We have batted very well and bowled ok but just had no luck with so many plays and misses etc.

We need to survive the last day and hope to actually get some luck in Sydney.

its tempting to say that. and who knows they might get it as well.
But the no-balls and not pitching up the ball....thats an issue, they need to rectify.

Amir not pitching it up Wahab overstepping is more discipline induced thing then luck based.

There were though a lot of short and wide filth that were easy to put away and allowed the AUS batsmen to settle. Watching back the highlights I'm shocked at how loose some of our bowling was.

It was embarrassing to see Sohail Khan trundling in and letting out an almighty grunt before delivering 125k dollies outside off

Generally, very few 'lucky' teams lose a match.

Its down to the same old cliché...you make your own luck. If you play well, luck will also go your way.

I think Pakistan is already enjoying the luck, the rain Gods have shielded them from getting beaten by a team as ordinary as Australia, that's embarrassing enough what more do you want, although there are still 90 more overs. More importantly there is light at the end of the tunnel as soon as misbah retires, provided someone is picked as a captain with some brain cells.

Appreciate the opponent. You guys played well but Australia, even an ordinary team right now, is playing better even without any big names.

They deserve "luck" more than Pakistan if we go by only performance.

Hopefully we get a chance to bat at Sydney when the sun is out. So far we've only been batting under cloud cover and lights across both Test matches whilst our bowlers have had to toil away under blue skies once the Aussies have come to bat.

they are the best players from australia have played long enough and are the biggest names, what you meant is that they are still not good enough.

We would done alot better if we had a captain who was interested in actually winning the matches and not just someone who wants to safely pass the time before he is allowed to hang his boots.

Luck already brought rain here. Series will be alive going into the 3rd test. A good outcome in my opinion.

This test was considered least likely to be won by PAK in the leadup. So at SCG PAK go in with a chance of drawing the series. I think that is a big plus.

Australia is playing their best available team and that too at home.

Any Australian team in Australia is a big team

No, we have been lucky already. If there was no rain in this Test, we would have been 2-0 down and a whitewash would have been on the cards in Sydney. Now we can/will/should escape with a draw.
