Pathetic display by Pakistan.

Instead of moving forward looks like it always goes back to basics for them, its like playing snakes and ladders!!!

Well played West Indies fully deserved.
 
victory to windies!!! great stuff!!! russell really did keep his nerve well in the end.
 
good effort there by ajmal at the end, but very poor batting performance all around, except for Umar Akmal
 
Even after this defeat Pakistan should still win their ODI series against WI comfortably. T20 is very unpredictable format where even a team like Netherlands could beat England on their day.

So one shouldn't be too critical on Pakistan performance based on this freakish loss.
 
Well played West Indies, great bowling Russell, excellent batting by Simmons and Bravo. Was an exciting match. Congratulations D. Sammy and West Indies.

oh yaar don't expect any progress...things will remain this way until next 4 yrs as well...just take what u get...no point in wasting your mental energy over them anymore...can't even chase 150 against a weak WI attack...pathetic show!
 
i hope bishoo is used properly by windies. so much wasted talent they had. remember ricardo powell?

of course but what matters is how you go about it . the approach has been questionable . the whole match has been full of comedy of errors by everyone and plain weird . :afridi

What the hell is Misbah doing in a T20 side when clearly he has proved time and time again to everyone he does not know how to play if its not TEST he has no clue!

Shahzad is becoming another Shahzaib Hassan in the making.

Hafeez always playing daft shots to get out.

Afridi - so much for listening to his daughters to play sensibly and improve his batting.

Asad Shafiq and Umar Akmal look good.

On a pitch where West Indies were hitting sixes and fours for fun, we struggled to even get in the outer circle, yes we are very succesful in finding the fielders and giving them catching practice.

Remains like this, its going to be 1 long frustrating summer of cricket by Pakistan in not only this series but the next and the next!
 
if youngsters to perform with the bat ...

My question is once again .... why the hell we need oldies .. in T20 and ODIs

from cricinfo- interesting stat-ahmed shehzad-40 runs in 5 wc games vs likes of canada, kenya, etc.
why the hell is he in the squad???

Heaven for the batsmen.

Afridi's been seeing heaven on every tour now. NZ was heaven with beautiful people and now the pitch.

You don't need some special skills to dismiss Pakistani batmen. Just throw the damn ball and leave the rest to Pakistani batsmen. :farhat:yk
 
Congratulations WEST INDIES ! They batted very well for first 15 OVERS then they have bowled well and fielded immaculately.



Pakistan should have played hammad azam instead of misbah ul TUK. West indies packed with some youngsters have made a positive start to the series. Simmons and bravo batted really well.



Senior pakistani batsmen have flopped miserably here and it should be clear now that more young promising batsmen need to drafted in the T-20 and ODI teams. I must say one senior batsman razzak dropped from this tour was a mistake by selectors. Razzak is very useful and more reliable than afridi with the bat in both T-20 and ODI formats.


Afridi is being interviewed by ian bishop, says" senior batsmen have been lacking in responsibility for last few months " ! honestly afridi looked very frustrated with the batting effort.



West indians are calling this a revenge series ! ravi rampaul was interviewed and he confirmed this will be j revenge series against pakistan !

It's good to see Windies finding a good youngsta spinner, all the best to young Bishoo for the future. Very nice and soft spoken kid.

So no Hammad? And Junior being the lone warrior again.

Anyhow, time to move on to the ODIs and the tour with hopefully the right attitude.

It was amazing to see pakistan miss so many FREE HIT opportunities ! We use to be kings of T-20 cricket but since last year especially the last three series our performance graph has gone down sharply !
 
We shouldn't take this loss to seriously, even Zimbabwe defeated a team like Austrlia in the T20 format. The real matches start from saturday
