It depends on my mood, but more often then not I go for Deep Pan.

My favourite toppings are: Chicken, Green Peppers, Sweetcorn, Mushroom and Jalpeno; often I also pick BBQ as the base sauce.

I might be in the minority but I love me some Hawaiian Pizza. (For those who don't know a Hawaiian Pizza has fine minced meat with pineapples). Quite a simple pizza but hella delicious. Generally it is on a deep pan, soft crust.

Grew up in era before halal pizza places were on every corner so I'm still very much a veggie pizza guy. Used to go with deep pan but given the choice I'd probably go with a thinner crust nowadays, don't want to get filled up on the pizza base.

Stuffed crust is hit or miss, a good one is really nice but more often than not the cheese becomes a horrible congealed mess after the first slice or two.

True, it's one of those which you either like or you don't; I just never liked a sweet fruit as a topping but a fair amount of people do.

Also, are you a dominoes guy or pizza hut ?

Now there is a pizza shop on every corner :)) the ones in my area are not all that but caspian are generally consistent so I order from there, which shop are you loyal to ?

There used to be this place in Stirchley called Dhaka Pizza which was amazing but they shut down years ago. Now I'll normally head to Big Johns as they're not too far away and they do a 20 inch pizza.

Size matters :shezzy

If I am getting takeaway then I like my pizza deep-pan with a lot of cheese. Toppings would be cheese, extra cheese, tomato sauce, spicy beef, meatballs, mushrooms, jalapeno, red onions.

In a restaurant I'd order sourdough pizza.

I was just about to say that, they have the biggest pizza in the city; quality is standard though but it's the place to go if size is important :akhtar

Pizza Hut have the most heavenly vegetarian Pizza and Pizza Express near broad street I'd say have the best thin crust Pizza's, but I'd only go there as one off here and there as they are too expensive :mv

Thin crust italian style stone oven baked pizza with hot chicken is my favourite :)

deep pan and favourite is just meat feast but asian style so keema tandoori chicken donner lamb boti.

also like lamb balti and just tandoori chicken and donner on its own. pepperoni and salami too n chorizo.

Pizza hut veggie is really nice. But cant beat local desi places when it.comes to pizza or fast food in general

Yeah, I realize that sweet toppings is a very divisive topic. I actually don't mind either way. Pizza is pizza :shezzy

Actually I'm neither a dominoes guy or a pizza hut guy, primarily because if I order from there I'll have to get veggie since they do not have halal meat, I can eat non-halal meat, but moving towards a more halal lifestyle so trying to avoid it :ibutt

I generally frequent a local Mediterranean joint near my place and it has AWESOME pizzas.

domino's buffalo chicken pizza lol

i found out a jugaar in college where you could get 2 pizzas for price of one if you used their website and a certain promo code

Pepperoni from halal pizza stores but i am a diet guy i eat veggies and grilled food only and my only cheat meal usually is halal guys which i am sure usa based posters will know about :)

They opened a Halal guys in Toronto. I didn't like it one bit. We have better options of the same thing such as Osmows or Lazeez.

apparently theres a lot of fake halal guys going around (in nyc atleast) so you never know which one is the real deal

though tbh i find it very overrated. And add to that you have to eat like an animal

No the one that got opened is the official one from NYC.

The Halal Guys Brick and Mortar stores have turned out to be horrible. It's not even the same compared to the carts in NYC. Most locations they opened across the US haven't been as successful as thought.

it is among the cheapest food you can get in this country when you consider the serving size. i only go for beef and white sauce. the veggies chicken and hot sauce are distracting lol

Is it just me or do other people hate it when people watch you eat?

Thin crust with pepperoni slices and chicken.

I hate pizza currently because I ate too much free pizza at thesis defenses of my friends. Also made me realize how right I was to not take thesis.

This thread is making me hungry!

Pizzas are my favourite food.

Seafood, thin base. This is what I always look for but they can be very hit and miss as every place has a different idea of what seafood consists of. Veggie is probably up there as well, don't really like the pizzas with too many toppings on them. And of course you can't really go wrong with the desi contribution to Italian cuisine, tandoori chicken.

These days I'm in margheritta mood for some reason really enjoy the classic margherritta italian style..

I enjoy the vegetarian sizzler with the Italian crust

My fav is cheese crust, lamb donner, extra cheese, pineapple and jalepenos.

Recently I've been going to Papa Johns as they have feta cheese to put on the pizzas. :inzi

I got evils at work when I told them we should order seafood pizza.
I quite like it

Outside papa john what other pizza place is your favourite in brum? Also what is papa johns quality like? Have never been there, are they similar to dominoes/pizza hut

I dont mind a tuna sweetcorn pizza but prawns and anchovies? It's just wrong. @Cpt.Rishwat

Fry from futurama loved seafood on his pizza :yk I would rather have tuna then a sweet fruit as a topping though

Papa Johns use fresh ingredients, I know every pizza shops says they do but they cut their vegtables daily and use the finest quality and the same goes with the dough. They also have different types like feta cheese which tastes so good with their grilled chicken. Not all of their outlets are halal but the chicken is.

