I'm not sold on usama mir yes he bowls some good deliveries but he is inaccurate and cannot stifle the runs and balls too many freebies

Your definition of " pretty well " surprised me , Hasan has been pathetic through out the WC and never was even close to bowling "pretty well ". Glad he is there where he belongs, out of the playing 11.

Pretty well as compared to the others seems fair enough to me. If we were comparing to Shami or Starc then no, but compared to Rauf then pretty well is about right.

Hasan had no business in Pakistan team , after he has been a club level bowler for last two years, but when he managed to get the services of the manager from Inzi's company, he got selected and was in the playing eleven. They made it sure Wasim won;t get any opportunity but when Hasan was down with fever , Wasim got a chance and never looked back.

It's definitely worth thinking about, even though Pakistan pacers aren't much use either until the halfway stage, are they still a better bet than Pak's useless spinners?

Which is fine but that means we are relying on Shaheen getting something with the new ball and a plethora of useless spinners until the 40th over. We need another pace bowler who can move it off the seam, but Pakistan produces very few.

Yes, agreed. Only good new ball bowlers I can remember in recent is Shaheen and Naseem. We really need to produce 3-4 more of these type of bowlers, already have so many death bowlers and more waiting in the wings like Zaman Khan.

Thoughts go back to the last WT20 in Aus. Wasim Jnr could have been lethatl there as the 4th seamer. Even then our selection was all wrong, playing only 3 pacers and feeding teams 8 overs of spin.

Aus not so sure, but against Afghanistan he could have made a difference, Hasan has become a 125Ks trundler. Should never play for Pak again. Its just pathetic the way Pak has messed up team selection during this WC. Babar is the main culprit here!

Poor Hasan has been plucked out of England county division 1 and told to bowl on roads in India as if he’s a robot that can simply adjust to conditions automatically.

Neither is very impressive but both have their merits. It’s good to have a bit of competition. I guess it depends on pitch and conditions against new Zealand but I’m very worried about seeing Nawaz or usama playing against them.

Hassan Ali will either keep things tight, if he goes for runs he will end up picking 3-4 wickets. He is a better option than the unreliable Shadab and Usama. One thing Pakistan will have to focus on is the over rate if they go for 4 pacers.

Hasan has become a 125Ks trundler. He is done. Junior bowls at 140Ks plus. Maybe not the best, but would always play him over a trundler.

That’s very hard to do. Almost impossible. If you miss a Yorker by an inch it’s a juicy half volley that goes for 6. Yorker has to be a surprise…bouncer -Yorker- slower ball-length but all on off stump. The problem with Hasan is he hasn’t played much Odi recently so looks really rusty.
