He was always called the next Pakistan captain but he was never up to the mark with his performance. Him and Irfan Niazi can't play anything above 135k+ would have been a waste of another space for Shaheen as well like Irfan and Umar Plus Rohail can't play spin as well.

If umar amin is there, Why not take a guy who still has some career left. Umar main is a wasted effort now.

Most definitely as he doesn't have what it takes to play for the national side. his mediocre stats reflect that as well just like Saif Badar , Atleast Saif had natural talent which couldn't translate in to success , Rohail has none.

Yes. There was no need for Umar Amin in the squad. PCB needs to learn that these 35-36 year old guys need no investment.

Good move. I was waiting for this to happen as Imad Wasim probably doesnt have a lot fo interest for first class cricket. Muhammad Wasim has been pretty good (compared to the other domestic coaches) as he has kept on playing and trying the youngsters rather than seniors who rarely perform

I still think Pakistan needs a fixed formula for Test cricket, not the best 11 players.
