What's new

Want to design the next Pakistan shirt?

Nice ideas, Britstani. How about getting rid of the 'PAKISTAN' text, and adding a gold border around the star?

Hi, this is my attempt hand drawn. Scanning it made it a bit blurry but you'll get the gist! :)

Hope it's not too late!

Pak kit 2012 design.JPG

Based on Adidas Climacool Shirt. Modified to only feature 2 stripes.

Pakistan Logo, I couldn't make the Urdu writing, but you get the idea,
PCB is written to represent our board. This is seen on all major kits for example, england have ECB.

One black star, to show that we have won the Cricket World Cup once in 1992.

Pepsi logo is reduced in size. In my opinion a big one looks too tacky.

PAKISTAN written in edgy, and blocky style writing, to show that we are a team on the edge with raw talent. Rounded lettering shows lack of aggression, which is normally seen on our recent kits.

**This is just a mock up. My design skills are poor. However I hope you like my design. Something like this could retail for 30gbp. People need to understand that printed kits are out of date, whereas solid colours give a premium and solid look.**

Awesome design, clean and professional looking. Maybe change the colors to more Pakistani green and gold. But the layout is perfect. I would wear this shirt all the time.

Must say, cricketmerijaan's is one of the best I've seen so far.

3 stripes will have to go though as that's Adidas's design - perhaps they can be replaced by something else?

Very nice one Britstani ! i will forward these on, also post back of the shirt designs please.

Good looking top but replace Pakistan with South Africa and it's the Proteas kit.

Ok then, can you remove afridi from it and send it to me? If its ok can I use it for the pakistan team leagues kit? Brilliant work

For those that weren't aware, the 2011 World Cup shirt was actually based on a design by a PakPassion member based in Saudi Arabia.

Boom Boom saw the design on PP and really liked it.......

Looks like WT20 2012 shirt concept was taken from here.

Is there still a picture of it?

This thread is probably dead but thought I'd leave this here. Went for the traditional dark green and a bit of white as I don't think we've ever had it? Blue is there 'cause thought it looked pretty cool for contrast

Says a lot about these professional kit designers, when fans on here have posted some of the best examples of how kits should actually look like.

We've obviously failed to see the same from people the board are paying a contract to.

Cheers pal! Yeah haha, India have Nike, England and SA have New Balance, Australia have Asics - about time we found a proper kit supplier. I've got a couple more on the way, Adidas, Reebok and Under Armour concepts, will post them up later

Good job- looks professional.

Personally, I would prefer more of a contrast in the main part of the shirt. Also not a fan of the neon green but that could just be me.

Seriously sublime kit. Great job

I'd however add a few things to it

1. Those neon green under the armpit things because they look so rad.
2. A big star on top of the badge and a tiny one under it (one for ODI wc and one for t20 wc)
3. Smaller pepsi logo - it is too big for my liking.

Other than that, this kit is a sight to behold for the sore eyes.

ODI

T20I

I hope this can be a good realistic option, stylish but not too funky.
Saj I would love if u could forward this.

Thanks a lot mate, made some changes. Made the Pepsi logo smaller and added the stars in different positions

I believe PCB on their social media page had a contest for fans to send in designs for the next pakistan shirt. I believe the deadline has passed for it already but would be intresting to see if they select a fan based design

Is their Any news on the PCB kit design contest.

Pakistan has already played their first ODI, I was under the impression, they would have a new kit due to this contest.

Does anyone know when PCB will make their decision, and for the selected jersey when would it be used.

the current odi kit is really nice, understated with good use of green shades and white, so glad they got rid of the yellow.

Nothing comes close to 1992 & 1999 outfit.

Light green is more pleasing to the eye

So Pakistan next limited over series is against Netherlands in August does anyone know if around this time the winner of PCB kit design would be announced

So this contest for Pakistan cricket kit design was announced a while bag, we had a couple of series now, and no changes in the kit. When do PCB plan to announce the winner.
