Congress has dropped Supriya Shrinate from elections.

Will sanghis dare to do that to it's own foul mouths, including feku himself?

Kangana is nothing else but an attention seeker. Her movies are flopping again and again, not getting work now and she is looking to make it into the news by saying bad stuff.

Making stupid statements to win the elections is a norm, I understand but this is too funny from a lady who is a nobody.

‘If Pakistan not wearing bangles…’: Kangana Ranaut jabs opposition

haratiya Janata Party's Lok Sabha election candidate Kangana Ranaut criticised the Opposition on Thursday over their ‘pro-Pakistan remarks’.

Ranaut, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from Mandi, said that if the neighbouring country does not wear bangles, India will make it wear them.

Recently, National Conference president Farooq Abdullah had reacted to defence minister Rajnath Singh's remarks that India will never give up its claim on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Abdullah dared Rajnath Singh to take back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, adding that “they (Pakistan) are also not wearing bangles”. Prior to this, an old video of Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar went viral last week, in which the Congress veteran urged the Indian government to “respect Pakistan” because it had atomic bombs.

Reacting to the Opposition leader's statement, Ranaut at a poll rally in Kullu said, "We know that Pakistan needs atta (flour) and electricity. But we were not aware that it does not even have bangles."

She added: “Wo (Opposition) kehte hain, Pakistan ne churian nahi pahni hain... arrey bhai, nahin pehni hai to hum pehna denge (They say Pakistan is not wearing bangles... if Pakistan is not wearing bangles, we will make them wear it),” according to PTI.

The actor-turned-politician also said India does not want an unstable and “weak Congress government” headed by “a frightened prime minister”.

She also said Modi would neither allow the Constitution to be tampered with nor grant reservations based on religion.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday had also said that India would make cash-strapped Pakistan wear bangles if it wasn't wearing any.

"Pakistan ne choodiyan nahi pehni hain, are bhai pehna denge. Ab unko aata bhi chahiye, unke pass bijli bhi nahi hai, ab humein maloom nahi ki unke pass choodiyan bhi nahi hai (If Pakistan is not wearing bangles, we will make them wear bangles. They don't have flour, they don't have electricity, now I have come to know that they even have a scarcity of bangles)," PM Modi said in Bihar's Muzaffarpur.

From Bollywood to Lok Sabha — Tracing Kangana Ranaut’s journey of bigotry and hate

Everyone knows who Kangana Ranaut is; you may know her from her roles in Fashion and Queen, or because of her controversial (an understatement) anti-minority, right-wing views, or most recently, you may know her because she just won the Mandi seat as a member of parliament (MP) from the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) in the Indian election.

But how did Ranaut transition from a controversial Bollywood starlet — who infamously picked fights with Hrithik Roshan — to an MP for potentially one of the most bigoted parties in the world? Let’s start at the beginning.

Born in Bhambla, Himachal Pradesh, Ranaut made her film debut in the 2006 thriller Gangster. Within a few years, Ranaut gained critical acclaim for her powerful portrayals of emotionally complex characters, especially for her role as a model addicted to cocaine in Fashion alongside Priyanka Chopra.

While her career went through highs and lows like any actor’s does, it was outside the realm of acting that Ranaut garnered attention from the media — negative and positive.

In 2016, Roshan filed a lawsuit against Ranaut for stalking him and allegedly sending him over 1,000 emails, most of them “senseless, personal, and absurd”. He also sought an apology from Ranaut for calling him her “silly ex”. The Tanu Weds Manu actor filed a lawsuit in response, claiming that Roshan was attempting to cover up his divorce and that he hacked into her mailbox to delete incriminating exchanges.

A little absurd, but nothing unheard of in the world of entertainment.

Perhaps one of the only slightly agreeable things Ranaut did was call out nepotism in the industry. After the suicide of Sushant Singh Rajput, Ranaut tweeted blaming nepotism and Bollywood insiders for driving the actor to his death. According to the BBC, she said he was an “outsider” like her who had no “godfathers” in the industry, and that powerful Bollywood families and directors had “systematically sabotaged” his career.

But even in sensitive situations, Ranaut could not rein her pessimism in, as she launched a smear campaign against Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty — whom his family accused of abetting his suicide — calling her “a small-time druggie who was living off a vulnerable and broken, self-made superstar”. While we’re all entitled to our opinions, defaming someone who had not been indicted by a court and did not hold the same power as Ranaut, was a harsh move. As Chakraborty faced online harassment from Indian journalists and social media trolls, Ranaut only fuelled the fire with her remarks.

