Fakhar Zaman speaking ahead of the T20I series:

"We are very confident after the way we won the Test series as that really gave us a big boost"

"I hope that we will be able to repeat our Test performances in the T20Is as well"

"We aren't thinking much about Australia but working on what is in our hands [areas of strengths]"

"We have had some great sessions [of practice] and the boys are really enjoying it"

"In cricket, good and bad days do come for anyone and Asia Cup was not our best time but its past"

"We are all working hard and when you work hard, it is hoped that all results will be good"

"Every cricketer wants to represent his country but I never thought I would be playing so much cricket [so many formats] for my country"

"Now that I am at this level, its up to me to take this forward and get lot of success for my country"

"I have been supported by team management at all times and I never got the feeling that if I wasnt scoring runs, I would be left out of the team"

"Even when I was not scoring runs or when I was out on the first ball, I was told by the coaching staff to continue working hard, that I am the main player for the team"

"This gives a lot of boost to your confidence and also removes the fear of failure from the player's mind as is the case with me"

"Obviously, [looking for] 3-0 win against Australia in the this series"

Good of Pak management to give confidence to Fakhar - really needs some more good scores against some quality oppositions like Australia.

Expecting Finch and Zaman to win one match each for their teams and 3rd one to be decided by whichever team's batting collapses worse.

You should never predict anything in cricket, especially a T20 format where any side can win.

I don't lose sleep over the results of T20I series outside the World T20. I get we need to stage T20I series to recoup the costs of hosting Test series in the UAE. But our priority needs to be the ODI and Test teams.

The only things that interest me in this series are whether Sahibzada Farhan and Hussain Talat are cut out for international cricket, and if Shaheen Afridi can show more signs of development.

At least he didn't say he is aiming to score 300 runs.

That last T20 series against Aus was not exactly a walk in the park.

Australia not looking too good so Fakhar prediction may be right!
