Which one was better?

Are you excited about seeing these 2 bowling in the ODI series and possibly in the World Cup?

Without being biased I would say Shaheen’s was a better yorker in traditional sense, with nice line and length (Targeting the toes) and ball dipping back in with bit of reverse.

Archer one was a decent one but it was pretty straight and batsman completely misjudged it. I rate Archer pretty highly but havent seen him reverse the ball yet which is important in all formats if anything is there to extract.

I swear Shaheen used to bowl around 130-135. Looks like his pace has increased a bit. But jofra has more pace so his Yorkers are more aesthetically pleasing. But i think Jofra isn't as good as SSA in List a matches .

Yes his pace has increased from when he first started. Against NZ in UAE he touched 148 kph and has the ability to ball at high pace. In SA just like many others he struggled a bit in terms of pace as the grounds and surfaces are not very easy to adapt especially on your first tour. In PSL again he was bowling decent pace but definitely needed rest which he has got in last couple of months.

Expecting him to give some good performances against Eng and in WC.

I would have to say Jorfa looked more impressive but regardless Shaheen bowls them great too

Both look weirdly same to me. Like a ractangular pixeleleted still image of frowny face. :(

archer have extreme pace while shaheen is just fast medium.Archer have more lethal yorker due to speed

Was that really a Yorker by Shaheen? He ball indeed moved into batsman in air and beat him at ankle height; which is the impressive for County backup level batsmen, but don’t think it was a proper Yorker.

Shaheen is not fast medium, he's fast (140-150) whereas Jofra Archer is express (150+).

Afridi's one is aesthetically pleasing due to his wonderful left handed action and the ball coming back in but I reckon Joffra's Yorker would be tougher for a batsman to negotiate due to sheer pace.

A fast full blooded yorker by a tall guy is more harder to pick by a batsman.

Playing these videos never works for me. Does other have same issue?

Archers was easier to dig out as it was pretty straight. Afridis was sliding into leg and although not a proper yoker it was near enough. Digging out a ball which is dips late and bends in towards leg stump is very difficult.

Shaheen is fast in t20 format where he bowls above 140 most of the time .In odis his average speed hover around 138 to 140 so in odis he is still fast medium .By no means he won,t increase speed in coming years potential is there but in odis he is slower compare to t20s

Afridi's yorker wiped the floor with Archer's solely because of how it tailed in late. Any good batsmen would have trouble playing it. Archer's yorker was a straight ball just missed by the batsman.

Seeing some nice ones from Shaheen Shah Afridi today
