[VIDEOS] Mohammad Zeeshan: A 6 foot 8" pacer from Faisalabad

Well he is quite young, he will definately get stronger and bowl faster. At the moment he needs proper coaches to work with him.

Maybe so but he won’t all of a sudden become a fast bowler. Pace is something that comes naturally.

Maybe he will not become 140+ bowler, but even a pace around 135 kph with his hight can be dangerous. The bounce he will get from good length, only few pakistani bowlers can get that. Anyways, let's not drag this, alot of work to be done here.

You know many teenagers bowling 140-150 kph?

Dude is a teenager bowling 130-135 clicks which is pretty decent. Once he develops more he'll add some pace. It's not like he is some 30 years old over the hill finished product.

He has height so that's one factor so aslong as he can consistently bowl at decent pace it should be OK.

As I said previously in this thread, he can certainly pick up pace. He is young and hasn’t played much cricket. Shaheen didn’t start off as a 140kph bowler either. Neither did Mohammad Irfan… but with his height and build, I’m sure he can generate enough pace after some training, practice and good nutrition

Pakistan U19s lost the 1st T20 vs BD but Zeeshan did well - 2/24

took a FC career best 6fer today, very scattergun but there is no doubt about his potential, invariably gets one or two balls to rise awkwardly, and most pleasing in terms of his development is that he isnt built wiry like tall pakistani quicks usually are, looks very solidly built. got through about 25 overs in the match too, which shows his previous fitness issues are probably behind him. even if he can bowl mid 80s with his height, if he can improve his accuracy he will be a good red ball bowler.

Pakistan should try him in national team (against some minnows).

Height is his advantage.

Physically he has every thing going for him so the fact that he hasn't even gotten close to the national team in a few years implies he is nowhere near ready yet.

Ubaid Shah & Ali Raza are from the same U19 batch and have made a much bigger impact & seemingly are closer to International call up.
