All U19 guys look like good prospects - just need better guidance on the field.

He looks like an Afghan.

But this guy will be hot property in the PSL.

Future.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Maaz Sadaqat scored his career-best 91 against Northern in Rawalpindi in QeA22

Pretty sure he is not a bowler. I was tracking him last season and he was doing incredibly well in the 2nd XI and got the promotion to the main squad by the end. Nice to see him doing well in this tournament.

They seem to have changed his batting spot though. He was always an opener last season but batting at #6 now. Could be good to slowly integrate a young player like that though.

In a standout performance, Maaz Sadaqat from KRL notched his maiden First-Class five-wicket haul with an impressive 5/80 against PTV on Day 3 during the sixth round of the President's Trophy 2023-24.

Elevating his contribution, he also secures a spot among the tournament's top 10 run-scorers, accumulating almost 400 runs at an impressive average of 57.

A good initiative from KRL to send opener Maaz Sadaqat against Ghani Glass in the President's Cup 2024. He showcased his batting skills by scoring 92 off 80, but it went in vain as the opposition emerged victorious. However, KRL has definitely found an opening batting option for the future because cricket is now all about all-rounders. But I think there is room for him to improve his bowling, as he was expensive with the ball today. KRL should continue to send him as an opener in the remaining matches; this guy has a lot to offer.

MAAZ SADAQAT'S VALIANT 74(92) GOES IN VAIN

KRL's star Maaz Sadaqat played a gritty innings against WAPDA in the President's One-day Cup 2024, but unfortunately, his team couldn't capitalize on his impressive 74 runs. Interesting fact is, he opened the innings for KRL today.

Maiden List A century 114(96) for KRL batter Maaz Sadaqat against SBP in President's One-Day Cup 2024

This was the talented 19-year-old's first hundred in any format.

He is an elegant timer of the ball and can play high pace as well but not good against swing bowling ,good talented cricketer nevertheless , is an accurate darter as well.

Maaz Sadaqat shines with bat, scoring 96(129) in 1st innings for Peshawar in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2024, Group B, Round 2, Day 1, against Bahawalpur.

Maaz Sadaqat continues to impress with the bat, scoring an important 65 off 74 deliveries in 2nd Innings for Peshawar against Bahawalpur on Day 3 of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy's second round

Peshawar's Maaz Sadaqat 114 (171) - Maiden First Class century against Multan on Day 3 in fourth round of Quaid-e-Azam trophy 2024

Peshawar's Maaz Sadaqat scored 85 (130) in the 2nd innings against Rawalpindi on Day 3 of the fifth round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2024

Scoring runs in the domestic cricket. Looks like some batting talent coming from QEA

Very impressive

It was an eye sore watching Farhan, Salman Agha and Usman bat in the series

Told you guys he is a special player! Scored 95 runs in the first innings for Peshawar when most of the batsmen failed. Played against the likes of Naseem Shah, Ahmed Bashir and Ubaid Shah. Hit 16 fours in his innings. He needs special recognition here. Needs to have a interview with Pakpassion.

Maaz Sadaqat, who missed out on his second first-class century by a mere five runs, struck 16 fours and one six during his 97-ball stay on the crease, which also included a fifty-run second-wicket stand with Sajjad Ibraheem in QAE trophy 2024 second triangular round today while playing for Peshawar against Lahore Whites

He has improved quite a lot from his u19 days and is already in the shaheens teams. He needs to tighten his defense as a opener and learn to play the moving ball. Other than that he's very impressive.

Stallions' Maaz Sadaqat has ventured into bowling, and against Lions in the PCB Champions T20 Cup 2024, he claimed figures of 2/16 from 2 overs.

Not in the same league as current openers in domestic but more than good enough for domestic teams.

What? He's been dominating in FC and had the odi domestic circuit. Who are the domestic openers who are better than him?

I has lost all my patience with Saim but glad the team management persisted. If this kid has the same ceiling as Saim then yes he should be given as many chances as required.
Agree. However he's performing in the Champions Cup T20 in which Hussain Talat & Musa Khan are enjoying themselves in rich form.

However Maaz should utilise it with gaining as much experience as he can.

I maybe wrong, and I hope I am, but he looked quite limited. Hopefully I am missing something and he challenges for a place in the National team

I have definately been impressed both with his batting and his bowlibg isnt bad too

That was last year when he couldn’t handle extra bounce and movement but this season he looks much improved and he actually got a game against spin bowling as well , I am not seeing any apparent weakness in his batting which is a big compliment in it’s self.

Remember Saim at his age during his PSL debut season was all at sea against the domestic pacers. So he’s definitely got a higher ceiling than Saim and is more accomplished than Saim when at his age.

Which domestic bowlers was he at sea in psl ?

Boy should have been in the nz squad over hacks and tullas like haris, hassan and samad.
He plays proper cricket and also has good technique.
He has good domestic record in all 3 formats and in T20s he also has much better stats as compared to hassan and haris.

He needs to prove himself first i do see potential for sure with bat and ball but he is way off saying that all the hacks in Kiwi tour are a disgrace!!

Not seen many young PK batsman pull the ball like he did. He had a little issue with the balance when ball was at him from around the wicket.
Have you seen Jahanzaib Sultan's batting ? Haven't seen a batsman pulling like that since Sharjeel (except Saim) although that was in Faisalabad.

PZ benched him for that many games, and he proved them wrong in the very first chance he got... Looks like a solid batter... I really hope he stays focused on his goal.

Even khwaja nafay played match winning innings last psl but this year he is not given chances, hopefully same does not happen with maaz. Problem with teams is as soon as young promising players lose emerging status they're forgetten.
