Is this the first time a foreign cricket team has been hosted by an Aussie PM ? Indian cricketers are getting too much attention in my opinion...
 
Kohli and his wife think they are the most special and standout couple among the entire Indian team. There is Virat-Anushka and then there are other couple on the other side.

Both husband and wife are celebrities in India, that's the reason.
 
I would be very annoyed if I was a member of the Indian team and only the captain was allowed to bring his wife.
 
The PM recalls that Parthiv Patel had toured in early 2000s as well !

Both of them are celebrities in India and elsewhere wherever cricket and Bollywood movies are followed.
 
Virushka is my second favourite couple, right after nickyanka. they look so adorable! oh, and taimur too.

Really ? I dont think it happened last year or the year before, matter of fact I don't know when it happened last ? Can you advise when this happened last when a touring cricket team visited Australia... Thanks..

Exactly, not just that; Kohli is one of the greatest batsman of all time and Anushka has led the way as Bollywood's biggest female star in the last few years in my view; she is like Rani Mukaji, Maduri Dixi and Ashwariya Rai in the new era. It's a blessing because I don't feel the same way about any of the new guys because no one has been able to take the torch away from the likes of SRK, Aamir and Salman.
 
I was dragged to see 'Zero' last week, and my opinion of Anushka Sharma has hit rock bottom. Her acting was a joke on cerebral palsy patients worldwide.

Ishant, Parthiv etc brought their wives too.

But yeah Kohli does get special treatment at times when it comes to his OH.

I've never personally been too fascinated by new stars. SRK has remained by favorite since the 90's, though I love Amir and Salman as well. DDLJ steals my heart every time I watch it, even now.

Happens every year usually.

On Pakistan’s last tour it happened as well and I’m sure happens every ashes atleast and other series too

Incidentally Kohli sunk 50 crores in a Ranbeer-Anushka movie long before they got married . I think it was Bombay Velvet .

I do agree with that generally speaking, although I think Anushka stands out from the current crop for me and has been involved in some gems like Sultan, Rab De Bana Jodi, PK and Pari which show her pedigree.

Make sure you watch Pari to see what she's about, she does accept many masala scripts but that's the name of the game in this era isn't it, that's the current style in bollywood right now but in between you will get gems and more often then not she will be the female lead as she has the tools to make it work compared to other talent. Same here, I don't even know who the other male stars are SRK is still my favourite and look out for the stuff he does which has decent reviews alongside Aamir and Salman.
 
Good to see the boys wearing khadee Nehru jackets but why are some players breaking the dress code? Very bad.
 
To be honest, Virushka as a couple doesn't really excite me, its not really a case of two people being drop dead gorgeous like Brangelina for e.g.

Kohli is like England's Beckham many years back. All rules are broken for him it seems. In his defence he does perform more often then not.

Its' a recognition that cricket is important in India, so how would you quantify Indian cricketers getting too much attention?
