I think Huzaifa Khan describes him best "kitabi player"

No way in hell would a Karachi wala get the backing Abdullah has with such minimal first class experience however as the saying goes, domicile matters
 
Even Aamer Jamal had to give Abdullah a red card for slide tackling him haha, love it.

Abdullah is making a strong case for being dropped from the team due to both his batting and fielding

i have never seen such lazy lad on cricket field

i cant believe he is the same abdullah shafique who had the worst fielding experiece in Australia, might be ball was too hot there! :ROFLMAO:
 
He took the torch no one wanted from 2010 Kamran Akmal on tour to Australia and ran with it.
 
That catch was fabulous but still cannot forget how he grassed some easy peesy dollies on Australian tour.

Abdullah Shafique gets to 50 against Karachi Kings

I advise him to refrain from finger celebrations to avoid criticism from Wasim Akram.

Abdullah Shafique in reply to Wasim Akram's celebration critique said during the Karachi Kings vs Lahore Qalandars post-match presser:

"First of all it is his [Wasim Akram] opinion. It is ok if he is saying that because he has played cricket and he knows better. There was no thought process behind the celebration. It was just a gesture in the heat of the moment,"

By the end of the innings he remains unbeaten at 59 off 39.

From disastrous fielding in Australia, Abdullah Shafique has the most catches in the ongoing President's Cup 2024 with 9 catches in 7 matches so far. His Ct/Inn is 1.285

Why is pakistan obsessed with such crapola fielders in slips? Then again all our slip fielders suck except shadab but you obviously shouldn't play him in any format.

unfortunately we dont have any to be placed in slip, last time i saw any good slip fielder from Pakistan was Younis Khan
 
Salman ali agha is also great, look at blinders he took in Australia tour plus babar azam is also good, that abdullah shafique is only worst.

Imran Butt was pretty special in the slip cordon. He was probably the best fielder in slips after Younis Khan.

Abdullah should be standing at covers or silly point.

Yeah Imran Butt was indeed a very safe fielder in slip cordon but he was equally pathetic with bat

I think Abdullah is more suitable to place where Umpire stands and ask him to do Umpiring when Pakistan comes to field lol
 
Select the top 3 slip catchers in squad. Maybe only 2 needed since salman already playing. Maybe it's shadab and Muhammad Haris. Or fakhar. Hope to bat first. Then in bowling time for first 10 overs when most chance for slip catch have Abdullah shafiq sit out and put shadab or Haris or Imran butt or someone in place as sub. Then they can come back out. Repeat for second innings.

He is fine at covers or silly point. No need to place him in slips.
 
First he was pathetic with the bat in the whole series against England and now he drops a catch at short fine leg as well. What else is he gonna do wrong that he is dropped from the team???
 
Rubbish rubbish player. . Who told babar to bring a player with only 7 List A games and slightly more fc games and take him as a priemere world cup opener?
