[VIDEO] Pakistani police's use of violence against civilians

I was watching this video from the 3rd T20 in Lahore.

Why is there a big culture of police slapping and punching people in public? Do they not understand they as police are there to protect and serve the public.

Or is it because Pakistan is backward in this regard?

Have you been a victim to police brutality?

The same questions for Indians, as I suspect the police very much the same there?

Those police officers should be suspended immediately and a proper investigation should take place.

Police is the same here they are corrupt and target the poor.. If someone is from an affluent kal family the police cower before them and lick his/her behind.. Ofcourse there are some good policemen but overall it's the same in entire sub continent..

First they were beaten in public thn they were arrested for chanting Go Nawaz Go so they had to spend last night in police station. Most of them are released now thanks to PTI leader and MPA from Lahore Murad Raas.

Good to hear. I hope they weren't beaten inside the police station too.

I dont understand why they cant arrest someone without slapping or punching them? Also do you know if in KPK under PTI the police have changed their ways in this regard?

KP police is far better and improved if you compare them to Punjab/Sindh police they are doing lot of reforms and IGP is given more power instead of CM or MPAs.

Yes they only seem brave in front of the poor/weak. In India if you refuse to pray a bribe they do resort to violence?

Most of them are unfit as well, they should all be sacked for negligiance to health, need some stricter requirements for police, minimum of 10 in bleep test would be a start.

So the Police break the law and Nooras are happy. What did these people do wrong? If they invaded the pitch or disrupted then the full force of the law needs to be used but they chanted against a corrupt evil guy and his family.
