After 17 years of speculation, the infamous IPL 2008 "slapgate" between Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth has finally surfaced on video—raw, awkward, real, and showing Bhajji’s flash of temper and Sreesanth’s stunned reaction post-match.

What was once folklore is now history—and cricket fans are reliving one of the wildest off-field moments in IPL memory.

Apparently, this video is one that has never been seen before. I hope you guys remember what happened between Sreesanth and Harbhajan some years ago.

From what I recall, Sreesanth provoked him during or after the match, and in response Harbhajan slapped him, after which Sreesenth started crying lol. I have always viewed Harbhajan as a bit of a clown and a racist. He always seemed to be in the middle of controversies and generally seemed very thin-skinned. Sreesanth was a wannabe tough guy but I don't recall him ever getting physical with someone like this.

Aggression and ethics are two different things. Slapping someone publicly (despite whatever happened), knowing the footage may go viral worldwide and will be remembered for years, is not aggression. That's badtameezi.

The person who commits the violence will always be to blame. Anger, bad words, sledging is all part of cricket, but raising hands on someone is crossing limits.

Turned out to be a weak backhand that barely even connected. Honestly disappointing. With all the hype, I expected Bhajji to have landed a proper slap.

How is this new footage? Pretty sure this did the rounds at the time. Maybe a subset of it. Even so, this new footage shows nothing remarkable.
