I realise the fact that he didn't have much control over his line and length and wasn't accurate enough but he had two special skills, the current bowling attack lacks. He could effortlessly bowl over 140kph regularly and had the ability bowl reverse swinging Yorkers. In addition, could have been an explosive batsman down the order. He certainly had guts as witnessed when he batted with a torn hamstring in a test vs Sri Lanka, which sadly became his last test. Our fans are quick to write off people but the fact is we have to do with what we have. Azhar Mahmoud could definetly guide Bilawal in becoming a more accurate bowler. :bhatti

He is a mediocre bowler, lacks the wickets taking ability, I'm sure this season LQ may not give him many games and Aamir Yamin will be preferred over him. Bhatti is man of the match in his last international match though!

Saw him in the recent T20 National cup and he bowled really well. Too bad he was part of a mediocre side.

He was very inconsistent when he arrived but he was quick, could bowl yorkers and was handy with the bat.

Since then, he seems to have developed into an effective fc bowler, so maybe try him in the test side? We're lacking a genuine 3rd seamer, maybe his pace would be a good addition.

He is not that good . There are better players than him , so he will not make the team.

Just wasn't good enough. His overall RR in all formats was nearly 6.00 and even failed to perform against Zimbabwe.

He is a mediocre bowler. He should find some other sports. Cricket is not for him.

They come do well in one, two games then go away to the mediocre standard of Pakistani domestic cricket.

I don't think he was as bad as people think. He had raw pace which cannot be coached and was a decent batsman too. People should see his exploits vs South Africa. Deserves another go, let's see what Mickey and Azhar can make out of him.

He definitely has potential as bowler in LOI's, don't have much faith in his batting or his skills for Test matches.

Could do the Umar Gul role in death overs if he becomes accurate enough. Might also whack a few like Hasan Ali does. Needs a lot of hard work though.

Tbh he was good until he was made to play Test Cricket and then he vanished

Anwar Ali and Bhatti performed better than Ashraf but that doesn’t make them great players.

Currently playing for Hem Heath in the Stafforshire League.

How did he drop off from the PSL radar ? He had the making of a good T20 player. Good pace, guess I have seen him bowling yorker & can whack a few at 8.

I remember him smashing Dale Steyn in 2013.

Too bad he was really short.

He was hard done by. Was a real match winner. I still remember his test innings batting with a badly torn hamstring for his country.

I wonder why they gave Anwar Ali more chances than him. He could clock 145 kph and also was a better batsman than both Anwar or Faheem.

His career was over when Maxwell smashed him for 30 runs in an over

On the concluding day of the President's Trophy 2023-24 Final, Bilawal Bhatti showed his batting prowess, securing his 3rd First-Class hundred with an impressive 101 runs off 114 deliveries for SNGPL.

His innings played a pivotal role as SNGPL set an imposing target of 686 for victory, ultimately securing a commanding win by 519 runs over WAPDA.

Pakistan cricket at one point was at such an all time low that the likes of Bilawal Bhatti & Anwar Ali were actually useful for a brief period.

Bilawal Bhatti is still shining in domestic cricket. He has not been provided consistent chances in the Pakistan team, but he is doing a great job in domestic cricket. In the ongoing President's Cup, he has taken 3 wickets for 20 runs in 5 overs for SNGPL against WAPDA.

In consideration of his performance in the ongoing President's Cup 2024, Bilawal Bhatti has taken 6 wickets in 4 matches so far, with an economy rate of 4.56. Does he deserve a chance to come back into the ODI side?
