[VIDEOS] Right-wing thugs turn on immigrant populations in UK in the aftermath of Southport killings

Changed a lot.

Large cities centrally have got richer, taller, and more prosperous. Wealthy suburbs, comfortable.

Towns and outer city suburbs have got a lot worse. Lots of crime ridden, dirty, drug filled dumps.

Any idea about how the places around

Royal Victoria/Canning town

Bounds Green

Harrows

Etc are doing?

Lots of memories there.

I have no idea. I don't see a way out. But UK still has imperial hubris plus people are conditioned to expect relatively high wage ( with low productivity), top class public services and high standards of living.

We aren't achieving anything and already have a high tax burden.

Nobody will want to buy overpriced UK goods so I don't see manufacturing recovering. There is no prestige attached to British goods as there was previously to perhaps justify increased prices.

Unfortunately in such a scenario people's resentment will increase further and further. I think we will see more riots by white people with no qualifications or prospects.

British goods were known for their quality once.

You will not know but there was a time when UK manufacturing rivalled rest of the europe.

UK watch makers rivalled Swiss ones.

UK automakers rivalled Germans.

British steel was as good as any.

Manchester was the hub of textile industry.

If you ever buy a luxury watch, check out fears watches.

If the UK police had the powers to deal with these lawless thugs as police forces around the world do, then we'd be talking about Halloween preparations instead.

Shove the rules of engagement - get those water cannons, tear gas, rubber bullets, and aim at every rioter and press the trigger!

These sods have nothing better to do, so hopefully walking in a limp for months will make them consider twice.

From the videos I've seen it's the other way round. It's the police who are cowering while coming under a hail of fire. From bricks, planks, water canons in the form of fire extinguishers, and in the latest video from Rotheram, getting chairs thrown at them by the local English rioters.

This has got nothing to do with three little girls that have lost their lives'

In Middlesbrough today, one resident condemned the violence on the streets - and pointed out it had nothing to do with the stabbings in Southport.

About 300 people gathered in front of a mosque on Waterloo Road to guard it while police blocked off nearby streets.

One resident told the PA news agency: "We’re going to be paying for this, and for what?

"This has got nothing to do with three little girls that have lost their lives.

"They’ve used it to cause utter mayhem on our streets."

Another woman shouted "you fascist thugs", while a man who was with her shouted at police: "You’re letting them rampage through the city."

Rioters smashed windows 'because we're English'

Some rioters were seen smashing car windows as they walked through a residential area, including one rioter who threw a piece of broken glass through the window of a home.

One of the group used a racial slur while shouting "which car are we going to smash next?".

Another replied "because we’re English" when asked by a resident why they were breaking windows.

A scuffle broke out between protesters and a small group of people whose cars were smashed.

I don't understand

The guy(muslim/non muslim) has been arrested. He will be punished. Why riot?

If its about the larger point of illegal immigrants, sit down with the government. May be UK can withdraw from the refugees convention and deport asylum seekers (Economic migrants).

Government too should try not to fan the flames. Sometimes arresting too many will only make it worse.

You have to understand the fact that Europeans are seeing their end right in front of their eyes. For centuries they fought deadly wars to protect Europe from Islamists and now they are literally taking over Europe legally without any war. Any other community in the world given in this kind of situation except Sanatani Hindus would have absolutely lost their minds. We saw how the Rohingyas were booted out.

The morality and righteousness of our superior civilizations has been our weakness for a long time.

Police reserves not used this weekend, says home secretary

Home Secretary Yvette Cooper tells Sky News there "has to be a reckoning" for those taking part in riots.

Ms Cooper says: "There will be people who were thinking they were going on their summer holidays this week, and instead they will face a knock on the door from the police.

"They will face arrest and a prison cell, a police cell while they wait for trial, in order to make sure that they do pay the price for what they have done."

The home secretary says she also expects action to be taken against those who were "posting criminal material online".

And she criticises social media companies - saying the tech giants need to "take some responsibility" for what is posted on their platforms.

Asked if there are enough police officers to deal with the unrest, Ms Cooper says forces have reserves that were not deployed this weekend.

But she says there is a "longer-term issue about policing in the UK".

