Some of his podcasts are fairly interesting. Hard to pigeonhole him into an ideology.

His stuff is interesting for a short while. Afterwards he just comes off as a bloke who clearly suffers from fake enlightenment.

I enjoy his podcasts a lot since he has guests from all walks of life. But one thing that irritates me about him is that he never challenges his guests and agrees with them on EVERYTHING regardless of their political views.

Yeah, he does think of himself as some enlightened guy, i just watch his podcasts because of the guests that he invites.

its an interesting show, better than what we get out there on tv, and he brings interesting guests.

He does get on some good guests however he rubs off on them to the point where after 20 minutes, they're both smoking weed and talking conspiracies. It's really juvenile and cringe-worthy.

I think his podcasts are great. He has all sorts of amazing(and not so amazing) guests on which help keep conversations fresh. Of course there are a lot of reoccurring topics that Rogan goes back to constantly and seems to be obsessed with, but there is still a lot to like about him.

I was listening to his most recent show with Brian Cox recently and it’s always fascinating when he is on the show.

Just because he is smoking weed its juvenile?
God damn ur closed minded as hell.

He has podcasts that have been very informative.

Some less then others. But he has given a voice to a lot of people that mightve never been heard.

There is reason why he has the biggest podcast in the world.

Joe is a gatekeeper. He knows more then he lets on.

His role is to ask questions and keep the conversation going.

There is a reason why weed and few drinks r invovled in his podcasts. Its get the person to losen up.

It's not that he's smoking weed. It's the fact that he uses drugs as his gateway of his fake enlightenment nonsense. Watch his podcasts and it's really distracting. He seems to think that having his guests high will invoke better discussion, yet it rarely does. Getting a person to "losen up" with drugs isn't what's needed on a podcast. The fact that you used "ur" and have gotten offended about me calling out his use of drugs on his podcast says a lot about you to be honest.

So i used an abbreviation lol..

The one that got offeneded about his use of marijuana during a social discussion was you.

You were judging him on the bases of his use of weed and alcohol during an interview.

How is it fake enlightenment? Is he telling you to believe everything that is said in the podcast?
Its called do you're OWN research.

Man you got defensive quick.

You sit on a high chair looking down upon him because he uses a herb that is literally natural to the known world and been used for over 10s of thousands of years, almost by every civilization known to mankind. And yes hat includes the muslims aswell.

You clearly pointed out to his use of marijuana in your first post calling him juvenile, after i called you closed minded, which you are.

You got defensive and retracted your statement, now saying its not about the weed ahahah. Funny.

I like his analysis and take on martial arts and combat sports, some of his guests who are experts in that domain bring a lot to the table. He is a BJJ black belt under Eddie Bravo of 10th planet fame, so he has credibility.

He's an interviewer, he's not inviting people to debate them lol. I actually enjoy the laid-back and friendly nature of his show.

Same. I probably wouldn’t watch the show as much if he was negative and combative. The friendly, calm nature of the show is good even when he’s speaking to some of his more controversial guests.

I only watch him depending on who he is interviewing, usually boxers or combat athletes. Rogan himself is nothing special and lot of what he talks is pure nonsense. He is friends with the likes of Alex Jones, who is crazed lunatic.

Yes his smoking weed is just lame. Do it at home man, it was cool in the 60s but now 12 year olds smoke it.

His podcasts are interesting to listen to especially the ones about fights but the broscience he subscribes to and his political views disinterest me. Also for some reason his obsessed with big guys and their facial features even though he's a married man.

Yes joe is obsessed and i mean real obsessed with drugs and psychedelics escpecially mushrooms and ayhuascha or anything to do with DMT and altered states of consciousness. Basically its only what hes watched for and what made him popular.

But anyone on YT who can bring Elon Musk on his show must be special, especially if its for 2 long hours and if he get Elon to smoke weed on camera he must be real special.

I was a fan till I saw one of his episodes on Islam and Muslims. Haven’t seen a single one since then.

I'm not offended by his weed usage, it's very possible to criticise someone and say why you don't like something, and not be offended by it. I'm not offended by multiple TV shows I've watched, but I can still criticise them.

I have no problem with weed on it's own, or using weed socially. I personally approve of it's use in medicine. Doesn't mean I have to like the way he uses it in his own podcast. I'm purely trying to criticise how he uses it from a perspective of a viewer, not from some political perspective. I think you're misunderstanding me in that sense. I said "it's not that it's weed" because you can replace weed with any other drug or narcotic and I'd still talk about it in the same context. Perhaps I should've said "it's not that it's weed specifically" and I admit that's my fault.

He shows a high level of fake enlightenment in HIMSELF, not saying that about his viewers or even his guests (unless we're talking about Alex Jones). It rubs me the wrong way. I agree he doesn't tell you to believe everything that is said, which is why I'm making it the point that it's him and obviously it goes without saying that the viewer can make of it what they will.

He has produced some very interesting / insightful interviews, specifically involving Tyson Fury; the one with Mike Tyson was also good but then it got to a point where Joe wasn't letting the man express himself enough and it sort of turned into a 50/50 game of ping pong when you want to see Joe bring more out of his guest.

Haven't paid much attention to the drug use etc but he is a decent interviewer that has room for improvement.
