I dont understand, not to mention how disgusting and unhygienic this is. Why would anyone vote for such a person?

Just disgusting.

How can anyone do this?

He could've used a towel or something.

Sorry, Im not expert on this technique.

Must be vote bank trick.

Would you vote for an MP who cleans such toilets with bare hands?

Absolutely not.

If he cleans toilet using bare hand, he is clearly not fit to be elected. It shows his common sense is lacking.

A Brahmin guy cleaning toilets with bare hands. Good to see what untouchables used to do until a few decades ago.

I agree but it seems this isnt the first time, so using the old tactic of stick to what works.

Or is this because of the recent news of young athletes eating food in the toilets?

Wonder what is Modi's view on this?

Obviously a vote bank trick. Appeasing the scheduled caste people who traditionally did menial jobs.

To be honest, this might be the only thing worthwhile he did in his tenure. Others do not even come out of their A/C cars and offices.

I doubt he even did a good job without using brushes etc.

He also put himself at risk of disease. As a voter, I wouldnt vote for a person to run anything , not even toilets.

lol, if u think getting brahmins to clean loos like dalits were expected to is a mark of progress u are officially nuts, the aim should be for no one to have to clean a toilet with their bare hands rather than for anyone to.

As mentioned above by another poster, if these are the stories that pop up on your feed, it reveals the reader's interest. The algorithm feeds stories based on people's other search results.

I have no desire to discuss this and encourage this fetish of yours. :sachin

Indian posters upset this government member is exposing the myth of a world shuppapower :)))

You may have a point tho... maybe Iits his fetish, second time doing this. What is the Hindu term for this fetish and does Modi do this in his spare time?

cricketjoshila bhai you will tell us the truth. Is this a vote bank gimmick or his little hobby?

Exactly, cleaning with bare hands isnt the best way to show cleanliness.

When I read the thread title I thought he was using some sort of utensil.

This is just super weird.

Serious question - Could dalits not use any utensils?

I get the thing about cleaning toilets etc but why the need to do with the skin touching the toilet.

Dalits can use utensils. Most do not care about caste in cities or towns. I am sure in rural areas where everyone knows everyone, the situation can be different.

I see people cleaning toilets with traditional bleach and liquids with brooms made of dry coconut leaves. Never seen anyone use bare hands. May be in old days or some centuries ago. I don’t know.

Untouchables were untouchable because of the cleaning jobs they did. They were considered impure.

These days everyone cleans their own toilet. Cleanup your own mess.

Fair play man, he’s willing to touch someone else’s **** just for a photo-op… shows you they’ll do anything just for power.
