Pakistan fast bowler Hassan Ali lost his temper and almost engaged in a physical altercation with the crowd during a local cricket match. In videos that have gone viral on social media, the 28-year-old can be seen being being heckled by the crowd and later getting into a physical altercation.

Among the things the crowd can be heard shouting at Hasan was that he is not part of the Pakistan squad. They were also taunting him over a crucial catch that he had dropped during Pakistan's 2021 T20 World Cup semi-final against Australia. The player seemed to have finally lost his cool and and pounced on the crowd. Organisers can be seen intervening and pulling Hasan away. According to Pakistan media, Hasan was playing a match on Sunday in Arif Wala, a city in the Pakpattan District of the country's Punjab province.

Unacceptable conduct and hope the PCB takes notice. The spectator was only telling him the truth. Hassan Ali cost Pakistan quite a few games with his poor bowling and fielding. He has to take it on the chin

Im not condoing his actions but the spectators should conduct themselves n behave decently

You cant badmouth or criticise someone to their face and not expect a backlash

The fans was way out of line with his comments

Sarfaraz was abused mercilessly during the 2019 World Cup and that too in front of his kid.

I’m not saying everyone should be the same but look at the way he conducted himself with dignity and ignored the person.

When you represent Pakistan or are a central contracted player, you must rise above this.

They are people and humans at the end and everyone has their limits

You cant have fans being abusive The spectator needs punishing

I don't any problem with Hassan's reaction and I say that as someone who don't even like him. Too many fans think that because they have paid money to come and watch, they are entitled to say whatever they want and the players have to just accept it. But it doesn't work like that. Sport athletes are humans with emotions and feelings too, and sometimes they react to getting abused and heckled. I wish Hassan Ali had done an Eric Cantona on this idiot heckling him.

As human as sports people are they need to remain cool when provoked. I remember years back when some Indian spectator was abusing Inzi calling him "aloo" and that. The big man too went for him:usman! Similarly movie star Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock when he was making jokes about his wife's shaved head.

Both sides are wrong. People lecturing Hasan on how to behave must be okay if a random stranger came up to their work desk and starts calling out their shortcomings like this idiot.

He should’ve acted better but let’s not pretend the ***** yelling out this nonsense didn’t have it coming.

Plenty of videos of Kohli giving it back to hecklers in the crowd as well, indian crowds in India mind you. Players aren’t your servants. Show some respect or don’t be surprised if you get rocked with a fist to the jaw some time. We’re all human.

Regardless of his current form, he won all of you a ****ing trophy in 2017- bowler of the tournament. Have some respect, shame and gratitude for once.

Playing some mickey mouse local game

Was averaging 40 with the ball in the recently concluded qea.

Players get heckled all the time. The last thing you want to do is try to get into physical altercation. Sports people always get things shouted at them from the stands. This is not the first time and Hasan in not the first cricketer to experience this. If this was norm, players will be seen fighting with spectators more than actually being on the field as this happens almost in every game.

Hasan should be suspended. Yes the heckling is not nice, and can get to you. However you cannot go in the crowd and attack them. Best option is to point out the people to security so they will be removed from the match.

Hassan ali did nothing wrong.

I see that posters living in forst world countries will have a different pov. Reason being you have laws where you can call police if such an issue may arrise who would than take care

In pakistan, if you face such a situation, there are no laws to protect or even help you. Thus, we saw hassan ali take he matter in his own hands.

People say dukb stuff because they know they can get away with it when there is a fence or when they are in a crowd and can hide. They panic when they get spotted and are approached

No protection is exactly the reason he should have avoided the physical fight. You may end up running into a group of locals and they may thrash you leaving you seriously injured in worst case.

Hasan ali is a celebrity, no one would even think about thrashing him

All wrong. He cost us the WC last year. He deserves.

Pakistanis as a people need to toughen up otherwise we will remain a beggars nation.

Thanks to these pyjama leagues, the population of these 'chapri' fans is increasing day by day both in India and Pakistan. They think they own all the players and can make or break their careers. :91: :inti

Still doesn’t justify it. Pakistanis as a nation need to Toughen up and learn some manners, that’s what the nation needs, there’s a balance. Hasan was wrong but so was the clown taunting him.

The delusions some fans have to think that if Hasan took that catch we would have won that game let alone win the final is incredible.

Hasan has achieved more in his career (and always will have) than any of our overhyped blue eyed boys like Naseem. Now, that his international career seems to be over he deserves some respect.

I asked Hassan about this and he said he was being abused by young and old.

He said he was being pushed around and manhandled too.

I'm just wondering why no security around him.

Seems violence is a feature of some game in Pakistan - in this case, fatal consequences

SWABI: A man and his two young sons were killed over an altercation during a cricket match in Kalabat village of Topi tehsil here on Tuesday night, a senior police official told Dawn on Wednesday.

DSP Topi tehsil Iftikar Ali Khan said that when a police party reached the venue of the incident on information, Hidayatullah, a son of the deceased, Mohammad Iqbal, told them that an exchange of heated words took place between his brother, Qaiser Khan, and the suspected attackers, Haroon Khan and Osama Khan, who also belonged to the same area, during a cricket match on Tuesday afternoon.

“We were sitting in front of our house at night when Haroon and Osama, who were armed, came there and started firing on us,” DSP Ali said while quoting Hidayatullah, the complainant.

As a result of firing, Iqbal, 60, and his two sons — Ansar Khan, 30, and Qaiser Khan, 26 — died on the spot. The attackers escaped after committing the triple murder.

The Topi police have registered an FIR against the attackers and started further investigations.

Meanwhile, body of a man was found in the fields here on Wednesday, the police said.

The family of the deceased and the police were informed by the locals about the body lying in fields, DSP headquarters Noor Amin Khan said, adding that the deceased was identified as Abdullah, a resident of Swabi city.

He said that some unidentified assailants had killed the man, adding that cause of the incident was not known.

However, the city police registered an FIR against unknown persons and started further investigations.

Meanwhile, the police solved the blind murder of a trader, namely Adnan Shams of Gohati village, by arresting a man, who was his business partner, and recovered a pistol from him.

DSP Swabi Farooq Zaman, SHO Swabi police station Altaf Khan and in-charge investigation Gul Sher Khan were tasked with tracing the facts and arresting the accused. The killing had occurred in May.

Police officials said that the accused told the investigators that he got killed his business partner through a hired assassin after a dispute arose between them on money and land.