Once labelled a feminist for her stand against the old Bollywood guard and her powerful roles, Ranaut’s misogyny was evident when she spoke of her women colleagues. She called Urmila Matondkar “a soft-porn star”, Sonam Kapoor a “mafia bimbo”, and Swara Bhaskar and Richa Chadha “B-grade actresses”.

“Kangana Ranaut is a fine actor who was once known for her craft and her courage, but has now allowed that courage to degenerate into self-promotion and sexist attacks on women she disagrees with and the single-minded pursuit of a right-wing agenda,” said journalist and film critic Anna MM Vetticad in an interview.

Good luck to Mandi residents to see this mad woman again.

She will never lead the country. She will be restricted to her small constituency. But what can we say about Lallus like Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka? Good luck to their constituency residents. Clown show on.

There isn't a bigger megalomaniac clown than feku to lead the country. If a feku like him can do that for so many years, any Tom, Dick and Harry can.

Hema Malini as well? Why?
Because she never visits her constituents despite being their MP for 10 years now except during elections.

She has been a total disaster for Mathura. Even Smriti aunty would have done more work in Amethi than this good for nothing MP.

How many times in a day will you use words like Feku in a day?

I don't like Gandhi pariwar at all. But I do not use pronouns like Lallu, Pappu to Rahul Gandhi every time I have to address them.

This means she is doing something right at least. Perhaps the rest of the options are full of total clowns?

Did you see her campaign this time. It consisted of going into the fields and doing a reel with some awkward village women.

She has consistently failed to even identify or have the mental capacity to verbalize issues facing her constituency.

She arrogantly recently dismissed the fact that she never meets the people of her constituency.

Just some I can remember now. It's something that has been building up over the last few months when I started paying attention to her.

They are trying to link it to Khalistan.

"Can Lose 1,000 Jobs For Mother's Respect": Cop Who Slapped Kangana Ranaut

Kulvinder Kaur - the airport security official suspended and arrested after she allegedly slapped actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut - struck a defiant note Friday, posting on X (formerly Twitter), "I am not afraid of losing this job... I am ready to lose thousands of such jobs for my mother's respect."

Ms Kaur allegedly slapped Ms Ranaut - who won Himachal Pradesh's Mandi seat - at the airport Thursday, while she was waiting to board a Delhi flight, and accused her of "disrespecting farmers".

Within hours she was suspended and an inquiry was ordered and, this morning Ms Kaur, a CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) Constable, was arrested.

On Thursday - after the video of the spat broke online - Ms Kaur said she reacted to a 2020 remark by the actor about protests against the Modi government's farm laws, which triggered a nationwide agitation that included tens of thousands of farmers barricading and blocking access to Delhi.

"She (Ms Ranaut) gave a statement... farmers are sitting for ₹ 100. Will she go and sit? My mother was sitting and protesting when she said this..." Ms Kaur said.

Farmers Step In To Support CISF Constable, Singer Vishal Dadlani Offers Help

A viral clip showed Ranaut escorted to a check-in counter where the altercation with Kaur took place. The video did not show the alleged slap.

Multiple farmer unions announced a protest rally to support CISF Constable Kulvinder Kaur, who allegedly slapped BJP MP-elect Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh Airport on Thursday, PTI reported. The protest, named the "Insaaf March," will take place in Punjab's Mohali on June 9. The farmers demanded no undue action against Kaur and called for a proper investigation into the incident.

Singer-composer Vishal Dadlani offered support to Kaur, promising to help her secure a job if any action was taken against her.

Dadlani expressed his support on Instagram, stating, "If any action is taken against her by the CISF, I will ensure that she has a job waiting for her should she choose to accept it".

We should find a way to give this CISF officer an award in the public interest. I'm willing to chip in if a collection campaign is started.
We should also honour the assassins of Indira. They were right in avenging the desecration of their holy place by Indira.

The lady assault on motormouth ranaut is fine and should be a lesson for her. Whether she learns from it or not is a question.

What is NOT fine, is that she is taking salary for proving security, had taken oath for commitment towards her duty, and she went against that. This is what the assassins of Indira too broke. Being paid to protect her, they killed her.

But fair enough, if you encourage it, let that become a norm. You should be fine with what Mumtaz Qadri, the bodyguard of Salman Taseer did. What bodyguards of Indira did. May this happen more. All gloves should be off.

