[VIDEO] PML-N leader Hina Pervaiz Butt and son heckled in London

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz's (PML-N) leader Hina Parvez Butt has decided to take legal action today (Tuesday) against the assaulters, who harassed and abused her in London.

The former lawmaker was harassed by a bunch of, presumably, supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), who taunted and heckled her on a private family excursion in London.

Video of the incident showing the assaulters throwing a bottle and hurling abuses at Butt, drew severe condemnation from Twitterati.

Following the incident, the PML-N leader has decided to take up the matter with the London police and press charges against the perpetrators.

It may be noted that Butt was with her son when she was attacked.

In another video of the incident, a man who was part of the mob, could be seen carrying a PTI flag and hurling abuses at Butt, while her son was clearly disturbed.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter on Monday, Butt lashed out at her assaulters and wrote: "Rude and unruly PTI people have stooped to the extent of assaulting me in front of my son in London, throwing bottles at me and hurling foul abuse at me.

"Are these uncivilised people making Pakistan's name bright or defaming it?"

As the video went viral, condemnations poured in on social media, terming the act reprehensible. Many users felt that despite the political grievances that people may have, such acts were taking things too far.

Several users on the microblogging site, including politicians and journalists, severely condemned the incident.

This is not the first time such an incident has occurred, as previously former information minister Marriyum Aurangzeb was also heckled in a coffee shop last year in September.

Former planning minister Ahsan Iqbal too faced such treatment at the hands of PTI supporters.

This shameless woman was purring and laughing when news of women attacked, abused and detained in Pakistan but now she changes her tune.

What are these clowns doing the UK anyway? Maybe she came to help Nawaz with his morning workout.

The so called former Prime Minister Shabaz Sharif has also taken to twitter over this. There are so many issues in Pakistan but supporting and protecting their fellow friends seems to be what they care about.

Firstly the Met Police are only for London. Secondly in public you are allowed to protest and air your views, inc filming and recording. You clearly dont understand what harrasement is, or you do as much as you understand what is happening in Pakistan.

Hurling profanities and throwing objects at a member of public is harrasment. That’s what PTI hoolagans did to this lady. I’m sure if there is a video of the people who did this, the police will be raiding their homes for an arrest.

Freedom of speech, as long as no threats to harm or kill. Throwing some garbage again isnt a huge crime. At worst a quick chat with the police , no raiding homes lol. Good tip ... UK is not Zardari/Sharif Pakistan.

I dont think Ill ever bump into these clowns but If I did, I have every right to protest or communicate. If I am threatned, I will then defend myself.

You and other crook supporters need to realise UK is not Pakistan. You wont ever see elderly women being slapped because they are holding PTI flags.

It's always a good indicator of where the leaders of respective nation hides their assets, where else would you feel safest and most secure? No doubt there are a few Pakistan army generals in the USA, a few in Dubai, and of course the Sharifs have property in the UK.

They oversaw drone attacks by these countries on their own soil, can you imagine Pakistani missiles ever being allowed to fall on Texas or Wales?

According to reports Butt is worth $5 million but has only ever been in politics? Stolen loot from Pakistan shipped to UK where she thinks she can wonder in and out of Marks & Spencers buying dodgy trousers for Nawaz in peace...but not the case.

I wouldnt be surprised if they made some wealth people targets in the North, to take their cash after droned.

There are theives like Ali Baba and there are thieves like the Zardaris and Sharifs, their minions are 4000. What is most absurd they have minions who are broke, surviving day to day without their masters buying them roti & daal.

Just go back 16 months and we had no rebellion, PK was stable, economy was growing at 6%, terrorism was under control, we had dealt with CV the best in the World and the Rp was at 172, exports had grown by a 1/3rd and the country was on the up. So tell me who caused the chaos and why? Who wanted revenge on PK and why? IK offered an election but someone stopped it, why?
As i said the mafia don't even pretend( Khawaja Asif statement told a story) but you obviously didn't get the message.

Do you think this shows that society has regressed? I would love to know what you think about the women(and their relatives) arrested in Pak for the sole reason of attending PTI protests. Any thoughts on the 10,000+ people arrested in Pak for supporting PTI? Who else to ask these questions than an indian who knows nothing about Pakistani politics?

If you didn't know that the events I mentioned took place then you should avoid commenting on these threads.

