So Muhammad Musa drops an easy chance - hit hard but was at him - should have taken it.

Brilliant from Akif. That was a bullet throw.

Almost in anger / disdain after the rubbish from Musa for the previous two deliveries.

And an excellent diving effort by Faheem Ashraf to dismiss Shehzad

Impressive stuff from Zalmi so far 2 direct hits and a catch:)

Lovely catch by Malik to remove Imad.

Brilliant pick and run out off his own bowling by Arshad Iqbal

What's worrying is that quite a few of the youngsters are very ordinary fielders and without the basic technique for fielding.

Horrible all round, especially from the young newcomers.
The u-16 team needs a fielding coach immediately.

Multan has been the best team in field, neat and crisp catching.

Also good to see U-19 players Haider Ali and Amir Khan are good fielders too

A lot of simple catches being dropped and plenty of poor pieces of fielding which isn't good to see.

Fielding standards in PSL

everyone is talking about bowling standards are high.

well fielding is equally horrendous and low...

thoughts. why?

seems like PSL 3 and 4 had better standards over all. i have seen so many catches dropped. barely any run outs.

Rahat Ali catching technique = chappatee making style - not improved since that Watson dropped catch in WC 2015

Azam a bit slow to get moving in the field, earns himself some choice words from Sarfaraz.

A bit lazy from LQ's Farzan Raja - they could easily lose with such misfields at boundaries

It's really disappointing to see young Pakistani cricketers trying to stop the ball with their feet, not backing-up throws, dropping simple catches and being slow across the ground.

It seems that fielding is still not being taken seriously.

Ball went through Hussain Talat's hands - Zafar Gohar not pleased

Easy drop by Watson of Imam, off the bowling of Naseem Shah

Imam drops a high one but was it his catch? Gregory was in better position

But then gets the catch next time to remove Nawaz

Kami dropping an easy one - in fact totally missed it!

Flat and hard at Chris Jordan but he takes the catch to dismiss Moeen Ali

2 horrific drops from Peshawar Zalmi

Wahab totally missed the ball
Linvingstone maybe undone by Kamran Akmal movement in slips

Best catch of the PSL?

Liam Livingstone takes on off Colin Munro

5 catches dropped but Liam Livingstone takes another one

Akif's drop catch was embarrassing for a young fielder. How can you not have your eyes on the ball while it has touched your hands. He was still looking at sky...very sad display of concentration.

2 dropped catches off Sharjeel

Ben Dunk dropped one and then one in the outfield - costly misses?

Superb catch by Umar Amin to remove Afridi

Lovely catch by Moeen to remove Wahab Riaz.

The overall standard of fielding has been very poor. Posters like boasting about the quality of bowling but never mention how bad the fielding is in the PSL.

Awful fielding continues.

What the hell was that dropped catch from Parnell.

LQ not doing themselves any favours on the field.

Of all the teams I think Lahore are probably the weakest fielding side in the PSL.

More poor fielders than decent ones in their team.

Another youngster dropping a pressure catch, this time Saim Ayub dropping Hafeez

Talk about costly drops.

Salman drops Gayle on 20 and 31 and he goes on to make 68.

Saim drops Hafeez on 24 and he goes on to win the game with 73*.

I wouldn’t go and watch the PSL if I had a free ticket.

It’s that bad.

It's the younger players standard of fielding that concerns me.

They are supposed to be teenagers, but field like over 40s.

Superb catch at slip from Haider Ali:

<div style="width: 100%; height: 0px; position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.250%;"><iframe src="https://streamable.com/e/4wr8g1" frameborder="0" width="100%" height="100%" allowfullscreen style="width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;"></iframe></div>

Horrible effort from Fakhar Zaman today.

Lazy, languid and let his team down.

It's the younger players standard of fielding that concerns me.

They are supposed to be teenagers, but field like over 40s.

This is the concern for me. The younger players have no clue how to dive and are by and large pretty poor fielders.

Are they not taking fielding seriously, are there problems with the coaching they are receiving?

More evidence today of the ridiculous standards of fielding amongst the Pakistani players.

The younger players fielding as if they are over 50.

The drop today by Sohail Akhtar against KK is probably one of the worst drops you will ever see at any level of cricket.

And then he blamed the lights :)

Yes these guys like Sharjeel Khan and Azam Khan can hit a long ball now and then, but they are a liability in the field and time and again give away runs due to poor pieces of fielding.

It was a mixed bag of fielding today, but this was certainly one of the best moments:

Absolute sitter dropped by Haris Rauf.

Really needs to improve his fielding.

I think they could do a very good compilation of some of the worst drops in cricket during this PSL.

Another absolute sitter dropped - this time by Sohaib Maqsood.

<div style="width: 100%; height: 0px; position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.604%;"><iframe src="https://streamable.com/e/fbp518" frameborder="0" width="100%" height="100%" allowfullscreen style="width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;"></iframe></div>

One of the most routine catches dropped from Maqsood. He didn't even have to move.

Brilliant catch by Wahab to dismiss Faizan for PZ v LQ

Today's daily dolly drop comes from Zafar Gohar. Simple chance.

Some very poor communication leads to a bad collision between Faf du Plessis and Mohammad Hasnain on the boundary:

<div style="width: 100%; height: 0px; position: relative; padding-bottom: 54.717%;"><iframe src="https://streamable.com/e/rbarhh" frameborder="0" width="100%" height="100%" allowfullscreen style="width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;"></iframe></div>

A difficult chance for Shadab, but one that he would expect to take:

<div style="width: 100%; height: 0px; position: relative; padding-bottom: 52.830%;"><iframe src="https://streamable.com/e/oxedle" frameborder="0" width="100%" height="100%" allowfullscreen style="width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;"></iframe></div>

A really poor drop from Malik. Seen quite a few of these dollies dropped since PSL 6 resumed.

<div style="width: 100%; height: 0px; position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.604%;"><iframe src="https://streamable.com/e/k1sx1u" frameborder="0" width="100%" height="100%" allowfullscreen style="width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;"></iframe></div>

Sohaib Maqsood should be counting his lucky stars. This time the culprit was Mohammad Imran, who didn't even get near it.

<div style="width: 100%; height: 0px; position: relative; padding-bottom: 54.717%;"><iframe src="https://streamable.com/e/6kcj41" frameborder="0" width="100%" height="100%" allowfullscreen style="width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;"></iframe></div>

Yet another dropped catch. The fielding has been pathetic since PSL 6 restarted.

<div style="width: 100%; height: 0px; position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.604%;"><iframe src="https://streamable.com/e/uxi2pc" frameborder="0" width="100%" height="100%" allowfullscreen style="width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;"></iframe></div>

Worrying that most of these simple drops are from young Pakistani players.

A fantastic high catch from Hassan:

<div style="width: 100%; height: 0px; position: relative; padding-bottom: 56.250%;"><iframe src="https://streamable.com/e/re5aoi" frameborder="0" width="100%" height="100%" allowfullscreen style="width: 100%; height: 100%; position: absolute;"></iframe></div>

Impressed by Imran Tahir's fielding and catching.
