Next match is tomorrow.

For me: two changes. Nawaz in for Shehzad and Raees in for Tanvir.

Team lacks a Shahid Afridi/Razzaq kind of player that can take 20 runs pr. over on his day. Down the order hitting is non existing. You relay on bowlers like Riaz to come good.

For the love of all that is holy, can we stop looking for pink unicorns. The top5 collectively bat at a run a ball and this guy is looking for the next razzaq.

My XI:
Zaman (Fauji)
Akmal (Power)
Azam (Chosen One)
Malik (Don)
Wasim (Tank)
Sarfraz*+ (The Green General)
Nawaz (Steel)
Shadab (Prodigy)
Hasan (Race car)
Raees (Statue)
Shinwari (Warrior)

The problem is the batting squad is rubbish. Bowlers are not the issue. If you are thinking that you will get away with winning every time by setting a total of 130 odd you are delusional

The batting order was horrible.
With the limited batting talent that we have, atleast make the right choices for batting order.

Maybe Shehzad out too,to give Nawaz a chance, also allowing Fakhar to play as an opener.

I will rather open with Mohammad Nawaz and Akmal now.

Shizzy is really down on runs.

The sad part is that if they decide to do the right now and allow Fakhar to open, he will be feeling pressure of a mediocre two matches performance. So the odds are stacked against him.

Because of the back to back matches ..... I think the momentum is now with WI .... you guys think so ?????

You either perform or get dropped. This is international cricket, not club cricket.

Ahmed Shehzad
Kamran Akmal
Babar Azam
Fakhar Zaman
Shoaib Malik
Sarfraz Ahmed (WK + C)
Immad Wasim
Shahdab Khan

This Team For 4th T20

1 Kamran.
2 Shehzad.
3 Babar.
4 Malik.
5 Sarfaraz.
6 Shadab.
7 Imad.
8 Nawaz.
9 Wahab.
10 Rumman.
11 Shenwari.

I think, MoHa will come back, if he is fit. PAK will not let this chance go to reinstate MoHa; therefore, Ahmed is in risk. Other than that, they might drop Tanvir. One problem is - Fakhar should open, but if I keep Babar at 3, PAK actually has picked 4 openers for 2 slots + Asif Zakir. This is a poor & imbalanced selection, for which Inzi must have his explanations, I couldn't find mine.

I think, today Safu (& Mickey) made the first tactical blunder - in T20 unless it's a shocker of a wicket, one should never bat first after winning toss. Even in rain curtailed matches, most side chases down extended DWL targets in shorter overs.

I think, whoever wins the toss, should chase tomorrow.

If the new spinner Shadab doesn't fire , I guess we can put his hype to rest for a bit

The hype was already reaching unbearable levels- to the extent where some people were making threads regarding how Shadab has the capability to become the best spinner of all time.

He's a good talent no doubt but his bowling is criminally overrated.

Boss I am not sure where you get the idea that's it's a shocker of a wicket when the opposition overhauls your score in 15 overs and one of their batsmen gets a 90 at a strike rate of 200

They have to do something bold. You cannot have a line up in which shehzad is followed by babar then Malik then sarfaraz. Knowing pakistan they are likely to reshuffle garbage: Hafeez will come back and shehzad will go out or maybe he will take tanvirs allround slot

I think, I said the same thing - you missed an "unless" & "never" :).

That was a very good wicket, may be a little damp at the start, but turned into a batting belter. PAK should have chased there after winning the toss.

Yep. Fair shout. I missed that

More than selection, batting sequence is more important. Playing right player at right place is more important.

1. Kamran Akmal
2. Babar Azam
3. Fakhar Zaman
4. Malik
5. Sarfraz
6. Mohammad Hafeez (no other option. Shehzad cannot play 6)
7. Shadab
8. Nawaz
9. Hasan Ali
10. Usman Shinwari
11. Wahab

It's easy to say that we can't have Babar, Malik and Sarfraz batting one after the other but does anybody have a replacement for these guys from the domestic? It's not as if we have 5 Razzaq's sitting in the domestic waiting for their opportunity. There is not a single batsman in our domestic who can hit out consistently. Not even one. And please don't mention Haris Sohail and Hussain Talat. Haris Sohail is an overrated LOI batsman who can't hit out at all. I don't think he's even good for ODIs. He needs about 60 balls to get his eye in. :P

These days Hussain Talat's stocks are pretty high on PP. If and when he gets picked and doesn't perform these same experts will float a couple of other names of unknown cricketers and then all of PP will start raving about them.

It's always the folks not in the team that are supposedly oozing with talent and may even put Bradman to shame.

I remember the time when Fakhar Zaman was the toast of PP. Oh my God what a super flop this guy is. I mean Wahab has a better batting style than Fakhar. It's just shameful that a pure leg side hack like Fakhar can get into the team so easily.

Right now Umar Akmal is again being touted up. Like seriously? You're correct that it's always the guy who's not in the team that is supposedly our best player.

He has limitations but give him time to adjust wth international and improve his technic.

Agreed,as we should judge him upon where he bats in domestic not from number 6,also this would mean A Shehzad to be dropped who doesn't deserve a place after 3 failures.

yes Shehzad needs to be dropped now, Fakhar is an opener, needs to open

yes Shehzad needs to be dropped now, Fakhar is an opener, needs to open

i think FAKHar was bad but he is not really that bad ..he is not number 6 and number 6 needs to slog he couldnt so he became an utter hack...he will be better to open.again he is not taht good but will be better i said..

Tanvir and Hassan should give way to Raees and Shinwari.

Don't want to see nawaz again.

If another spinner is needed, then play Hafeez and make him bat at no. 6.

hussain talat tonked a few spinners in psl

played a cameo against bangla bros. But we do not know whether they were 135+ bowlers

Point is, Hussain Talat has not been tested against A grade pace. I do not think he should be hyped that much

I hope Hafeez replaces zaman and Tanvir isn't discarded, would love to see the following team

1. Akmal
2. Shehzad
3. Babar
4. Hafeez
5. Malik
6. Sarfaraz
7. Imad
8. Wahab

nice joke :))

nice joke :))

No i am damn serious, i would love to drop shadab somehow to include nawaz but, the media unfortunately has raised his stocks quite a lot in the past couple of days so that would raise some hue and cry from some quarters.

Not having Umar Akmal in the team is just so stupid. I'm not sure what exactly is wrong with that guy to be out of favour so badly. It's beyond explanation why a clean hitter like him can't stay in the limited overs side
