Iftikhar is the sort of guy you only pick for Asian conditions to add another spin option. Something Hafeez used to do for us.

Would be ideal in SL, BD or the UAE but could have trouble against quality pace on supportive wickets.

Don't compare his test potential with his T20 potential. He is a good power hitter.