Ms Cooper is asked if foreign states have been involved in the unrest.

Her Conservative predecessor, James Cleverly, said this had all the "hallmarks" of foreign interference.

Ms Cooper says "there can be this sort of amplification of social media activity online".

But she says the government's "focus" at the moment is "on local groups and organisations".

She says some of these are "far-right extremists" and also "local looters who came to join in and committed crimes".

Police: 'Sickening' rioters attempted 'serious harm' to hotel residents

South Yorkshire Police is speaking about rioters and protesters in Rotherham and Sheffield.

Assistant Chief Constable Lindsey Butterfield says there have so far been six arrests, but the number will "increase significantly".

Approximately 750 arrived in Wath upon Dearne, Rotherham, with "far-right, anti-immigration views", while another large group descended on Sheffield.

"We began to see an escalation in violence in Wath. Hotel windows were smashed and there was a concerted effort to cause damage to the interior and serious harm to those inside.

"There was a particularly sickening moment when a wheelie bin was pushed against the hotel and set on fire with the clear intent to cause serious harm to the residents and staff.

"It was known there were people residing and working in the hotel, but the mindless individuals responsible had absolutely no regard for their safety.

"It was ultimately a disgusting display of thuggery."

At least 12 police officers were injured, as well as police dogs, and horses attacked with bricks, she adds.

"If you were there, we will find you, and you will be held accountable."

UK is a mess.
Huge immigration, growing radical right wing groups.

I was amazed/shocked when I heard the benefits Pakistani people are getting and how easy it is to get your relatives over, who then upon arrival also apply for benefits.

It's absolutely not easy to get relatives over or to get access to benefits

Maybe once upon a time that was the case but it's been difficult for a long time

It's a simply a narrative spun by the far right

Front doors of houses are being smashed in already this morning . Rioters being remanded for £1 sausage roll or £5 brown shoes . Looking at 3-5 years behind bars 🤣

Not to mention what the Muslim prisoners are going to do to them 👊🏼

Some of the pics coming out are mad, women that look like they have jobs stealing from Shoezone and greggs etc, they’ve basically embarrassed themselves and their family / relatives in front of the world.

I’d probably have to move to Pakistan if I was seen knicking a pair of fake crocs.

“They come into our country, take our jobs, groom our kids and don’t want to embrace our culture” - which is to get wasted on a Friday night and wake up on a Saturday Afternoon next to a slag

“So, let’s go out and protest by looting Greggs and Iceland, let the kids have an early Christmas by breaking into JD sports”.

lol its next to impossible to get a relative to the UK, they can come over on their accord but you cant sponsor them for anything other than a visit visa for 6 months and even that gets rejected often.

Forget benefits, that is a long long time away for any recent migrants

This is what happens when you allow illiterate extremists from third-world countries into the country.

You guys should check the national crime stats by origin... lol.

Tbf to many Indians they are clueless of their own history. Mohammed bin Qasim only decided to fight Hindus as they were attacking muslim traders .

As for Uk , their media is so poor , its easy for them to swallow rss ideas

More than 370 arrests so far - and likely to rise

Police have nearly 400 arrests linked to violent disorder across the UK, with that number set to rise with each day.

"So far 378 arrests have been made and we expect that total to rise each day as forces continue to identify those involved and continue to apprehend those responsible," Gavin Stephens, chairman of the National Police Chiefs' Council, has said.

"Work is going on around the clock to do this and those involved will be brought to justice."

He also sought to ease fears that violence could continue or escalate, saying police were prepared.

"I want to reassure the public that a united and robust policing response is in place across the country and we are doing all we can to tackle this disorder and keep you safe.

Once they look at private lawyer fees in the UK, all the josh to throw bricks at police will calm down. Or wait for a public defender who is overworked and is in no position to give you the best advice other than to plead guilty for a short sentence. That ruins people's DBS checks and good luck getting any decent job in the future.

They'll just have to depend on the job center and pretend they are looking for a job to qualify for benefits

Elon Musk hits back at Sir Keir Starmer after 'civil war' comments dismissed

A war of words has broken out between Elon Musk and the prime minister after Downing Street dismissed comments from the world’s richest man claiming that "civil war is inevitable" in the UK.