I don't rate Big Johns, their pizzas taste like frozen pizzas. I only go to the drive through if it's late at night. Caspains are good but like all shops it's the person who makes the pizza who will determine how good it is. One of my friends owns a shop outside of Brum, so I usually take a drive to see him and basically make my own pizza. I have to make sure there is a lot of cheese on the pizza.

Love Pizza Huts chicken fajita and hot stuff

Am going to order from them as a one off, I don't think they do buy one get one free though do they? :(

I never order from Big John's either, Caspian is my favourite because generally they are always consistent compared to all the other places and have set certain standards which I respect; plus they're are great value for money as well.

That is so cool making your own :)) I'd never leave the shop if my mate owned a pizza branch :yk

How can people even have a favorite when it comes to Pizza? It's amazing in all shapes and sizes and crusts...including the stuffed Chicago style and the Turkish pizzas you get in the middle east.

No they dont but they do have offers, I usually go for the largest pizza they do for £10 (collection only). Don't bother with the menu, just go for free choice and make sure you demand they are not tight with the toppings you choose esp the cheese.

I really only just put the toppings on, usually a large lamb kebabs worth of donner, loads of cheese etc.

If you ever eat a pizza and you bite into dough and tomato pureee only.... your pizza is a fraud! :butt

Cheese, cheese, more cheese, and extra cheese. On the base, on the base again, and in the crust, and etc.

Four Cheese Stuffed Crust = The Mother.

A man who knows! :wg

Do you prefer a wood fire pizza or the usual oven one?

Yeah heard bad things about it (the one on Yonge). Lazeeeez though   Best shawarma on the planet.

For pizza, I'd order a base of tomato sauce with cheese (obviously), (halal) pepperoni, jalapenos, and mushrooms.

Also don't mind green peppers and tomatoes. Pickled peppers work as well. Olives are meh, usually a no-no.

Seafood or anything sweet never works on pizza for me.

Which one? I frequent the one on CreditView and Brittania.. It's always so crowded. With lots of beautiful scenery if you know what I mean :srt

shaz619 if u ever in Bradford id recommend Rajas Pizza. Yazzs and Park Fisheries. You wont be complaining. 3 Pizzas Chips and a bottle of Pepsi for under 15 quid.

cant beat local Pizzerias. Find the big franchises Dominos Pizza Hut to be overrated considering what prices they charge.

YES! :))

That one used to be my go-to, but moved into a different area a few months ago, so now it's the one on Thomas and Tenth Line.

But I think the one on Britannia makes the food better. :inzi

Thomas one, the service is lowkey too slow.

Yazz's pizza? Oak lane? What's their special and price? Might pop in on way back from work

ShadabFakhar its the same in most places. Yazz is a bit more expensive about 3 for 13 last time i checked. But havent had Pizza in a while. if u do order if recommend Donner or their Meat Feast really filling.

yeah Yazz on Oak Lane.

Theres a place in Dewsbury that supposed to be nice too.

I think Tawa will catch on here too and a lot of places will start doing it. Just like Peri Peri and Parmesans.

Tawa pizza? Not a fan of peri peri myself, it maybe that I've just ordered it at the worst places

For donner meat, there's down the road right across Lister Park. Lister Park Fisheries I think it's called. They refurbished quite recently.

Does their meat feast have pepperoni, salami, etc? If yes, then I'll go for the typical 'apna style'

ShadabFakhar no not Tawa Pizza. Tawa is this Screenshot_20170717-223723.jpg

peri peri pizza from pizza palace on toller lane is pretty good. next to bbq express.

Yazzs meat feast is apna style meat feast the best kind.
shaz619 this is kabanas btw

Lol, I thought it'd be an easy take-away. That's American-size portions. Roti and Chips not a good combo, looks like Tawa is the UN of all foods trying to please everybody everywhere

Deep pan for the base, needs to be thick, but not too thick.

Toppings: tandoori chicken, pineapple (heard they're banning this in America, out of their minds yanks!), sweetcorn, jalapenos, tomatoes (ofc!), green peppers, chilli.

Not the best time to think about your second favourite food type just before going to bed, but a mention by shaz619 has to be obliged. :inzi

Domino's used to be my go-to as they once did the DOMINATOR which was a creamy herb & cheese base. Obviously would have vegetarian in Domino's/Pizza Hut, but due to the dominator, Domino's was THE ONE.
However, they've stopped dominator :mv, so now Pizza Hut is better. I really enjoy how soft their pizza is.

