Virat Kohli now averages 50+ in ODIs in all countries except Sri Lanka and West Indies

Dont how to put an excel table on the forum like how [MENTION=53377]jeetu[/MENTION] does, but following are the stats

1. SL

Played 13 matches in the first 2 years of his career in SL (2008 - 2010), and he averaged 22 in that period.
Scored 273 runs in 13 innings with 1 50 @ 22
Then in the next 10 matches he has scored, 616 runs @ 88 with 4 100s and 1 50

2. WI

Played 10 matches over 2 series in 2011 and 2013 and averaged 34.7 in that period with 1 century and 2 50s. Scored 347 runs in 10 innings @ 34.7

In the last series in 2017, from 5 matches, scored 244 runs, with 1 century and 1 50 @ 81.

Thanks for that.. Proves the fact that kohli’s Average in SL/WI is due to him being new to the team and learning.. He has improved a lot as a batsmen and athlete so if he plays more over there in next 5 years the average will only improve..

P.S. before people say Babar Azam is also new but he didn’t have poor series in SL/WI, Kohli has become a different batsmen in last 4 years when he started out he was a talented player but as a batsman was average.. No one has put as much effort as Kohli..
