We need to start thinking like a modern team. This start slow, then slog at the end mostly doesn't work. And you'll never get a 300 score with it. If everyone strikes at a good strike rate, eg in 80s at least, we'll put up a good score. All we do is play as if we are staving off the collapse.

There should be one man who is a slow (not that slow) but reliable scorer who can stay in at the crease. Eg tendulkar of India, Trott of England, Kallis of South Africa. The rest should all play at a high strike rate and if not, then get out. That man at the moment, should probably be our most reliable batsman, which is Misbah at the moment.
