No I'm asking you what do you want him to do when Haider, Cutting etc are out there batting?
If they are the best karachi can send out there then they are doomed for another season

You are avoiding the question and the point.
I asked you what can Imad do when the likes of Haider Ali and Ben Cutting have the bat in hand. Can he bat for them?
The question becomes who is responsible for selecting Haider, Malik and Cutting? Imad and Wasim placed the entire blame for the last season on Babar and replaced him with Haider and Malik. Now, Imad and Co have the team they wanted yet Karachi continues to lose. Who's to blame for that? Certainly not Babar as Peshawar is off to a good start.
You are stating the obvious regarding selection.
However the point is if Haider wasn't given a chance, people would be slating them for not giving him a chance.
When he's out there batting, he's played enough to know what to do, Imad cannot hold the bat for him.
Yes, but that goes for any captain. What captains can do, is to man manage and motivate their players to perform better than themselves. Imad isn’t exactly proving to be Alex Ferguson in the motivational department, is he?
As if Pakistan cricket is full of Alex Fergusons in the motivational department.
If we had those type of people then we wouldn't be in such a mess at the national level.
That is not in doubt, however Imad’s PR machine had rewritten history about him being this great captain, this immense mentality monster. I don’t doubt that he can personally motivate himself and kudos to him.
However, he has not shown anything to suggest that he’s a great captain or even a good one.

no need. he is not a batsman, he is a spinner. He cant even spin the ball. hes useless.
He cant hold the bat for them but he can as captain either get the best out of them or bench them which he isnt doing
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results
Karachi picked haider ali as a platinum pick and Imad before the tournament was talking a great game as captain
Last year babar was blamed for the failure of the team so should imad accept responsiblity for the failure and these silly decisions this year?
Imad unsurprisingly showed some frustration in the post match interview saying we should have won it and shown game awareness. I think was referring to Cutting hitting the ball straight down to long on’s throat when you need 6 from 4.
As I said, if he didn't play Haider Ali, you'd be the first to say why hasn't he given Haider Ali a chance. Now that he's giving Haider Ali a chance, you are saying he shouldn't play him.
Make up your mind.
We don't have any great captains.
The guy who is captaining us in all 3 formats is hardly a great or good captain.
Standards are very low.
Ok, whilst acknowledging Imad’s immense personal performances, let’s frame it this way:
Do you think Imad has outcaptained Babar in this PSL, by a large margin? Do you think he’s out captained any of the others?
I’m willing to ignore results and give credit for intelligent bowling changes, motivating players to be the best version of themselves, aggressive field placings. Has Imad shown any of this?
Without resorting to whataboutism, do you think Imad has shown anything to suggest a wide differential Vs Babar, given the above criteria?
Was it not cowardly of Imad Wasim to only bowl 2 overs today?
Looks like he saw Rizwan on the rampage and thought 'no thanks'.
Not a great message to his team that the captain prefers to lead from the back and send everyone else in as fodder.
Interesting observation. Was travelling so didn’t see this but very cowardly indeed. He is the first to bowl his quota when wickets go down. Very cowardly and he is protecting himself to get in contention for national selection again. Total coward and toxic personality who should be kept away from the team.
Imad choked again as usual and was hiding himself in bowling. A gutless cricketer. The drama of him being a good batsmen will soon be over. In fact he was also one of the reason they lost today as he was going at a run a ball against proper bowlers.

I think he has been the player of the tournament so far. But his inability to finish off matches is concerning. Especially since that is the role he will likely be playing if he ever makes it back to the Pakistan team.
His bowling aside (His T20 bowling was never under question), I always thought he could be a solid no 6 (Batting all rounder) considering the other options or lack of we have had especially if we consider that we will have Shadab and Nawaz to follow. That would give 3 spin bowling options as well as good batting depth to go with 3 seamers. Him coming but up the order has allowed him to showcase his batting more which I believe has been underutilized and he has underachieved in.

Cutting, Malik and Haider at the other end have been striking at 100, but still Imad should strike at 500 to make up for the garbage players.
Imad to be blamed. He is match ka mujrim.
Thrashed around today. This time he didn’t have any other bowler to hide behind whilst the batting team is on a rampage. Selfish and mediocre player.
Imad gets to his fifty so not a total loss for him but poor from Karachi under him tonight vs PZ
You have been brainwashed by the softies on this forum

If Babar let the opposition reach 197/5 from 2/3, we would never hear the end of it.
Though, Imad's batting form is sensational.
Because Babar has made a career out of it. He’s done it numerous times. All Babar does is let the opposition off the hook once we have them on the ropes.
Imad is a one timer.
If i see Nawaz ahead of Imad in Pakistan colours next time, that would be the biggest fraud in history

In RED HOT form the Karachi skipper, if KK Do make it to the Play-Offs, it will only be because of Imad.
Scores pressure free runs. He does so in a highly appealing and entertaining way but they are still pressure free when the match is essentially lost.
Needs to back himself to come up the order.
Because of Imad's captaincy in the field, Karachi are looking at the possibility of not making it to the play offs;
Babar won the game with his captaincy on a pitch which was supposed to be a road.
Imad is a decent captain but he messed up big time and this could be costly.
He scored an ATG knock today.
I know you enjoy soft runs and soft cricket, everyone has their own thoughts and perspectives on life so I don't mind. But I'm different to you, I don;t back individual players or let ex-players consume 77% of my posts on PP. I back whats best for Pakistan.
Imad had to back himself more to take the game by the scruff of the neck rather than hide down the order.
He did exceptionally well today as I hoped he would and played elite cricket.
Imad usually has a tendency of bowling bad when he bats will, or bat poorly when he bowls well.
Today will be a big test. A good spell from him could give them a much needed win
If you really want what's best for Pakistan, it wouldn't have taken an age for you to give Imad his due credit.
I guess all the excuses had to run out at some point. Good to see you've acknowledged his innings for once without all the "pressure free" runs and "soft runs" remarks.
It's not my fault that you find it difficult to understand things.
I've been backing Imad on this forum for a long time.
However, good players need to be held to higher standards and he should come up the order and win games for his side.
I don't see anything wrong with that.
There is no way he isn’t coming back
There is no way he isn’t coming back
Imad is on a mission and that is captaincy of Pakistan. I would gladly trade the current guy out for someone half as talented as Imad.
Imad at 5 for Pakistan in t20s?
His bowling is pretty ordinary but he can play as a batting all rounder perhaps.
Imagine a line-up of:
Mohammad Haris
Fakhar Zaman/Rizwan
Babar Azam
Saim Ayub
Imad Wasim
Azam Khan
Shadab Khan
Mohammad Nawaz
Shaheen Afridi
Haris Rauf
Ihsanullah
