Pakistan Cricket Board Unveils Star Nation Jersey for ICC Cricket World Cup 2023

Lahore, August 28, 2023: The Pakistan Cricket Board unveiled the Star Nation Jersey today at a grand ceremony held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The ceremony, led by Mr Zaka Ashraf, Chairman of the PCB Management Committee, marked a significant step as the national team prepares for the forthcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

Light green isn't as menacing as dark green so I see why they went with the latter. Also, the dark green highlights the players better on the ground.

Even Pakistan's flag is dark green.

Kit is OK. They could have also gone with a retro type light green 1999 Kit like Aussies and England did with 1992 kits in the past, those 1999 kits were just awesome for all the teams!!

Don’t think I can put his name here, but he’s easy to find on Twitter. Seeing his previous concepts it’s clear that someone within the PCB has directed him to use dark green only.

If you’re telling me you’d pick this kit over the likes of 99 then we have a serious problem.

Also, it’s not just the colour but the cheap polyester fabric. Look at the collar man, it looks like latex smh

… which is only your opinion… so one can disagree with it. Dark green is our color. And there have been plenty of kits that looks better than our 99 one.

I was thinking something similar. The kit in the OP looks like a replica version rather than the authentic version worn by players.

But the thing is, in cricket, or at least for Pakistan kits, the 'players' jersey is the exact same as the 'fans' jersey.

So I would say this kit is good, But I like 2019 and even the T20 one last year better.

Im gonna have to agree that this jersey is quite bland and dull for me. Perhaps its because the green colours in this jersey are too heavy of a combination of dark and acryllic(?) green. And the star outline shape is not very evident since its too much on the outside. The material of the shirt looks off also.

so many things are just falling apart for Pakistan at the wrong time smh...
