[VIDEOS] Kevin Pietersen to Ahmed Shehzad : "You are talking so much nonsense"

Doesn't mean anything. Shahzad's first language isn't English, it isn't fair to expect to come up with a quick come back. KP was being racist, what he was doing would be considered "racial microaggressions".

Lol what load of bull. Fact is Shehzad kept sucking up and calling him mate. He’s educated enough to reply with “quit your nonsense”

We must remember though that when Shezzy made his debut, back then 260/270 was still considered a match winning total.

He probably plays 10 dot balls too many but that does not make him pathetic. You can call him average and unsuitable..

Pathetic is probably more appropriate for someone like Azam Khan who probably strikes at 100 but averages like 12 in domestic cricket.

There is no way that sort of SR was even acceptable back then. Cricket started seeing high scores right after 2014ish. And he was still a joke. Infact his SR went down. Not up.

Are people seriously justfying what KP did by bringing up Shehzad's cricket scores?

That's a very low thing to do.

Are these instagram interviews something you can only watch live or are they recorded somewhere for viewing? It looks like KP is doing one daily.

No shezzy has played majority of his cricket after 2010s when 300 had become the norm. Stop making pathetic excuses for a pathetic player

Zaheer Abbas in the 70s and 80s has a 85 SR lol

Shezzy harping about that Quetta misses KP when he is ripping him apart. No gairat.

tbf Shehzad got back at him about KPs final season with QG.

I think its a culture barrier, in ENgland most of us mate around like this, you can see these two are cool with each other.

To be honest this is not an Ahmed Shehzad problem but a problem with Pakistani's in general. We are just not used to being positively mentioned and acknowledge by global celebrities.

Reminds me of a joint song that Momina Mustehsen did with an Indian singer. Salman Khan praised the song on twitter but only acknowledged, named and congradulated the Indian singer. Lol Momina responded like a star struck teenager about how her mom was a big fan of his and how massive an honor it was to be praised by him. Pakistani twitter brigade tore her a new one by reminding her that he ignored her and her response was embarrassing for Pakistani's.

What exactly is Shehzad trying to do here?

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Don’t worry about the people who aren’t happy for u..<br>They probably aren’t happy for them selves either. <br>Jealousy is a decease folks plz stay safe!! <a href="https://t.co/pZsCfY14g0">https://t.co/pZsCfY14g0</a></p>— Ahmad Shahzad &#55356;&#56821;&#55356;&#56816; (@iamAhmadshahzad) <a href="https://twitter.com/iamAhmadshahzad/status/1245032214942842890?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 31, 2020</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

He got battered and now he's trying to blame the public lol

I was wrong. He deserved it.

Mate, you could see that Shehzad felt offended.
He tried to come up with a comeback but just couldn't.

Watch it again, there was a good comeback from Shezad lol. KP's psl performance. Bro it was light humor. Why are you annoyed by it?

This wasn't buddy talk, please be more intuitive, thank you.

Jesus freaking christ, whats with all these victim mentality. I don't know how you all are with your friends, but this is regular bashing that friends to do each other not to be diabolic but for fun banters. Even shezad gave KP a jab with his psl performance and leaving.

Ahmed Shehzad seems to want to be the next yasir hameed
Playing at number 3 shouldn't be a problem with someone with his calibre and pedigree

My take - and I don't know how close these guys are -

but they probably have that type of banter in person, or in the locker room -- but I think KP did not get a clue that maybe Shehzad wasn't in a position to talk that freely. Maybe he was with his fam, or maybe, like many Asian stars, they don't want to publicly swear or talk sh*t. KP is also retired, he can keep his cool demeanor but Shehzad is struggling to make a strong comeback at the highest/professional level. Probably does not want to speak about certain things without a curtain.

It definitely felt awkward because Shehzad was at 0 and KP came at him at 100, and KP didn't let go even when he didn't get a rally/return back from Shehzad so. That being said: once KP got off of the topic of his form, Shehzad and him had a decent conversation and you could tell that these guys have chopped it up before.

This is how I talk with my mates, i make fun of his hair etc. KP was funny, Shehzad seems like a dheela type of guy

Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen used to grab the headlines with his strokeplay during his playing days, the spotlight may not be as intense nowadays, but KP still manages to grab eyeballs, this time through his online presence. Due to the lack of sporting events and the government imposed lockdowns in major cities of the world, sportspersons have been spending most of their times online and Pietersen is no exception. He has grabbed a lot of attention with his Instagram live sessions.

He made headlines with a session with India opener Rohit Sharma but the former England batsman decided to troll Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad in his session.

Pietersen asked Shehzad, “I just wanna hammer you about your batting. Why are you not scoring runs?”

Shehzad then replied, “Well, I have tried my best in this IPL [PSL]. I have been working really hard. Sometimes you know as a cricketer you are trying everything but it’s not coming. You cannot help it. You still have to believe in yourself whenever you go.”

“Shezzy (Shehzad), I am not a journalist. I am your buddy so don’t talk to me like you are in a press conference, okay? Why are you not scoring runs?”

Shehzad then said, “You want a clear answer? I was playing (batting) No.3 and I tried but it was not helping me. It was my first time that I played the entire tournament at No.3. I never complained. I was doing my best, I tried my best but it was not coming.”

But Pietersen was not letting him go that easily.

“So you don’t wanna bat No.1, you can’t bat two, you can’t bat three, you can’t bat four, you can’t bat five. I think you must go and bat at 13. Go and bat 13 for Quetta Gladiators next season No.13 for the third team, not even for the first team. You are gonna carry drinks,” he said.

Hahahaha :))) this is actually funny, seems like a good banter.

Quetta Gladiators owner Nadeem Omar has hinted at Former England star Kevin Pietersen is likely to join Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise in a new role, in next edition of the tournament.

The former England batsman retried from all forms of cricket in 2018 after playing his last game for the franchise.

Talking to media via video link, the owner of the franchise said, “Pietersen is a great friend of mine. I asked him to join the side as mentor but he declined due to presence of Sir Viv Richards, in order to avoid creating any issue."

He added: “We can't keep many mentors but I'm confident that next year he will join us in a new role."

Omar once again blame travelling as the main reason behind defending champions' below-par campaign in PSL season five.

Sarfaraz Ahmed-led side finished fifth in the points able with nine points from 10 games.

“After our initial games in Karachi, our players didn't get chance to relax. There came a time, when we had to rush to the venue directly from the airport to play the match," he said.

He termed Umar Akmal's suspension hours before the tournament as the major lost for the side.

“He [Umar Akmal] is one of the finest middle-order batsmen in Pakistan and it was a major loss for our side when he was suspended hours before the start of PSL 5," said Omar. “I would say that it damaged 30 per cent strength of our team."
