Your definition of " pretty well " surprised me , Hasan has been pathetic through out the WC and never was even close to bowling "pretty well ". Glad he is there where he belongs, out of the playing 11.
Given the low quality spin option they might as well go with 4 seamers against certain sides.
Yes, agreed. Only good new ball bowlers I can remember in recent is Shaheen and Naseem. We really need to produce 3-4 more of these type of bowlers, already have so many death bowlers and more waiting in the wings like Zaman Khan.Which is fine but that means we are relying on Shaheen getting something with the new ball and a plethora of useless spinners until the 40th over. We need another pace bowler who can move it off the seam, but Pakistan produces very few.
Aus not so sure, but against Afghanistan he could have made a difference, Hasan has become a 125Ks trundler. Should never play for Pak again. Its just pathetic the way Pak has messed up team selection during this WC. Babar is the main culprit here!Arthur and Morne Morkel should be sent home when the WC finishes for not realising that WasimJr. Is the second best fast bowler in this squad, pathetic the Saya Corp. Destroyed it, who knows result against AFG, Aus might have been different
Agreed. It’s a nice idea that we should play spinners in India but our spinners are useless. Both Hassan and Wasim should play Usama should be dropped.
I was surprised Agha didn't even bowl a single over against Bangladesh.our spinners are not even good enough to play club cricket.Agreed. It’s a nice idea that we should play spinners in India but our spinners are useless.
Shaheen and Hasan can share the new ball while Rauf and Wasim take the middle overs.
Spin duty can be shared by Ifti and Salman.
It’s this sort of “below the belt” thinking that Babar always said he’d do so let’s see.

Should drop Haris Rauf in Banglore against New ZealandPlay both and drop a spinner
Or drop rauf
Indian pitches aren't cooked for express deliveries
Wasim has just taken a couple of tail end Bangladesh wickets and now he’s touted as the saviour that could have been.
Poor Hasan has been plucked out of England county division 1 and told to bowl on roads in India as if he’s a robot that can simply adjust to conditions automatically.
Neither is very impressive but both have their merits. It’s good to have a bit of competition. I guess it depends on pitch and conditions against new Zealand but I’m very worried about seeing Nawaz or usama playing against them.
Hasan Ali, who ?, the aged guy with no height and pace and no performance over last two years ?I would drop that full toss master Usama Mir and play Hasan Ali
So bowling line up will be:
Shaheen
Hasan
Wasim
Rauf
Ifti
Agha
He has improved a ton since last year. Rare to see a Pak player improve and not regress.Wasim bowled very well n fast consistently against South Africa as well.....he was consistently over 140.
He needs to be presisted with n given a long run.....only then he will prove.
Plus he has the technique to be a decent all rounder.
And he will go back to normal. His action makes it difficult to consistently repeatHe has improved a ton since last year. Rare to see a Pak player improve and not regress.
Hasan Ali is impactless. He is an honest trier and never bowls total rubbish but by being in the team shows the opposition your coming to a full battle with a plastic knifeHassan Ali ahead of a spinner makes sense based on current form.
But because it's NZ and England the remaining opponents, the Pakistani think-tank might prefer playing a spinner.

Hasan Ali shouldn't be there. An honest trier but nothing bowler.Hassan Ali will either keep things tight, if he goes for runs he will end up picking 3-4 wickets. He is a better option than the unreliable Shadab and Usama. One thing Pakistan will have to focus on is the over rate if they go for 4 pacers.
Wood had the same issueThey are if you can stop serving up half volleys.
Hasan has become a 125Ks trundler. He is done. Junior bowls at 140Ks plus. Maybe not the best, but would always play him over a trundler.Wasim has just taken a couple of tail end Bangladesh wickets and now he’s touted as the saviour that could have been.

That’s very hard to do. Almost impossible. If you miss a Yorker by an inch it’s a juicy half volley that goes for 6. Yorker has to be a surprise…bouncer -Yorker- slower ball-length but all on off stump. The problem with Hasan is he hasn’t played much Odi recently so looks really rusty. Why can't he just try to bowl 60 yorkers in 10 overs? He needs to train in the nets keeping this in mind.
