Drop Shadab and take in Saud . That's the only change needed and comfortably the best XI for Pakistan.

Don't think there is a single better ODI player in all of Pakistan who can improve the first XI then.

It's pretty much the best side. There may have been a case for better back up players like Saim Ayub ahead of Abdullah Shafique but that's about it.

Abrar needs to come in place of Nawaz. Pakistan will not do anything in the WC without having two aggressive wicket taking options in the middle overs, this will reduce the pressure on Shaheen, Haris and Hassan Ali as well.

So the Indian team management of 1992 showing more proactiveness than the Pakistan team management of 2023 when it comes to axing non-performing vice captain and moving on.

That was horrible knock. I remember the coaching staff actually wanted him to get out for India to have a chance. India in the end lost by just 1 run and Ravi Sharstri scored 25 of 67 balls. Srikkanth & Ravi played 77 balls between them for 25 runs as KS got out for a duck of 10 balls.
