I have recently been browsing on the net to purchase elite lowkey fragrances. So many out there but only a few remind you of a memory or become your addiction.

For me these are my favorite in order:

1) Yves Saint Laurent Y Men Eau De Toilet
2) Vera Wang cologne
3) Creed Aventus
4) Davidoff Horizon

On my list next is Armani Code, Hermes and one of Tom Ford’s fragrances.

I’ve also noticed how mainstream Savage Dior is; literally everyone uses it. :))

So PP’ers, list your all time fragrances, any you highly recommend and any fragrances that are on your list to purchase!

I have to many to think of I love cologne but let me see if I can break it down to a top 5 for you :)

Ma Sha Allah stacked collection.

Recently started getting into designer and niche fragrances, especially after going to Middle East which is now in the running for more than just attar.

Fragrance houses like Lattafa has a lot to do with that I heard.

Personally love oud scents or oud influence, though I understand it’s not everyone’s cup of tea esp because pure oud is insanely strong

Mine currently are

Black Orchid - Tom Ford
Million Gold- Paco Rabanne
Ignite Oud- Ahmed Al Maghrebi
Sauvage- Dior
Continuum - Tumi

First 2 are parfum intense iirc, Sauvage is elixir version.

Have others, but they are mostly clones as I like to try them first, others from Middle East whose names I’m not sure of.

Have heard good things about JPG Le Male. Tried Azarro Most Wanted, really wanted to like it but idk, doesn’t fit my type.

Azarro Night Time was fantastic when I had it in 2017-2018, but seems like they changed the formula and smelled a bit synthetic from what I remember from before.

Have heard Diptyque and Dunhill are very popular amongst Indians especially after SRK said those are his go to.
I think he mixes them to create a custom scent.. I have never mixed but Diptyque Tam Dao is what SRK likes.. I like Phylosikos .. never used Dunhill

Mixing Montale Arabians Tonka & Black Incense Malaki by Chopard for the last few months.

Also like the new J. Cast & Crew Wood Intense Extrait. More affordable and better quality than Colish.

How do you mix it?

How do you mix it?
Spray the “heavier” smelling scent on your solar plexus, forearms, wrists, and the lighter scent on either side of your neck, chest.

That’s the best way to mix it from what I’ve read, it’ll create a better scent and leave a better trail overall than spraying both in the exact same place.

Got Bin Shaikh by Ahmed Al Maghribi. Very animalic opening, pure Oud smell at the start, will be off putting to anyone not used to Oud or attar but became an Oud classic soon after. Keep that in mind if wearing it out and about.

Dry down is really nice though. Classic gulf oud scent, but the opening could be nicer. Put this on 20-30 mins before going out so the animatic scent has dried down- will be worth it then.

Got Summer Oud by Ahmed Al Maghribi as well. Solid inviting and warm opening with Oud in the background, much more wearable in all environments. I quite like warmer and sweet opening drying in front of the Oud base.

Also Rasasi Hawas Fire. Like a Creed Aventus but sweeter opening which I quite like.

Challenge with finding good oud and attar is finding a repeatable source to buy from once you run out, because some of the best you get from Mecca / Medina.

After that a lot of trial and error to find oud that is not super animalic but at the same time not completely muted in the notes as well.

Shaghaf Oud Azraq by Swiss Arabian was a nice honey based Oud scent as well. Did not like Incense 01 by them though, incense is far too strong- my bad, should’ve known given the name lol :asghar

Get Shiyaka Shadow by Khadlaj if you can’t find Bad Boy Carolina Herrera. It’s very very close and good quality

Bro, the blue oud was very strong, the scent stays on the clothes even after they’re washed.

The only problem is that it’s been attracting the wrong gender😂

I also bought the pink diamond from ibraq, which imo smells better but isn’t stronger than the blue oud.

Haha, yeah that’s always the challenge.. finding a super strong scent but still inviting to the feminine.

Then yeah pink diamond might be good .. something sweeter but still masculine.

Summer Oud i’m really enjoying it’s by Ahmed Al Maghrebi as well as Oud and Roses by him I hear has the same vibe- and something women would appreciate.

Shaghaf Oud Azraq, Teriaq Intense by Lattafa would be my other two picks that imo women like. First one is honey and Amber infused Oud, second one has that middle eastern Oud scent but with a masculine sweetness.

Right now I layer Summer Oud with Hawas Fire. Both go insanely well together and have the right amount of sweetness with the strong Oud / spice note in the background.

Indian posters will come out here and say the "Shahrukh Khan fragrance".

The SRK Vindaloo Scent Max is hitting hard these days, and I'm afraid to say it's not in a good way.