Kangana Ranaut’s Lok Sabha election from Mandi challenged, HC issues notice

Pleading for setting aside the election of Ms. Ranaut, the petitioner says his nomination papers were wrongly rejected by the returning officer.

The Himachal Pradesh High Court on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, issued notice to Kangana Ranaut, the BJP Lok Sabha member from Mandi, on a petition filed by a Kinnaur resident for setting aside her election on the grounds that his nomination papers to contest from the Lok Sabha constituency were allegedly wrongly rejected.

Issuing the notice, Justice Jyotsna Rewal directed Ms. Ranaut to file a reply by August 21.

Ms.Ranaut had won from Mandi Lok Sabha seat, defeating her rival Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh by 74,755 votes. She had polled 5,37,002 votes against Singh's 4,62,267 votes.

Pleading for setting aside the election of Ms. Ranaut, the petitioner, Layak Ram Negi, maintained that his nomination papers were wrongly rejected by the returning officer (Deputy Commissioner, Mandi) and also made him a party.

Mr. Negi, an ex-employee of the forest department, said that he got premature retirement and produced a "no dues certificate" from the department along with nomination papers to the returning officer.

However, he was given a day to produce the "no due certificate" from the electricity, water and telephone departments and when he submitted them, the returning officer did not accept them and rejected the nomination papers.

He pleaded that he could have won the election had his papers been accepted and said that the election be set aside.

Kangana Ranaut calls Bollywood celebrities 'dumb': They can't talk beyond branded bags

Bollywood actor and politician Kangana Ranaut once again took a dig at Bollywood celebrities and their lifestyle. Saying that she can never be friends with any Bollywood celebrity, the actor said that they cannot talk beyond branded bags and cars. Kangana also described her experience of attending Bollywood parties as a "trauma" during a recent interview.

“I am not a Bollywood kind of person. I can’t be friends with Bollywood people for sure,” said Kangana on Raj Shamani’s podcast recently. She added, “They are so full of themselves. They are stupid, dumb and all about protein shakes. I have seen enough Bollywood people to know that.”

Kangana, 38, also criticised the routine and conversations of many in the film industry, labelling them as "grasshoppers" who lack depth and meaningful conversations. Describing the typical daily routine of some Bollywood celebrities, Kangana said, “If they are not shooting, their routine is: wake up in the morning, do some physical training, sleep in the afternoon, wake up, go to the gym and again sleep at night or watch TV. They’re like grasshoppers, totally blank. How can you be friends with such people?"

She continued, “They have no idea what’s going on where. They have no (meaningful) conversations. They just meet, drink and go, ‘Hey babe, what a bag! Oh my god, I love that bag.’ I would be shocked to find a decent person in Bollywood who can talk beyond branded bags and cars."

Kangana, who is awaiting the release of her film Emergency, further elaborated on her feelings about Bollywood parties, calling them “trauma.”

“The conversations that happen at Bollywood parties are embarrassing,” she said. The actor further mimicked a voice, representing such celebrities who discuss their schedules, body weights, diets, and dating rumours at parties. “It’s trauma... a Bollywood party for me is like trauma,” Kangana added.

The political drama Emergency, helmed and acted by Kangana Ranaut, will release in theatres on September 6. It also stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, and Satish Kaushik.

Kangana Ranaut likens farmers' stir to Bangladesh unrest, irks Punjab BJP leader

BJP leader and Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut courted controversy by suggesting that the farmers' protest could have led to a Bangladesh-like situation in India if not for strong measures taken by the Modi government.

In a video shared on X, Ranaut alleged that during the farmers’ stir against the three farm laws, "bodies were seen hanging and rapes were taking place."

The actor-politician blamed vested interests and "foreign powers" for the continuation of the protests even after the laws were rolled back.

"What happened in Bangladesh, it could have easily happened here tooâ€æ There is a conspiracy by foreign powers and these filmy people thrive on it. They don’t care if the country goes to the dogs," she said.

Her remarks have drawn criticism from within her own party. Senior Punjab BJP leader Harjit Garewal advised Ranaut to refrain from making inflammatory statements.

"It is not Kangana's department to speak on farmers, Kangana's statement is personal. PM Modi and BJP are farmer friendly. The opposition parties are working against us and Kangana's statement is doing the same. She should not make such statements, on sensitive or religious issues, religious organisations," Garewal told India Today.