Musk, the billionaire owner of X, made the comments on the social media platform below a video of rioters setting off fireworks at police.

n response, the prime minister's spokesperson said there was "no justification" for his comments, adding: "Anyone who is whipping up violence online will face the full force of the law.

"Online platforms have a responsibility."

Musk has now commented on a social media post from Sir Keir which criticised violence towards Muslims.

Mosques and hotels housing asylum seekers have been among the targets of far-right demonstrations which have gripped the UK for the past week.

Sir Keir said the unrest "is not protest, it is pure violence", adding: "We will not tolerate attacks on mosques or on Muslim communities".

Musk replied: "Shouldn't you be concerned about attacks on *all* communities?".

The row came after Sir Keir chaired an emergency COBRA meeting on the riots, in which he said that anyone whipping up violence online will face "the full force of the law".

Ministers are concerned about the role of online misinformation stoking the riots.

"If you're inciting violence, it doesn't matter whether it's online or offline," the prime minister said.

"And therefore I expect, just as in relation to those that are directly participating on the streets, for there to be arrests and charging and prosecution.

"Equally, anyone who has been found to have committed a criminal offence online can expect the same response."

Spot on.
Let's not stoke the right wing elements who are just waiting for a mistake from the Muslim/asian communities...

there are occasions when doing nothing is the actually a show of strength and this is that time.

If they're going to act little brain dead bafoons then so be it... we simply have to rise above it

Its quite telling on this forum, those individuals who are actively encouraging the far right to carry out these attacks on muslims who played no part of the attack on those innocent children in Southport. Notice the radio silence from the usual suspects, they’ll give this thread a wide berth.
These violent, so called protests are zionist funded with aim of:
1. Stop the Palestinian solidarity marches.
2. Hide or make people ‘forget’ the crimes israel is committing in genociding the Palestinians.
3. Scapegoat an enemy the joo’s hate and get others to do their dirty work for them.

One child still in hospital after stabbing – police

One child remains in hospital a week on from the fatal Southport stabbing attack, police have said.

Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and Alice Dasilva Aguiar, nine, died after the stabbings at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport on 29 July.

Eight children and two adults were also seriously injured.

Merseyside Police said all of the casualties had been discharged with the exception of one child.

Leanne Lucas, a 35-year-old yoga teacher, had arranged the workshop and was believed to be leading the class. She was described as being in a "critical condition" in the aftermath.

Her cousin Chris Rimmer called her a "hero" and said she had "shielded two girls" during the attack.

Jonathan Hayes, who runs a business next door to the dance studio where the attack took place, was also in a critical condition after being stabbed in the leg.

From his hospital bed after undergoing major surgery on Tuesday, he told the BBC he was "saddened" he could not have done more to protect the victims.

As he tried to step in to save children, he came under attack himself.

Axel Muganwa Rudakubana has been charged with three counts of murder and 10 counts of attempted murder in connection with the incident.

In the days following the attack, violent disorder was seen in towns and cities across England

False claims were spread online that the person responsible was an asylum seeker who had arrived in the UK by boat and a Muslim.

The 17-year-old suspect, from Banks, Lancashire, is due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 25 October for a pre-trial preparation hearing.

The teenager, who was born to Rwandan parents in Cardiff and moved to the Southport area in 2013, has no known links to Islam.

Petrol bombs in Belfast and 'sustained violence' in Plymouth

Police officers were injured during "sustained violence" in Plymouth last night.

Devon and Cornwall Police said six arrests were made after "several officers" suffered minor injuries and two members of the public were taken to hospital.

Bricks and fireworks were launched towards officers who had attempted to keep rival demonstrations apart in the Devon port city.

Some 150 officers were deployed in the city centre, and the arrests were for a range of public order offences and assaults, police said.

Speaking at the scene, Inspector Ryan North Moore told Sky News: "This is not a protest any more. In my opinion, this is violence. This is sustained violence."

Asked how difficult it was to police the protest, he added: "It's off the scale today. With the resources we've got, it's difficult."

Meanwhile, rioters took to Belfast's streets again, with footage showing petrol bombs and missiles being thrown at police.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) warned the public to stay away from certain areas of the city as they dealt with public disorder and violence.