Deep pan or thin? Hm, tbh I'm not fussed. I've mostly grown up having deep pan but nowadays my mum orders 1 thin and 1 deep pan. I don't really mind as pizza is pizza. Marginally prefer deep pan though, as I do have nostalgic feelings towards it.

However I usually don't get Pizza Hut/Domino's since I like having meat on my pizza, and order from Milano's which do some cracking deals like £13 for 2 extra large pizzas if you collect, or something along them lines. Their pizzas are really nice. Cheesy, but you can taste the toppings and it has a nice freshness to is. Comparing it to a place like Chunky Chicken, I guess I find Milano's better as it just tastes better. I feel like a lot of other halal pizza places taste generic.

Favourite toppings are meat feast; tandoori chicken, chinese chicken, red onions, mushrooms; tandoori chicken, sweetcorn, green chilli's, red onions. But then again, I'm not fussy since pizza is pizza.

I worked at Dominos for 3 years. Made, served, ate and delivered all kinds. Desi's love Jalapenos and peppers, I've seen desis ask for Jalapenos and hot sauce on their pizza (must enjoy going to the bathroom a lot i guess). For me personally, I prefer chicken with Jalapenos (yes I am a desi too) on a brooklyn style crust pizza.

Best pizza I probably had was in Pakistan, Pizza hut's Bihari kebab pizza. It was delicious.

My standard Pizza Order is

2 XL Cheezy Thin Crust with Beef Pepperoni + Extra Cheese

Classic crust anyone? Fave toppings prolly max out on bbq chicken, capsicum, mushroom, pineapple, feta, tomato, red onion and extra cheese on creme fraiche sauce. Not the healthiest thing so might add a bit of baby spinach in there when I'm feeling a bit health conscious :))

Nothing beats a good home-made pizza tho. Not that hard to do either once the prep is done. All you need is a good pizza stone just stick it in the barbie and voila. Stuffed crust n all.

I was tagged, so I'm obliged to answer, even though I can't eat it due to the keto thing. Back when I was eating it, we would make it at home. Whole wheat crust (store-bought from Whole foods), homemade tomato sauce, whole milk mozzarella, and an assortment of grilled meats and fresh veggies. It can actually be healthy, as long as you track the portion sizes: even when the ingredients themselves are good, the calories do add up.

Back in the hedonistic days of my youth, I liked deep dish, (beef) pepperoni, lots of cheese, and an obscene amount of red pepper flakes. After moving to the US, the meat became a problem for obvious reasons, so my go-to combination was onions, jalapeños and pineapples. There was something about the spicy-sweet combination of the jalapeños and the pineapples that just worked for me. Haven't had it in years though.

Thin and made by Italians,I had one made in thailand and got to say no pizza in Chennai tasted better again.

I just like the oven ones. I have yet to grasp why wood-fired is apparently superior,

It has a very "wild" feeling to it although personally for me as an Indian,I love tandoori roti(bread), so coal or wood fired oven Pizzas give good crispier outer crusts.

Deep Dish might not go well for the same though.

Didn't see the topping ,I love mushrooms,Pepers,Zuchini, olives, jalapenos, babycorn, onions, tomato basically all veg except surprisingly paneer and soya which don't go well on pizzas.

Urgh...mushroom & sweetcorn on pizza is just..

Mine has to be spicy..green chilli & jalapeno with chicken & onions.

Curry munching asians :yk may as well put dal on their Italian Pizza as well :))

Totally agree on that point, I love Tandoori roti as well it's my favourite and am usually the one who always orders it alongside naan as well. Have not had a wood-fired over Pizza in a long time but they are surely the best for those who like a crispier Pizza

I dont mind a tuna sweetcorn pizza but prawns and anchovies? It's just wrong. @Cpt.Rishwat

I love anchovies on pizza, goes great with olives. Prawns don't really make much difference, it's the anchovies and tuna which give it the taste. But I've had some naff ones to be fair. Doesn't matter what the topping is if they don't get the base right, and a lot of the cheaper places don't. As others have said, a really good quality Margarita will taste better than a greasy takeaway pizza with all the toppings.

Homemade 'Goodfellas Thin Margherita' frozen pizza as the base with some bits. Mix some oregano, onion salt, garlic powder, garlic slices, cayenne powder, green chillis, red onions, olive oil and apply after precooking. better than buying from pizza places with their sickly bases and rank sauce.

As stupid as it sounds, would love to make my own pizza in Pakistan with a wood fired tandoori oven, lol. But the lack of the availability of cheese is shocking. would be lovely in the rural areas.

My bro went there and he said it was nothing special.

Surprisingly it was his white friend who really wanted to take him there:afridi
