I hope they don't play Hafeez. Inzi has selected such a flop side that three or four of Shehzad, Hafeez, Kami, Malik and Tanvir have a guaranteed spot in the playing eleven. To make matters worse expect for Shehzad all of them are well into their thirties. Mashallah.

Poor batting line-up. In a slog feast, you can't go with MoHa at 6 & then 5 bowlers. Having 5 specialist bowlers is good idea, but there shouldn't be any place for MoHa - Malik & Fakhar can serve as 6th & 7th bowler. His All-round facet is the biggest bluff in a team that has Imad, Malik, Shadab & Fakhar.

Kamran for MoHa & to open with Fakhar - everyone goes one slot down. Still, Shehzad should be 1st pick before MoHa as 12th man.

I think, they'll drop Fakhar & probably one of Raees or Shadab to accommodate Kamran, MoHa & Shehzad.

I expect Pakistan to win although the Windies can put up a fighting performance,especially as it is their home turf.
 
Only in Pakistan cricket a 35 year old and a 36 year old are called back to play T20 cricket. Other teams play their u23 teams in the format.


Inzi has to be one of the worst selector we ever had.

Fakhar gives us an option of a left hander. So that means there is no space for Hafeez in the top order.

I don't think they will go with this team, i think Shehzad will play.

Important we start the tour on the right note and play this positive brand of cricket Arthur is talking about.

If we crawl to 130-135 and rely on our spin attack to defend a total then we're just staying in our comfort zone and we'll haven't learnt anything.

Actually I change my mind, I'd swap Fakhar for Kamran, Hafeez for Nawaz.

id be shocked if they played zaman given how bad he is and how since they recalled kami and Shehzad on form they might as well play them.

5 batsman and 6 bowers not fit for Pakistan. You have to bring in Shahzad for Nawaz. He is in good touch.

I only saw him play a couple of times and he seemed a close your eyes and swing kind of guy to me...

Had trouble fitting in Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez, especially knowing that Kamran Akmal will probably play. Hafeez, if playing, is coming somewhere at 1/2/3, nowhere else. Azam did show some potential opening with Karachi Kings, so he might slot there. Otherwise he could switch with Kamran. Don't think Zaman plays the first match. Open to any thoughts and suggestions

Yeah, unsettle the entire batting line-up because Shehzad is in good touch and because, for some reason 6 bowlers (even though 3 of them can bat properly) are "not fit for Pakistan".

Its West Indian pitches so expect slow, low spin-friendly wickets.

The Guyana pitch has been relaid but I still expect it to retain its usual characteristics.

As for the weather - 27°C for Sunday in Bridgetown.
 
Big test for Sarfraz as he gets a full overseas series to show his mettle

West Indies definitely favorites for me.
 
Our team is filled with accumulators. People claiming we'll beat the Windies are in for a surprise. Just look at that batting lineup. Shehzad, Kamran, Babar, Hafeez, Malik, Sarfraz are the front runners to be in the starting XI. This isn't even an ODI lineup, let alone a T20I one.

No team in the World comes with 4 batsmen and 1 WC only. You have to play Shehzad :shezzy I would hav been glad if Hussain Talat were also selected

Except for Malik and Kamran, don't see much of a T20 batting line up.

Fakhar is aggressive, but he wasn't tested against the short ball enough in the PSL and I'm certain, he'll be tested out by the WI and they have some express pacers to challenge him.
 
Cant wait to see what Shannon Gabriël is going to do with Shezad and Hafeez in the odi's :ma
They both will bee sitting ducks.

Shahzad was never suited to the ODI or T20 format, so LOL @ that selection
Kamran performs every 1 out of 9 innings, if you go look back, another pointless one
No U Akmal.
Malik is decent
Babar is slow and should only bat as an opener, isn't suited anywhere else as he cant pick up the pace
Sarfraz, overrated in this format.

Poor squad overall, and I hope for the best