There are other ways of showing your ignorance.

What exactly has he said that’s wrong? How is it ok to Harrass women and children? What does that have to do with Hindustani or Pakistani culture? It’s simply not on. But it’s hard to explain that to PTI youths, maybe they are happy for that to happen to their families? Is that PTI culture?

Here comes the outrage merchant. Feel any shame knowing how hypocritical you are? How can someone have no problem with women and children getting arrested without a warrant or a cause and yet complain about a guy yelling at one of the enablers of the tragedies I've mentioned?

I didn't see you keeping this same energy when 100+ people were killed during the PTI protests.My bad for expecting logic or reasoning from an outward fascist defender.

Also, ask your Indian friend "Bahijann" about the Hindustani culture thing since he seems to be hung up on it. Better yet, you two can start a new thread about your culture and discuss it amongst yourselves. Don't derail this thread with that nonsense.

Well you can’t expect the police to not come and clamp down on you regardless of gender post 9th May. If you thought it was ok to damage public property and cause civil unrest….you pay the price (a jail sentence). PTI women are empowered which is great to see, but they also have to face the law equally for their choice of actions.

100 people were killed in PTI protests? Why did they turn violent in the first place? Don’t worry, I’ll read up on it and find the reason why things got out of hand. Judging by PTI members aggression and inability to control their emotions, I’m guessing things got well out of hand and unfortunate incidents occurred.

More than 10,000 are arrested(most weren't involved in the protests) and you have the gall to say that it was in the interest of Pakistan to arrest them? It's in the interest of Pak to arrest corrupts like the Nawaz family, the Zardari family, and Maulana Diesel. These are the people that have cost Pakistan more than 100s of billions of dollars throughout its history. Those protesters aren't the ones that have a history of stealing flood aid.

When your currency loses its value by 100% and inflation is more than 30% officially(probably around 50% in reality), then you can expect protests. And for the record, the protests in Pakistan have been relatively peaceful for the amount of incompetence people have had to endure over the past year.

In what type of protest do 10k+ people get arrested? And why is it that these people get released from prison as soon as they shun Imran Khan?

Develop a conscious and reevaluate yourself. It's hard to integrate into most societies with such a fascist way of thinking.

The father was arrested, the kid couldn’t be left unaccompanied. Maybe his family came to the police station to pick him up. But reports won’t show that side of it because it doesn’t sell

On one hand, you are sensitive to the "pain" of two people and on the other hand, you are purposefully blind to the pain of millions. Going as far as to defend the oppressors. A very weird internal conflict must be happening in your brain or you are just a hypocrite, the latter is the likely answer.

Someone that supports a government-sponsored crackdown on innocent people shouldn't be asking anyone to condemn anything. You know what they say, don't throw rocks from glass houses.

So when PTI workers were attacked in their own homes you were happy. Remember those days you telling Rana the Qatil will do this and that. Remember when you called Arshad Sharif a coward, did he not have children, does IRK not have children.

Nawaz Sharif
Shahbaz’s son
PMLN security staff
Maryam Aurangzeb
Nawaz Sharif Grandsons
Maryam Safdar
Hina Parvez Butt
Nawaz Sharif’s deceased mother (Astaghfirullah)
PMLN workers on their way to work or going home.

All the evidence is available to see on the internet. When will the abuse stop?

As we live in the UK, did they break a single law, anyone jailed for attacking these precious people. I await your response with anticipation.



So lets see answer the point- is it OK for the state to attack its own people? Is it OK for the state to kidnap its own people? Is it OK for the state to kill its own people?

Quite easily, you don't get physical. It's got laws and if laws are broken these losers from PK that have looted a poor country are welcome to use them. I hope its not too complicated for you.🤣🤣🤣🤣

So back to PK. Is it OK to kidnap, attack people, kill them and lock them up without trial or not. Why do you go tuss when such simple questions are posed. Are you so slowly or lack the moral fibre to condemn state violence..where is IRK, why was Arshad killed?

All i have seen is NSs body guards attacking people and if they have got physical You have the right to use the police and courts. Can you tell me the number of injured and dead and kidnapped after these crooks have been Physically attacked 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why not use them.

On the other hand in PK its the state that is using horrific violence. Who killed Arshad Sharif and kidnapped IRK. Why do run off like a child who has no answer
