[VIDEO] What can Indians learn from Chinese people?

The claim that China “discourages” or “bans” religion is largely a misconception. China has preserved some of the world’s oldest mosques and maintains active religious institutions across multiple faiths. Those who choose to practice generally do so without interference.

Meanwhile, the idea that the West offers significantly greater freedom is another convenient narrative, one that tends to get louder whenever Western powers feel threatened or unable to compete with China’s rise.

No country is perfect, but China is clearly moving into a league of its own.
While there's plenty to admire about China, I think it's absurd to say they don't supress things like religion and political discussion. Whether this is good or bad is debatable and your mileage may vary but it's clear lack of division on such matters has helped economic progress.

Setting aside anecdotal evidence (chats with friends), the very fact that people are willing to admit they do some religious things but not willing to admit they have a religion is a clear indicator.

Only 10% will acknowledge they have a religion which I believe is pretty unlikely given the evidence of the rest of the world.

On the whole though, as long as you don't make a big fuss about religion like say asking for religious holidays or asking to pray during work hours, nobody's going to poke into personal beliefs and you're free to do what you want in your private time.

What can Indians learn from Chinese:

1) Being self-accountable.
2) Being efficient.
3) Time management.
4) Minding own business.
5) How to be a military powerhouse (actual powerhouse; not fake Bollywood powerhouse).
6) How to be an economic giant (actual giant; not fake giant).
7) How to be model immigrants in foreign countries.
8) How to lead in AI and renewable energy sectors.

What can Chinese learn from Indians:

1) How to cook foods.
2) How to play cricket.

That's it. :inti
What can Bangaldesh learn from every other country in the world except Paksitan?

Not to be a loser and not to compare a second country with another.

1. Hard to bring accountability in 3 billion people across two countries. It's individual. Maybe fix accountability for killing millions with Wuhan virus first.

2. India can be more efficient and learn from Chinese.

3. We can be more time cognizant.

4. Very wrong to say Chinese mind their own business. We should learn from West .

5. India actually has experience dominating wars against weaker nations...and after 62 to deter China from any misadventure. It is China after humiliating defeat to Vietnam and Japan that is the paper tiger..massive military on paper but can't dominate against other nations like Japan Korea Phillipines Vietnam India etc.

6. India is a economic giant on its own right...but we are not where close to China and have a lot to improve our infrastructure and industry.. we need to be better and can learn a lot from China.

7. India's or the educated Indians in US are model immigrants with higher per capita income....it's not our problem that Canada made it open season to hire Khalistanis and lower skilled South Asians or UK to invite similar demographics.

8. We are far behind any thing innovative...so definitely can learn a lot.

9. You didn't add but endemic corruption is something we should stop by strict punishment.

The problem with @sweep_shot is that coming from a failed God foresaken country he has the audacity to comment on what India can or should learn...does not have the decency or the humility to add what all every other country could learn from China....maybe Bangladesh can first try to be India..

Have good education
Be upstanding immigrants
Be tolerant and democratic nation
Reduce violence and lawlessness
Have their own power and build their own ports
Have a space program.
Be self sufficient in agriculture and food
Develop an industry beyond garment

Stop being cringe in cricket and actually win something and not do the feminine Naagin dance

Don't need to have a army like India which is threatened in all directions by unsavory forces or like China which wants to threaten others....but be a economic juggernaut.

More than Chinese I feel we can learn from Brazilians, such a corrupt country and yet some of the most innovative people.

One of the Kalshi cofounders is from Brazil, Creator of Elixir programming language from Brasil.. insane how such a corrupt society still has many innovators.

Indian education is geared towards making kids grow into obedient clerks and desk job workers. Innovation is discouraged and creativity is frowned upon. Entrepreneurship is alien to most of them. Families discourage their youngsters from starting any company due to the fear of failure. It’s all about getting a good job, buy a house, a car and a beautiful and homely wife. In the case of young women, the situation is even worse.

The situation has changed a bit now. Youth are a bit more entrepreneurial. This is why I have high respect for Gujjus, Sindhis and Panjus. They are always into starting a business. Even among them, most do not start any tech company that has the potential to become a billion dollar company.

Take the example of Infosys, Wipro etc founders. They made money for the past 30 yrs with outsourced projects. Little to nothing was spent on research and innovation. Look at China. Similar family structures, but their youth have broken the familial and societal shackles. They have embraced modern tech and science as their religion. Their government is also fully focused on development. We can talk about how CCP owns or controls every business. But the development they have achieved is undeniable. Some of the videos on YouTube shows how far India is behind China. The gap is too wide and India will take 100 yrs to reach the same level as China.

Rant over 😴

Is it a culture thing though or an business environment thing ? I have a feeling China's top down dictatorship approach makes it easier for get businessmen to get past regulatory obstacles, compared to the bureaucratic hurdles and poor infrastructure that Indians entrepreneurs have to deal with.

Do you think proximity to US has helped them?

India and China have similar populations. Both also have large landmasses.

So, why is India 4-5 times behind China?

Answer lies in mindset. Chinese believe in self-accountability while Indians bury their hands in the sand. Indians think India is already #1 and no improvement is needed.

Even during wars, average Indians think India always win without losing any soldier/jet which is absurd. How can they improve if they do not acknowledge their losses/shortcomings? :inti

Average Indians are also 20%-25% less intelligent than average Chinese as evident from average IQ scores.
completely agree with you, but would say the avaerage indian is more than 20-25% less intelligent than the India, i mean the hygeine levels are worlds apart,
