single fast bowler worth noting.
