Jaker Ali, born on 22 February 1998, is a Bangladeshi cricketer who has represented his country in various formats.

He began his first-class career with Sylhet Division in the National Cricket League, making his debut on 27 December 2016. Before stepping into first-class cricket, he was part of Bangladesh’s squad for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2016. His List A debut came in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, where he played for Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club on 26 April 2017.

In franchise cricket, he was picked by Sylhet Sixers for the Bangladesh Premier League’s 2018–19 season and made his T20 debut for them on 16 January 2019. The following year, he joined Dhaka Platoon for the 2019–20 edition of the tournament.

His international career took off in March 2023 when he received his first call-up to Bangladesh’s T20I squad for the series against Ireland. In May 2024, he was included in the squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

Jaker made a significant impact during Bangladesh’s tour of the West Indies in December 2024. He smashed nine sixes in the T20 series, setting a record for the most sixes hit by a Bangladeshi player in a bilateral T20 series. Over the year, he accumulated 21 sixes, equaling the national record for the most in a calendar year, alongside Tawhid Hridoy. During the third T20 of the series, he hit six sixes in an innings for the second time in his career, a feat no other Bangladeshi player had achieved. Batting at number five, he played an unbeaten knock of 72, the highest score by a Bangladeshi batter in that position. He finished as the highest run-scorer in both the Test and T20 series against the West Indies.

His performances earned him a place in Bangladesh’s squad for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, announced in January 2025.