At least one police car was burned with several other fires blazing in the Sandy Row and Donegall Road areas in the southern part of Belfast.

Around a dozen people wearing balaclavas and masks threw petrol bombs at PSNI vehicles as riot officers formed lines.

It's undeniable that the UK has been experiencing a slow and steady decline across economic and social fronts for over a decade, with each year revealing deeper-rooted issues. The troubling question remains: what will the country resemble in the near future if this trend continues? First group of people involved in riots appear in court - with one swearing as he was taken away

People arrested in connection with riots across the country last week have appeared in court.

The riots began in Southport last Tuesday - a day after three girls were killed in a knife attack in the Merseyside town.

The demonstrations - whipped up by far-right agitators sharing misinformation about the suspect online - spread to cities and towns including Manchester, Liverpool, Middlesbrough, Rotherham and Bolton.

Hundreds of people have been arrested across the country. Here are the details of some of those who have appeared in court accused of taking part in the riots.

A 14-year-old boy - Liverpool

The youngest of those to appear in court was a 14-year-old boy - who cannot be named for legal reasons due to his age.

He said he understood how "foolish and silly" he had been after pleading guilty to violent disorder over the rioting in Liverpool city centre, a court heard.

Liverpool Magistrates' Court heard the teenager, from Liverpool, was part of a group of eight to 12 males who were lighting fireworks and setting them off in the direction of members of the public and police officers near a branch of B&M in Clayton Square that had already been looted on Saturday night.

The teenager was caught on CCTV footage with a firework in his hand but when arrested told officers: "I'm sorry, I wasn't firing them at you".

The court heard he had no previous convictions and had never been in trouble with the police before.

His lawyer Iqbal Singh Kang said the incident was "completely out of character for him and his family". The boy's father and uncle were in court.

He said the youngster went to the city centre to catch a bus and amid the "widescale disorder across the city became involved with people he didn't know who were offering out various fireworks".

Mr Kang said the teenager was held in police custody for two days, adding: "Now he's thought it through properly he understands how foolish and silly he has been and wishes he could turn the clock back."

The teenager was granted bail, with a condition he does not enter Liverpool city centre, ahead of sentencing on 27 August.

William Nelson Morgan - Liverpool

A 69-year-old welder, the oldest to appear in court so far, has admitted his role in Saturday's riots in Liverpool, where he came armed with a wooden bat.

William Nelson Morgan, from Walton, pleaded guilty to violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon at Liverpool Magistrates' Court.

The court heard around 100 people set fire to bins, damaged local businesses, and set fire to other buildings in County Road, Walton, on Saturday night.

Morgan, who had no previous convictions, was said to be part of a crowd involved in throwing bricks and had a wooden bat or cosh with him.

District Judge Timothy Boswell remanded him in custody ahead of sentencing at Liverpool Crown Court on 29 August.

Leanne Hodgson - Sunderland

A 43-year-old woman has pleaded guilty to violent disorder after being seen on footage pushing a large bin towards a police line during unrest in Sunderland.

Leanne Hodgson denied being involved in the original march but said she had been out drinking and became involved in the disorder when the pub closed, South Tyneside Magistrates Court heard.

John Garside, prosecuting, said "there was a large crowd cheering and joining in" as Hodgson pushed the bin at officers.

The defendant, who the court was told has a "long-running alcohol problem," was remanded in custody to be sentenced on 2 September.

Derek Drummond - Southport

Derek Drummond, 58, admitted punching a police officer in the face during a riot in Southport. Members of his family wept as he appeared in court.

The Southport resident pleaded guilty to violent disorder and assault during last Tuesday's violence in the Merseyside town.

The prosecutor told Liverpool Magistrates' Court the officer was trying to protect his colleagues as they put their riot gear on, when Drummond called them "shithouses" and punched the officer in the face.

Body-worn video footage captured the incident, which left the officer with cuts and bruises, while Drummond was struck with a baton.

The prosecutor said he was part of the group that began throwing bricks, having broken down a garden wall, although the court heard he denied throwing bricks himself.

Drummond was remanded in custody ahead of sentencing at Liverpool Crown Court on 29 August.

