As the series is now live and in the balance, and also the farewell match of one of Pakistan's TAG test batsman- Younis Khan.

Younis has been known to bail the team out of a difficult situation innumerable times such as this and the stage is setup nicely for one last hurrah from the great man.

Being an admirer of his batting, I would want him to retire on a high. And watching him in the recent series such as the tough England and Australia tours, he was at his best in the last test. So there's every reason to follow this last test match. Now that the 10000 run barrier is off his shoulders, he should be batting with more freedom.

Younis Khan tends t produce a big score in the last match of the series. Quite often it's a daddy hundred. Scored 200 in England and a 150 in Australia. When he gets really motivated to put up a performance he shows us the one quality of his that has made him legend of Test cricket and that is his application.

Yeah I was focusing on that tiny minority only - I'v seen careers spanning over 20 years destroyed to nothing over a mere innings or two

There is always a fall. Even Life ends one day.


That catch by the fielding standards of Powell was absolutely sensational. On another day He would have dropped it 9 out 10 times.

Odds have been low since the end of 2015. His consistency and strike rate took a fall since that which hinted that he was pretty much done.

It remains sad that he couldn't end with an average of 55 as he deserved. Same fate happened to Ponting.