Ranaut's comments come at an awkward time for the BJP, with assembly elections in Haryana just weeks away. Her remarks could further inflame farmers' outrage against the BJP, potentially impacting the party's poll prospects in agri-centric areas.

This is not the first time Ranaut has faced backlash for her comments on farmers. In 2020, in the midst of the anti-farm laws protest, she stoked a huge row after misidentifying a woman farmer from Punjab and making derogatory remarks about her.

Shortly after being elected to Parliament, Ranaut was also involved in an altercation with a CISF personnel at Chandigarh airport, who allegedly slapped her over her anti-farmer comments.

UP farmers try to burn Kangana Ranaut's effigy, police run away with it

A group of farmers on Wednesday gathered in Uttar Pradesh's Hapur to protest against BJP MP Kangana Ranaut's remarks on the farmers' protests. As the farmers tried to burn the actor-turned-politician's effigy, the cops on the spot snatched it from them.

Videos from the spot showed the policemen and farmers engaged in a tug-of-war over the effigy. The cops managed to snatch the effigy and ran away with it.

Workers of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Lokhit) gathered at a market area to protest against Ranaut, who alleged that "bodies were hanging" and "rapes" were taking place during the protests, inviting sharp criticism from the Opposition.

Even the BJP distanced itself from Kangana Ranaut's remarks, categorically stating that she was neither permitted nor authorised to comment on the party's policy matters.

Speaking to the media, Harish Hoon, national spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Lokhit), said, "In a TV interview, BJP MP from Mandi Kangana Ranaut called the farmers rapists and murderers. The farmers, who feed the 140 crore people of the nation, cannot accept such terms being used for them."

"When we were staging a protest here, the police slyly took the effigy from our car. We wanted to stage a peaceful protest and burn her effigy which is our right," he added.

Hoon also put across three demands before the police and government.

"First, she must apologise to the farmers from an open forum. Second, the BJP should suspend her otherwise her remark will be considered as the party's stand. And third, the police should lodge a case against her," he said.

UP cops are such clowns. So they have time to prevent that clown's effigy being burnt by that mob but not for stopping umpteenth crimes happening in UP on daily basis.

Country won't stop trivialising rape: Kangana Ranaut on Akali leader's remark

Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut voiced her strong disapproval of former Punjab MP Simranjit Singh Mann's derogatory remarks against her over rape.

Taking to social media, Ranaut expressed her outrage, stating, "It seems this country will never stop trivialising rape. Today, this senior politician compared getting raped to riding a bicycle. No wonder rapes and violence against women for fun are so deeply rooted in the psyche of this patriarchal nation that it is casually used to tease or mock a woman, even if she is a high-profile filmmaker or politician”.

Ranaut's comments come in response to Mann's controversial statement, in which he had said, “You can ask her (Kangana Ranaut) how rape happens so that people can be explained how rape happens. She has a lot of experience of rape”.

The actress, known for her bold and outspoken nature, highlighted how such remarks reflect a deep-seated cultural problem where the suffering of women is often dismissed or minimized.

The Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) leader's remark came days after Ranaut alleged that "rapes" took place during the farmers' protest.

Mann’s comments sparked widespread condemnation, with the Punjab women's commission taking note of it.

The MP from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi, in a recent interview, suggested that the farmers' protests could have led to a Bangladesh-like crisis in the country if India's leadership was not strong enough.

Ranaut also alleged that "bodies were hanging" and "rapes" were taking place during the farmers' protests, which went on for nearly a year in 2019-2020. She also alleged the involvement of China and the US in the "conspiracy".

Feel sorry for people like Javed Akhtar and so many other Indian Muslims always have to prove their loyalty to India every time something happens. No matter how much they’ve contributed or how clearly they stand for the country, they still get questioned just because of their identity.

Javed Akhtar isn’t even a Muslim but because of his name, idiot Hindutvas will think that he is a Muslim and hate him for it.

When he visited Pakistan, people welcomed him with open arms, no one cared if he was atheist, Muslim, or Hindu. They respected his art, not his label. But when he starts spouting nonsense that earns cheers from genocide apologists and ethnic cleansing fanboys like @Hitman, you gotta wonder if the applause got to his head or if he never had much going on up there to begin with.

Javed Akhtar is not even a Muslim. He should not be worried about coming to Pakistan. He is not needed here, nor does anyone want him to come. This is his own personal opinion. I think BJP and hindutva brigade should not confuse his name as being a Muslim one and spare him.
