Visiting Bangladesh

It seems like I’ve hit a nerve by telling you about Mumbai’s Asias largest slum Dharavi? And the pooping beach? now you seem desperate to change the topic to make Mumbai look good.
Is that all you got? You comparing little your developments with BD’s? How about you compare with China’s? The country think you can compete with.
Yes, I agree Mumbai is not at the level of Hong Kong and Sanghai yet but not very far from those cities either. There is a reason every big corporation around the world has offices in all these big Asian cities. However, the gap between Mumbai and Dhaka is as big as the gap between India and BD cricket team :ROFLMAO: :yk

Yes bro...awesome place. I would request you to ditch BD plan and visit Mumbai as well.

Bandstand beach, Ambani's house, Mannat (SRKs house), Taj Mahal Hotel, Gateway of India, Sea link...so many awesome places.

I wouldnt mind but can you show me a 360 of the image you sent. Those towers makes it seem Bombay is like Dubai, which we know isnt the case. There is poverty is most of Asia, no need for any countrymen to be ashamed of this.

You take 360 degree of any city, you will find good or bad places. Are you saying entire Dubai beautiful? It has its own share of rough places where labour contractors live in poor conditions. Same is with London, you will find slums in the shape of Ilford, upton park or most of East London. Similarly, Mumbai also has good or bad areas. Only Dhaka is unique as it has no good areas and most congested city in the world.

i have visited Dhaka few times, mostly for business. A cousine of mine has a jeans brand and stitching is done in TN in India and near Dhaka. Dhaka is a horrible place to visit as a visitor. There is not much to see there apart from dust. Food is fine, nothing you won't find anywhere else. But if you are a foreigner who has not seen big bustly city full of people, Dhaka will be fasicnating.

By the way it is very much the same in Kolkata. Nothing much to see apart from the history which is not maintained at all. Hardly anyone knowledgeable enough to talk about their history and historical buildings. The guides themselves seem to not care at all. If you go to some of the historical places in south India, the guides are very knowledgeable and passionate to explain and talk about the place. In Kolkata they talk as if they are doing you a favor. In Dhaka we didn't even find a guide to show us the city.

I visited Dhaka once in 2011. Unreal! The chaos has to be seen to be believed. It's nothing like Kolkata, which is hardly flash either.

Other South Asian cities - Colombo, Kathmandu are much better than Indian cities. But Dhaka was atrocious.

Check the two links above.

I recommend you to check travel vlogs from YouTube. These guys are professional travelers (many are western travelers) and they can give you better insights.

If you rely on opinions of Indian posters here, you are likely to get biased and negative views since they are anti-Bangladesh.

Even then he may not get Indian Visa.

Doesn't matter what passport he holds, his Pakistani origin means he will be treated as a Pakistani only.

Biman Bangladesh flies direct between London and Dhaka. He can take that flight.
@KingKhanWC is it worth the hassle and aggro to visit a place you certainly wont be welcome in. The locals will see to that.
Your better off visiting Israel

Most Indians are not like the Indian government, BJP/RSS or like most Indian posters on here. I grew up in the UK, Indians here esp women have been more than welcoming to me. Besides all land belongs to God, Modi may think he created the natural beauty of India or @Bhaijaan might think some ancient Hindu superweapon did but there is only ONE God, he has no borders.

Besides when I visit I will donate to some poor people, my taxes have been helping them for decades now.

Do say more. :yk

Joking aside, I share these sentiments, there is no enmity between the communities here.