As he left the dock, he spoke to two female family members, who were in tears throughout the hearing.

Adam Wharton and Ellis Wharton - Liverpool

Two brothers appeared at Liverpool Magistrates' Court accused of crimes relating to a library which was set on fire during the riots.

28-year-old Adam Wharton appeared first, admitting burglary with intent to steal from the Spellow Lane Library Hub, which suffered severe damage to the ground floor due to the fire.

The library was opened last year to provide support for one of the most deprived communities in the country.

Wharton, who has 16 previous convictions for 26 offences, including robbery and burglary, stood in the dock at Liverpool Magistrates' Court wearing a grey, prison-issue tracksuit.

As he left the dock, Wharton said: "Nice one, shitty **** judge man."

His younger brother Ellis Wharton, 22, admitted trying to steal a computer screen from the library - but denied assaulting a police officer.

Merseyside Police said about 300 people were involved in violent disorder on County Road, Walton, on Saturday night, which included community facilities being set on fire.

District Judge Timothy Boswell remanded both in custody ahead of their next appearance at Liverpool Crown Court on 29 August.

Declan Geiran - Liverpool

A 29-year-old man has admitted arson after trying to set a police van on fire during the riots in Liverpool city centre.

The vehicle had been parked on William Brown Street on Saturday night after being abandoned by officers and the flames were extinguished before significant damage or harm could be caused, police previously said.

Declan Geiran, from Liverpool, who was arrested with three lighters, pleaded guilty to violent disorder and arson at Liverpool Magistrates' Court.

The court heard CCTV footage showed him with other people in a group before using an implement to set the van on fire.

Geiran has 13 previous convictions for 18 offences, including breach of a community order and a malicious communications offence.

District Judge Timothy Boswell remanded him in custody ahead of sentencing on 30 August at Liverpool Crown Court.

Liam Riley - Liverpool

A rioter called police officers "traitors" and "Muslim lovers" when he was arrested over the widespread disorder in Liverpool on Saturday, a court has heard.

Liam Riley, 41, from Kirkdale, pleaded guilty to violent disorder and a racially aggravated public order offence at Liverpool Magistrates' Court.

The court heard he was part of a crowd of around 100 people who were throwing rocks and bricks, and had smashed a shop window.

Riley stood his ground, shouting and waving his arms, as the rest of the group ran from police, said prosecutor Joshua Sanderson-Kirk.

As he was detained, Riley called officers "traitors" and "Muslim lovers", and appeared to have drunk a lot of alcohol, he said.

The court heard he was found with a poster that said "this is our city" and told police "having heard about the march through word of mouth attended in solidarity wearing a St George's flag".

Riley, the last of 11 people to appear in court over rioting in Southport, Liverpool city centre and Walton today, was remanded in custody ahead of sentencing at Liverpool Crown Court on 30 August.

This is true, hence the hindus of empire gave them the title of the British Raj, a hindu term of reverence.

But attacking innocent Sri Lankan shopkeepers, or rampaging through residential streets breaking windows and setting cars on fire is only damaging the nation. Police who are there to protect the public are being attacked and put in hospital. This can't be allowed to continue if white Britain doesn't want to be lumped as a third world country where mob riots are commonplace.

Man in hospital with police treating injuries as racially-motivated hate crime

In Belfast, a man in his 50s has been taken to hospital after he was seriously assaulted during disorder in the south of the Northern Irish capital last night.

Witnesses reported seeing attackers stamp on his head, police say.

His condition is described as serious and police are treating the incident as a racially-motivated hate crime.

The attack happened in the Donegall Road area, close to Sandy Row, where police officers also came under "sustained attack" over a number of hours. Petrol bombs, masonry and bricks were thrown towards police. Petrol was also poured over a Land Rover and set alight.

During the course of the serious disorder, officers discharged two Attenuating Energy Projectiles (AEPs), with one rioter struck on the hand.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of riotous behaviour and remains in police custody.

Northern Ireland's Communities Minister Gordon Lyons has said there is "no justification whatsoever" for violence: "It needs to stop and it needs to stop straight away."

