im guessing another mauka mauka rendition?

Hahaha, there's one Pakistan falls behind India at and that is the quality and creativity of their ads.

MenInG Abdullah719 @mods - any chance you can see why the YouTube video isn't appearing properly in the OP please?

No where close to the class and artistry of mauka mauka. I get it had hit a nerve in Pakistan, with rebuttals etc created as well, but it was a an epic ad nonetheless. This is okish - didn't like the music as well

Btw, whats moh?

This time Indians are more vocal of the clash whereas I haven't seen the usual diatribe from the Pakistani media or players

Given our history against India in major events our media and Pakistanis in general should keep a low profile.

just some additional info

Well the GUY in this ad is a KASHMIRI namely ABRAR ZAHOOR and my neighbour as well.... he has featured in a bollywood movie as well.....

Came to a mall near my home couple of months ago, apparently did some graduation or something in Chennai.

Good ad but doesn't have that "tarka" of the mauqa mauqa ad, needs more spice and controversy.

I think, appropriate word for MOH is lust - desire can be for noble cause as well, but Moh indicates the immoral gratification. Appropriate meaning is probably desire for "Bhog Bilash".

This one is a fantastic ad - perfectly explaining the mojo of a IND-PAK clash. I think, after Angrego ki Ghanti, Aane do & Mouka, Indian ad agencies also has got careful. Such ads are a campaign on some theme - it takes lots of thinking, idea & money to make it perfect. Problem is, best ads are often sarcastic or humorous, but it has to be backed by performance. Angrego ki ... & Ane do .. was two master pieces, but both came as a big slap - if I can recall correctly, after Mumbai Test, frequency of Angrego ki ... reduced drastically & after Eden Test, they actually stopped it; same was for Ane do ... after 1st & 2nd ODI.

Both times, it was a massive loss for the air time & production cost. It's good to see that this ad is keeping things balanced - instead of sarcasm to opponent (team), they have built the theme on glorifying the event itself (IND-PAK clash), in a humorous way. Very good ad - they'll able to continue on this theme, regardless of the match result; because whoever wins, the event will always remain as a MOH ............

Shoot location is Leh in J&K (probably the Shanti Stupa), fabulous place - was there last week

I don't get the meaning of this ad?

What was this guy trying to do? :13:

Lol yeah but the gist of it is good have to say

I'm guessing it's something like 'worldly activities'?Not sure though.

It means desire or greed for materialistic goods.

Desire is more accurate, or fascination... you can have "moh" for person in addition to materialistic things.

I think, appropriate word for MOH is lust - desire can be for noble cause as well, but Moh indicates the immoral gratification.

Ahh, I see.

Alright, thanks for that.

Good ad, makes sense now. :)) Though a bit too boring for my liking; mauka was straight up annoying but I must admit it was a spicy, well-made ad. :srt

Moh is actually a sanskrit word but often used in Hindi language which stands for:
charm
fascination
love
affection...
the ad has a different meaning.... the guy wants to leave everything and become a monk... as in Buddhism u have to leave every materialistic thing and even ur family in order to connect with ur lord....
he leaves everything behind but cant leave this (ind vs pak) MOH...... :yk2

Given the kind explanation from a few posters regarding the advertisement I understand what it's saying however, it not something that clicked for me. Mauka Mauka was a definitely better tbh.

Everyone is this thread gave wrong definition of 'Moh'. It means worldly attachment. Whereas desire can be good in some cases.

There are 5 thieves in Sikhism - These are kaam (lust), krodh (rage), lobh (greed), moh (worldly attachment) and ahankar (arrogance/ego). It is the primary aim of the practicing Sikh to subdue these five inner vices and render them inactive. The actions of one's mind should be above, beyond and without interference from these five inner evils.

Budhists, Jains and Hindus have similar virtues.

Might sound like a silly question, but I've seen a lot of Indian adverts where they say 'Mauka Mauka' Especially when facing Pakistan. Can someone explain what they mean by it?

Not a silly question at all. When the Indian adverts say, 'Mauka Mauka', Mauka translates into Moment. So since Pakistan has never beaten India in World Cups (currently stands at 11-0 I think), Star Sports runs an ad saying that nows the moment for Pakistan to finally beat India.

The ads show a Pakistani suppourter who vigorously follows his team and whenever the time comes to vs India, he is always left frustrated because they lose every team. Basically, its good humour and is taunting Pakistan to change this record and that now is the moment

Moh ad is very good and neat but the other which I have not seen anywhere but here is of bad taste not funny at all.

this is not world cup since Pakistan is ahead in CT so Mauka ad doesnt make sense. I think Mauka is not moment but opportunity.

That makes perfect sense now. Thank you!

Such a lame one, forget about humor, it was completely illogical.

Stupid ad. Completely senseless. Pakistani shown with zero self-belief. Indian shown as someone who is oozing with confidence. Then words like "SIRgical Strike" makes it peak Jingoistic ad.
