Were Donald Trump's negative comments about Pakistan justified?

The American president recently lashed out at Pakistan, saying:

"We have been paying Pakistan billions and billions of dollars, at the same time, they are housing the very terrorists we are fighting ... that must change immediately."

Do you think his remarks were justified? Why or why not?

Yes, in the sense that he was right on the facts. The right or wrong of a president asking another nation state to put their interests second to his country's is debatable but if we're purely considering the factual accuracy of what he said, he was right on the facts which leads me to believe that someone else was behind what he said because there's no way the Donald himself knows what's going on in this region in such detail.

Won't place much stock on what Trump says. He has to give such controversial statements to prop up support at home and divert attention from his train wreck of presidency

His words mean nothing.
But on the same token, this jazz about American 'aid' to Pakistan and Pakistan harboring terrorists has been going on since the Bin Laden operation. Some American politician or journalist will accuse Pakistan of harboring terrorists, Pakistan will deny it, America will continue giving money to Pakistan.
This Trump statement has zero substance and will not mean anything until they actually stop giving money to Pakistan for this war on terror.
