Welcome back, pp missed youWI is here to give everyone free wtc points thats all. Unless your Pakistan test team. Then anything can happen.
I'm not so sure. It's an OK score on this wicket.Windies on top, and Shamar isn't even playing
kiwi pitches tbf are'nt really the easiest to bat in and even if you bat terribly WI just finds a way to even be more ass like they did in Aus Series even after Seales and Shamar broke through the Aussies multiple timesWindies on top, and Shamar isn't even playing

And this WI batting unit is just awful
Yes Hagley Oval is generally a tough pitch to bat on. Definitely one of the bouncier pitches in NZ. West Indies were in with a chance by keeping NZ to under 200, but now NZ might end up with a decent first-innings totalkiwi pitches tbf are'nt really the easiest to bat in and even if you bat terribly WI just finds a way to even be more ass like they did in Aus Series even after Seales and Shamar broke through the Aussies multiple times
Good patnership going on. If they can take a lead, the match can become interesting.
By the way, I really don't rate this Nathan Smith.

ThanksWelcome back, pp missed you
I think game is even stevens atm with nz just holding the edgeRain comes to rescue Windies

Lankans are tbf actually serious a test cricket they were in the race for wtc final spit till their last seriesTheir is literally no point in having WI in WTC, literally none.
And tbh, I think Pakistan and Sri lanka should follow suit as well given how non serious they are in test cricket.
Windies have a chance to break their own record todayFrom Google AI:
highest 2nd inning test cricket chase?
The highest successful second innings Test cricket chase is West Indies' 418/7 against Australia in 2003, followed by South Africa's 414/4 in 2008 and Australia's 404/3 in 1948, with India also famously chasing 403 against the West Indies in 1976
well..they are buying time. Kiwis are bowling short setting trap for WI. Tight spin from other endWindies are going for a draw imo

Or they might be looking to get it around 75 and then attackwell..they are buying time. Kiwis are bowling short setting trap for WI. Tight spin from other end
I doubt it. It sounds clear that they are content with a draw. Not much in the pitch - just a little turn. it is weird why not go for win.Or they might be looking to get it around 75 and then attack
NZ were bowling with only 2 seamers.Depleted NZ attack or not, flat pitch or not, WI Test cricket really needed this after 27 ao.
Fantastic from Hope, Greaves and Roach.
CI saying that was WI's longest 4th innings in 95 years.
WI's batters are barely FC standard so it's an achievement for them.NZ were bowling with only 2 seamers.
Justin scored a century against bd also this yearIt's a very impressive draw despite NZ's depleted attack. I'm not sure if Justin Greaves even had a century in first-class prior to this
Looks like a good all-rounder. Hopefully he sticks around and doesn't go the T20 league routeJustin scored a century against bd also this year
He has a very impressive list a record as well
Beating Australia in Brisbane in a pink-ball test with such an inexperienced side was very impressive.Amidst all the doom and gloom windies manage to pull off miracle performances overseas.
This one, the match V Aus, beating Pakistan, Bangladesh in chattogram. These are some achievements that even top sides would be proud of.
He is a pathetic batter it was just an outlier.Looks like a good all-rounder. Hopefully he sticks around and doesn't go the T20 league route
Beating pak is not an achievementAmidst all the doom and gloom windies manage to pull off miracle performances overseas.

I don't think he's that bad. Especially for a team like West Indies where most guys are averaging between 25-30. I have seen him get stuck into the opposition a few times. He has some potential with the bat. Bowling-wise a bowler like that can be useful to give the fast-bowlers a break and keep things tight by bowling disciplined line and lengthHe is a pathetic batter it was just an outlier.
Bowling wise takes some wickets sometimes but pace is 120 kphish
Before this game he had 400 runs in 24 innings fyiI don't think he's that bad. Especially for a team like West Indies where most guys are averaging between 25-30. On those rigged spin mambas it is. Especially for a side like WIndies.Beating pak is not an achievement
