Today we saw a competition between Kohler Cadmore and Imad Wasim. It seems like Imad Wasim lost due to lack of support from Ben Cutting who only managed 9 off 8 at a crucial moment.

Let’s see I think both teams have a strong outfit.

KK just need to get the right combination in, Wade, Cutting and Tye. Not so sure. There was nothing for Imran but he bowled full tosses.

Mohd Nawaz is a better bowler but he failed Pakistan in the World cup. Mohd Nawaz had no role in the T20 side, he wasn't bowling and his Batting was pedestrian. When Pakistan needed him like in the final he failed.

Lately Mohd Nawaz was tried as an allrounder against England in tests on spinning wicket but he proved to be useless. Mohd Nawaz has value but not in a weak batting line up.
Imad brings far more value to the side than Mohd Nawaz does. Imad is untried in Test matches but for white ball he is fine.

These days you can be the best bowler in the world and some incy wincy guy can make a meal out of you in a T20. Bat sizes, small boundaries, due factor and big hitting training has made this a batter’s game. Remember Shaheen was sent to the cleaners by a nobody called Wade.

Imad’s clutch performances always come in big games. He has limitations no doubt both as a batter and bowler but he knows how to maximise his potential more than anyone I know in the current Pakistan squad. He is smart. He is the natural captain in white ball for the next 3-4 years.

We had groupings in the past and the outcome was 2009 spot-fixing scandal. Thanks to Misbah, Waqar and then Mickey Arthur continuing the good work on the discipline front, they tackled the trouble makers and brought players in line. We just got lax recently under Saqi

In ODIs, I certainly agree that he's not a long term option, I think we should bring him back merely for the World Cup in India later this year. We need our best players and I think his presence will be crucial if we're going to make it the latter stages of the tournament.
