An explosive new video featuring TikTok star Hareem Shah is said to show Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad, Imran's railways minister, being accused of lewd behaviour.

Shah has publicly confirmed that the footage is authentic, and says a friend of hers leaked it.

In the video, a woman -- who isn't in the frame -- can be heard speaking the following lines during a face-to-face call with a man: "Aap nanga hoke mujhe dikhaate the. Video pe galat-galat kism ki hartakein karte the. [You used to get naked and show me. You did inappropriate things on camera]."

Towards the end, the man appears to cut the call -- to much amusement on the other side.

Hareem Shah has told a Pakistani TV channel, Geo News, that she's been receiving threats.

According to other news reports, she said she would travel from Azerbaijan to Canada and ask for citizenship, with "no plan yet" to return to Pakistan.

Hareem Shah described herself as a "fan" of Imran Khan, and said she had family members in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf party, Geo News reported.

"We are PTI workers, therefore make videos with them [sic]," the channel quoted her as saying.

She told another channel, Lahore Rang, that Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed was "like family".

This is hardly Hareem Shah's first brush with controversy. She caused quite the stir when a video showed her inside a conference room in Pakistan's foreign office -- and sitting in the seat meant for the person chairing meetings.

Hareem Shah has been compared to Qandeel Baloch, a social media star who made provocative videos and was murderd by her own brother in an honour killing.

The brother, Waseem, has been sentenced to life in prison.

TikTok sensation Hareem Shah’s father, Zarrar Hussain, has come forth revealing his shocking reaction to her controversies in a video message that surfaced recently.

Starting his video with an apology to all his relatives and friends, Shah’s father said that he is short of words to describe his feelings over his daughter’s numerous controversies and scandals.

“I think whatever is happening to me and my family is a result of how I once wronged my father and hurt his feelings. I do not care about my own self but my ancestors’ reputation is on the line,” Zarrar said in a grief-stricken statement.

While wiping a tear off his cheek, he continued, “I am worried over the sad state of affairs and how things have unfolded, and how she has put the integrity of the nation at stake.”

Talking about Hareem, he shared, “I gave her the best religious education possible. I did everything I could as a father, but she I regret to say has failed me. She is an Aalima herself.”

Zarrar went on, “I am bound by the religious and national laws and regulations and are trying to bring Hareem back on the right track. Other than this, I have no authority in this world.”

Hareem, whose original name is Fiza Hussain, is famously known for her contentious TikTok videos that she uploads under her screen name Hareem Shah.

“I am hopeful that she gets guidance from Allah SWT and mends her ways. I want everyone to pray that I am successful in getting her back on the right path,” he further added.

In a shocking turn in his video message, Hareem's father said, "May Allah accept my sacrifice and forgive my mistakes."

Hareem has been receiving a lot of backlash and ire from netizens after her videos from inside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs went viral.

She recently accused Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed of harassing her online when an alleged live chat video between the two surfaced on the web.

Karachi: TikTok star Hareem Shah confessed on Tuesday that the videos released by her friend were not fake, however, the social media statements attributed to her were false.

Speaking to Geo Pakistan the internet sensation disclosed that her pictures were being photoshopped and she was also receiving threats.

“I am a Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) supporter and a fan of PM Imran Khan. My entire family is in PTI,” Shah shared.

“We are PTI workers therefore make videos with them,” she added.

About the recently-released videos, Shah said the videos which were released by her friend were not fake, however, the social media statement attributed to her were.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday initiated a money laundering probe against TikToker Hareem Shah, FIA Sindh spokesperson confirmed to The Express Tribune. A video clip of the social media star went viral in which she could be seen flaunting foreign currency while claiming she managed to easily take a hefty amount out of Pakistan.

According to the record, Shah flew to Doha on January 10. The FIA official, in a statement, shared that a probe has been launched against Shah for laundering a large sum of foreign currency. The spokesperson further added that the FIA decided to write to Britain’s National Crime Agency to take action against the TikToker.

In the said video, Shah went on to mock the authorities and shared: "I was bringing a large amount from Pakistan to the UK for the first time. When bringing the amount, one must be careful because you might land yourself in trouble. No one stopped me because no one can. I easily took the large sum out of the country."

The Sindh High Court (SHC) expressed indignation over money laundering and use of foul language against law enforcement agencies (LEAs) by TikToker Hareem Shah.

A two-member bench comprising Justice Muhammad Iqbal Kalhoro and Justice Abdul Mubeen Lakho heard the petition against the FIA inquiry.

The petitioner's counsel stated that Hareem Shah was ill and in Turkey. Hareem Shah's lawyer submitted the medical certificate in Turkish language to the court. Justice Lakho remarked: "What is she suffering from?"

The petitioner's counsel stated that Hareem Shah was undergoing ileoscopy.

Justice Kalhoro remarked, medical certificate, submitted in the court is in Turkish language. "We don't know Turkish, do you?" The judge inquired the petitioner's counsel. At this, the petitioner's counsel stated that he also did not understand Turkish language. The counsel informed the court that doctors have advised bed rest to Hareem Shah. The court asked about how long it would take Hareem Shah to return to the country. The petitioner's counsel stated that Hareem Shah was unwell and it might take her 15 to 20 days to come back.

Justice Kalhoro remarked that extremely vulgar language was used on social media against security and national institutions.

The petitioner's counsel contended that Hareem Shah had apologised for her statement. Justice Kalhoro in his remarks said that she should appear before the inquiry officer, otherwise the court would withdraw its order.

He said that Hareem was not involved in money laundering. Justice Kalhorro remarked that it was up to the inquiry officer to decide.

The court ordered Hareem to return and appear before the FIA. The court remarked that if she did not return and join the inquiry, the court would withdraw its earlier order which restrained the FIA from arresting her. The court ordered Hareem Shah to surrender before the FIA by April 18.