Starmer has been slow to put it mildly. Thankfully there has been no loss of life but the Police and the communities have been left fend for themselves and thugs have had free reign. I am hoping that behind the scenes they are working tirelessly to identify and nail these criminals

TBH you won't find a more welcoming country like Britain or Europe for that matter. I have lived here for last decade and a half and can vouch for that. However, if for example you go to a street in Delhi or Karachi and you only see foreigners there, places which are almost a no go zone for native people we won't be very pleased. And if those foreigners have history of extremism and only want to implement their culture without trying to assimilate, people will speak up. This is exactly what is happening in Britain which people are gas lighting it as Far Right extremists.

So vandalizing Mosques, decimating muslim Graves, setting businesses alight is not Far right extremism?

Then again Modhi hindutwa brigade see that as normal practice.

28 people charged after riots in Middlesbrough

Twenty-eight suspects will appear in court on Tuesday following disorder in Middlesbrough on Sunday - as forces in other parts of the country charged people with alleged offences committed online during the UK-wide riots.

Those set to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court have been charged with violent disorder and other offences. The court has set aside a remand court to deal with those appearing today, police said.

It comes as six people are due to appear at Sheffield Magistrates' Court following rioting outside a hotel which housed migrants in Rotherham on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Nottinghamshire Police has charged eight people in connection with disorder that broke out in Nottingham city centre.

The first riot broke out in Southport last Tuesday in the wake of a stabbing attack that left three young girls dead. False information circulated online claimed that the suspect, who it later emerged was born in the UK, was an asylum seeker who arrived in the UK by boat.

Social media posts reportedly encouraged rioting and disorder in the days that followed as widespread violence was seen across the UK.

Earlier today, West Yorkshire Police said it charged a 28-year-old man with using "threatening words or behaviour intending to stir up racial hatred".

The Crown Prosecution Service said the charge related to alleged Facebook posts made between 1 and 5 August.

Parlour will appear at Leeds Magistrates' Court this morning.

Elon Musk's UK 'civil war' post criticised by Starmer

Sir Keir Starmer has condemned comments by Elon Musk suggesting that "civil war is inevitable" following violent unrest in the UK.

The owner of X, formerly Twitter, posted the remarks on the platform in response to a video showing people aiming fireworks at police.

The prime minister's spokesperson said there was "no justification" for Mr Musk's comments, adding there was more that social media companies "can and should be doing".

Justice Minister Heidi Alexander also criticised the tech billionaire for his "totally unjustifiable" and "pretty deplorable" comments.

Disorder has now lasted almost week, following the fatal stabbing of three girls in Southport. The subsequent unrest in towns and cities across England and in parts of Northern Ireland has been fuelled by misinformation online, the far-right and anti-immigration sentiment.

Following Mr Musk's post about civil war on Saturday, he has continued to comment on the unrest in the UK.

Mr Musk replied to a post on X from the prime minister - in which Sir Keir said he would not tolerate attacks on mosques or Muslim communities - asking: "Shouldn't you be concerned about attacks on *all* communities?"

The tech billionaire has also replied to a post criticising UK policing, suggesting the police's response "does seem one-sided".

'Pretty deplorable'

Commenting on Mr Musk's remarks, Ms Alexander told BBC Breakfast that he “has a responsibility given the huge platform he has, and so, to be honest, I think his comments are pretty deplorable”.

Mr Musk has more than 192 million followers on the platform.

When asked about accusations of two-tier policing in the UK, Ms Alexander said that was a "baseless assertion" that does a “disservice to police men and women who go out to do their jobs and uphold the rule of law”.

She added social media companies had a "moral responsibility" to call for calm and help clamp down on misinformation.

The PM's spokesperson also said social media firms "have a responsibility" to ensure criminal activity - including from those outside the UK - is not being shared online and state actors may be amplifying misinformation.

But they would not say which countries the government believes are behind the posts.

On Monday, Technology Secretary Peter Kyle said he had met representatives from TikTok, Facebook’s parent company Meta, Google and X “to make clear their responsibility to continue to work with us to stop the spread of hateful misinformation and incitement”.

The Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has also said the government would not tolerate "arm chair thuggery" and social media companies need to "take responsibility" over online posts encouraging criminality.

