Other than Black Panther this was the other comic book character who I’ve wanted to see on the big screen in his own movie since I was a kid.

Sad that budget is low for the film but looks interesting. Nice to see Riz Ahmed in this as well.

The teaser from few months back showed almost nothing, got excited when I saw the extended

Looks cool. Venom is powerful super hero and Spider-Man's most dangerous enemy.
There is dedicated venomverse in marvel comics featuring other similar alien symbiote like carnage and toxin.

A Venom movie without Spider-Man and other Spider-Man characters.Sony should try to get this in the MCU.

Tom Hardy is such a good actor,would have liked him as the MCU's Wolverine.

This version of Venom is prolly going to be the anti-hero portrayed in Marvel comics in 90's.

Would love to see Venom v Carnage in this movie.

I thought in the comics Venom was Spidey's foe.... no signs of Spidey in the trailers. Also love Tom Hardy the actor, seriously underrated.

Exited for venom hope they keep the movie dark and edgy & don't spoil it with mcu's kiddies humour.
Vfx feels average in the trailer other than that it looks great.
If this movie becomes hit then sony can make venom verse by introducing other alien symbiotes like carnage,riot,agony etc. And finally when MCU's kid Spider-Man growups they could bring him in for cool spider-man movie again.

Venom Is antihero. They will definitely bring spidey but in future movies when spidey grows up.

Yeah although manchild Topher Grace played the character which made it about as harmless and menacing as Mickey Mouse. Once they did get to the CGI you couldn't get over the fact who was behind the mask.

There is no Spiderman because this does not take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.Marvel did not allow Sony to use Spiderman in this movie.

Thus,this version of Eddie Brock has not met Peter Parker and the symbiote has not yet bonded with Spiderman.That is also why there will not be a spider sign on Venom's chest.

Venom deserves a Logan-like movie.Awesome character.

But I don't think there will ever be a Venomverse.All the rights will revert back to Marvel Studios,eventually.

Critics gave it mixed reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed it, can't wait for Venom 2 with Carnage.
