I won't call it lack of education, manners or media handling.

Its simply cheap tactics to get you in limelight quick. You are aware of your limited potential and only way to come to the headlines fast is by making these ludicrous statements.
 
He's going to get slaughtered.
If not by Kohli, then by Rahane,Rohit, Raina, and Dhoni.

Yes he bowls some half tracker but from where did you get the idea that he bowls exclusively half trackers ?
People seriously underrate Junaid.When he was totally fit he was the top pacer in the SL Test tour,speaking of recent performances.He has knack of seaming the new ball appreciably at good pace (he is not a trundler) and is a good death bowler and possibly the most accurate of the Pak bowlers.The recent poor matches have been due to the absence of Junaid, in part.
 
It's almost confirmed now that sohail the mighty khan is going to play against kohli wohli :p
 
Did he take the two wickets v proper batsmen? I missed his last few overs.
 
I dont think Virat has any chance against Pak bowlers . if not Sohail , Irfans bounce will trouble Virat , if not for that Eshan Adil swing is going to take him out , thats a given considering how poor Virat is against bounce and swing .

he bowled ok today. nothing special apart from the ball he bowled to butler. a cracker jack of a delivery. quick yorker which hit the base of off stump.
 
Looks like he will play against India.

Sohail Khan vs Virat Kohli. Either Sohail is going to escape with decent figures because someone else got Kohli early or he will be brutally murdered by Virat's masterclass.

He was bowling around 133, it seems his pace has dropped since his debut.

yup not enough pace . the odd ball did touch 140 but generally he was around 133-135kph. hopefully he wasn't putting in full effort due to injury.
 
good answer by Sohail, what else is he supposed to say, we all know Kohli is a good batsmen- I dont need our fast bowlers praising him as well
 
Sohail is like lalA. Dont compare him with akhtar. Akhtar was a very different person.
 
This will be fun. Virat, if he knows about him, will do his best to make him regret saying it. Hopefully.
He seems to thrive under this kind of a provocation. Like Javed Miandad.

I think Kohli will be more relieved he will not have to face his nemesis Jaunied Khan.

Junaid is not half the bowler now. Also the conditions in Australia will be 10 times tougher to bowl on.

Ppl overrate junaid. U r right he is a nothing bowlers. Bowling half trackers after half trackers. It was just his good luck against kohli.

Bending his back too, bowling 137 pace while he usually bowls at 133.

Of all the bowlers bowled today, Sohail Khan looked most likely to get wicket every ball. He has been impressive with his line and length despite with not so express pace.
 
Last world cup it was Gul who was making big statements before the match and now Sohail Khan :facepalm:

Bowled well. Three back to back boundaries from raina won't change it. Looked a lot better than Wahab and Irfan.