The BBC has approached X, Meta, TikTok and Snap for comment.

Offences concerning incitement under UK law predate social media, and are listed under the Public Order Act 1986.

This may include provoking violence and harassment, as well as engaging in rioting.

Meanwhile the Online Safety Act, which became law in 2023 but has not yet fully come into effect, will require social media firms to "take robust action against illegal content and activity", including "racially or religiously aggravated" offences as well as inciting violence.

The criminal offences introduced by the act will cover sending "threatening communications" online, and sharing "false information intended to cause non-trivial harm".

On Monday, Sir Keir emphasised that "criminal law applies online as well as offline".

Social media involvement

Mr Musk's comments have drawn criticism from some online, with satirist Armando Iannucci saying the Tesla and Space X CEO had been "taken in by your own platform, which amplifies noise at the expense of facts".

Sunder Katwala, director of think tank British Future, said the post was "spreading a narrative that is crucial to socialising people with fairly extreme view towards condoning violence to protect their group".

He said there needs to be "strong responses from government, Ofcom, and parliament" to the comments.

An Ofcom spokesperson told BBC News it is "moving quickly" to implement the Online Safety Act, so it can be enforced "as soon as possible".

"When it comes fully into force, tech firms will have to assess the risk of illegal content on their platforms, take steps to stop it appearing and act quickly to remove it when they become aware of it," they said.

"We expect the illegal harms duties to come into force from around the end of the year... and the additional duties on the largest services in 2026."

You have no knowledge of Hindi and Sanskrit and you are giving your own interpretation to:)) the words. :)

White Britain or for that matter all Britain needs to stop illegal immigrants. It will indeed turn into third world otherwise.

If you see, the actual outcry among those resisting immigrants is actually against illegal immigrants.

The government needs to sit down with all stakeholders and find a way.

I have very fond memories of London, great city. Hope it remains the same.

The UK is a country of laws and if what you call extremists are not breaking any laws, then who are you to decide what an extremist is. This is just lazy labels by people who don't like Muslims. If the govt thinks these people are threat to the peace and security then lock them up. But even more interesting is that idiots Luke you are never going to use these labels like these for the thugs that are beating people up, burning property and beating up our Police. You guys are groomed by the right and you think you are one of them. But as we know the right will always find a target. Whether they were the Irish, the Jews, the blacks and now the Muslims, they find enemies.

White Britons or Britons of any colour can stop illegal immigrants if they really want to, but rampaging through the streets smashing up properties owned legally by citizens of the country is not the way to do it - although maybe in India it is seen as a solution.

London is a great city and will remain so, although many white Brits might no longer recognise areas like Wembley and Southall where pubs have been converted from pubs into hindu temples.

But the 70s and 80s there was no illegal immigration but the NF was going around **** bashing. Explain that to me

no its not. The far right dont like *any* immigration. Heck they were against Polish/Romanian/hungarian who are usually poorer but still white immigrants.

All brown people are pakis to them, no matter if you are a taxi driver or software engineer or working at a supermarket.

I think it will help greatly if you ask the 2mn Inds to leave the UK.

According to the 2021/22 census, 1,927,150 people of Indian origin live in the United Kingdom, which is 2.9% of the population. This makes them the largest non-white ethnic group in the UK and the largest subgroup of British Asians

Indians live and contribute to UK that's why they are among the richest communities. They are not involved in terrorist activities either.

May be the community that is languishing at the bottom of UK's economic ladder, with highest proportional prison population and involvement in terrorist activities should leave first.

Many Indians who don't live here seem to be under the impression that Indian immigrants are popular with the white Brits, but this is not true. You only have to look at the rage getting put through to an Indian call centre ensues. Many British businesses specifically advertise now that they have UK based call centres as a selling point of people fed up of listening to thick Indian accents trying to pretend their name is Bob, Sue or Rita.

But in the eyes of a Reformer MP, a useless Pxxx.

These guys that are rioting see colour( their sponsors are much more cleverer) not how rich they are. So to help ease their concerns tell your fellow countrymen to go back. That's 2mn less, problem solved

Interesting that the Yaxley Lennon tries to play the good migrants, bad migrants game, while the useful idiots see brown as Foreign
